    Pros +

    • Nice room , comfy bed , nice terrace
    • Very nicely designed contemporary rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very centrally located.
    • Fantastic central location - great rooftop terrace - spacious rooms - helpful staff- sauna.

    Cons -

    • It was freezing in the breakfast room every single morning for 4 days , everybody would wear a coat also the staff …
    • you can’t open a window for fresh air so you need to run the aircon fan overnight which I prefer not to do Also the charming internal patios in each room are shared with a room above or below which means sound can travels between rooms
    • Can be tricky to get there in a taxi as it is so central but hotel staff very helpful in guiding taxi drivers to closest accessible point. Room needed a few extra touches .. bed side light , hooks for towels , small table and stool in main room.?

Excellent location, beautifully decorated hotel. Very good breakfast and the staff was very helpful.

The bathroom had only a flimsy door, no walls, separating it from the rest of the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel! The architecture is beautiful and the room has such peaceful calming vibes despite being right in the middle of Centro Historico. From our room we truly could not hear a peep from outside or even from the other guests. We loved having our little private terrace ! Also this hotel is in a great location to explore the area of CDMX. The staff were so kind and helpful and the breakfast was amazing, served on the rooftop terrace with a great view of the cathedral.

This is not the hotel’s fault but may be helpful to know that it is on a pedestrian-only street during the day, so ubers had to pick up/ drop us off a few blocks away. Not a huge deal except when we had all our luggage. I would 100% still stay here again!

Clean, beautiful design, great breakfast on rooftop.

You can hear other guests through the openings between the floors. The modern design is beautiful but it does not keep out the sound. I heard an entire conversation from the room below us because people were standing in their private lobby (behind the hotel door) but not inside their room. I only stayed one night and thankfully the conversation didn’t last long. But there was limited privacy for them - I felt awkward overhearing the convo.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely staff and delicious breakfast in a perfect location to explore centro.

There was an event on one of the days we stayed and we had the production crew outside our room window all day and late into the night which made it less relaxing

Everything, our stay was perfect. It felt like 5 star service, all of our needs were met and the staff in the hotel wouldn’t allow us to lift a finger when it came to any of our ask. Absolutely amazing hotel, the rooms were beautiful and of such high quality and so unique. The included breakfast is amazing with a choice of many dishes which are freshly prepared every morning. We really enjoyed using the sauna and the pool early in the morning right after breakfast to start our day.

This nothing really to do with the property and mainly our choice of location, we felt that as it’s so central the surrounding hustle and bustle of the area made it difficult to relax outside of the hotel.

Great location, we loved this hotel, it it quirky, clean and minimilist. Our room was big with modern amenities.Super little pool and restaurant/bar on the roof overlooking the sqaure.Staff were very helpful especially when we arrived and left due to the teachers strike distruptions. Would recommend this hotel.

Despite catering more to foreign tourists than locals, the experience at Círculo Mexicano provided us with a very first glimpse of Mexico. Its location allowed us to experience the real city.

Could not try the sandals (they were none in our room :/ )

The staff was lovely, room was great but quite loud (e.g. the airco especially, and i could hear lots of loud noises from other rooms and the hallway). The rest was perfect, especially the rooftop!

Lots of noise in the rooms and the location is definitely not the best/most friendly for tourists, so you need to be very careful in the area.

The design is very cool and thoughtful. We had superior larger rooms in overlooking the square, which were very good size.

Quite a few things:- water in the pool is ice cold. It is not intended for people to swim, but rather to get in and out when it is hot- breakfast included are a complete disaster: super limited offer and namely says “1 piece of bread”. There are no European options like avocado toast or similar (no French toast or pancakes, you can forget about it). Most people took poached eggs, black coffee (cappuccino not included), and pay additional for avocado (in Mexico…). The restaurant staff is super slow, brings wrong staff and doesn’t speak English. Takes ages to have a simple breakfast. Salt is not on the table and they have to fetch it, usually takes 5 minutes. Basically, you end up paying for it to get anything “extra” normal. - water in the rooms is limited to 1 carafe. They don’t have more carafes in the hotel is you ask for it. - bathroom on the ground floor is not for customers, but for staff only. So if you are waiting for a taxi, please go upstairs to use wc.- no coffee/tea, sleepers, bathrobes or similar in the rooms - reception female staff is not very fast and not particularly welcoming. Very factual, and slow with any requests. These are just a few to name. Since this hotel has been in a few city guides and designer magazines like Cabana, it turned out very disappointing

Beautiful design hotel. The rooftop and pool are amazing. Breakfast on the rooftop everyday was such a treat

Hardly anything. But I would say choose your room carefully. Our beautiful private patio did share an internal courtyard space which you could hear a lot of noise from other guests at all times of the day. I personally would prefer more quiet.

Breakfast was pretty bad. Very small dining room and we had to wait for a table. Eventually we got one and only 1 lady was in charge of serving everybody. So the toasts can as deserts since I was long finished with my eggs. Very bad organisation. The next days, we had breakfast elsewhere even though breakfast was prepaid.

Food service was super bad. We had a drink on the roof top and it took 40 minutes to get a guacamole! Same problem as the breakfast mentioned above. For this level of prices, please hire a few more people.

Amazing hotel! Rooms were so pretty and comfrotable and the staff were really lovely and friendly. It is right in the heart of the centre - but the hotel feels peaceful - a great place to chill out aftrer a day of sightseeing.

Beautiful design (rooms and rooftop). The craftsmanship was quality not cheap. The rooms had high ceilings, quality custom lines, soundproof windows, good AC, a safe, fridge, mini bar and a nice deep closest. Cleaning was daily with fresh towels. Lots of lights, a nice TV, we slept like babies. The rooftop was smartly designed as a multi use area. It had a pool, bar, sauna, hot tub, fir pit, restaurant and bathrooms. The views of the church and square were wonderful. The daily breakfast was a highlight. A great multi course breakfast with bottomless coffee and many menu items to choose from. The wait staff were very attentive. The hotel has many shops and is close to all activities that leave from central area.

We spent a lot of time in the other areas with better eating out options (Condesa and Roma). So a hotel in Central area was not ideal because we needed taxis. But this is not the hotel's fault. We knew this when making the reservation. The pool was too cold to swim in when we arrived but after a few days it warmed up. A heated pool could mean more use for guests during the cooler months. It would have been good to have more sun loungers (only 4) and add some umbrellas so you can easily move between shade to sun on the same chair.
