We truly enjoyed the stay here. They have great breakfast with a view!!! Location is also great with the metro and tram walking distance! They were very attentive and helpful every time we needed something.

Not much to be honest

The property is located in an area where it’s surrounded by random stores that sell things like lawn care equipment and home renovation materials. There’s a rooftop deck that has a view but we weren’t allowed to sit there with our food that we had bought while we were out. We were told the seating was only for those dining at the hotels restaurant. We don’t want to eat at their restaurant our whole trip, the seating should be for all paying hotel guests. Also, the breakfast looks nothing like the pictures. I’d rank it below average. Would not recommend or ever stay in this hotel again.

Thanks to all team members! Great hospitality. Everybody is so attentive. We felt very welcomed. The hotel is very clean and cosy. The location is great since you can get all kinds of transportation just in front of the hotel. Don't forget to have dinner at the rooftop restaurant. The food is great!!!

I loved the view from the room, the character of the hotel and location. But the best was The staff including but not limited to Sinan, Haron and Sfrkan. Everyone was so friendly and genuine.

The alcohol prices were a bit excessive at the restaurants and in the fridge.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional hospitality provided by the hotel staff. Mr. Haroon, Mr. Ahmed, and Mr. Sadat were incredibly professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable.A special thanks as well to Sina, the coffee attendant, for her kindness and the wonderful service she provided every day. Her warm attitude added a lovely touch to our experience.Overall, the team made us feel at home, and we are truly grateful. Highly recommended! ?

Perfect location, close to public transport and to the Karakoy boat pier. Also a good number of fish restaurants nearby. Clean, comfortable room, terrific rooftop bar. Staff was attentive, courteous and professional, Ahmet and Sedat were always ready to help.

The people their are very friendly and professional especially ahmed and senan, a great hospitality and very nice food at breakfast

Hotel Momento Golden Horn more than met our expectations! The staff is fantastic! They not only directed us to reach locations, they also accompanied us to a destination for our 1st tour! Hotel staff was professional and provided everything we needed for a welcomed stay. The hotel location is very close to the Tram, which we used six days out of seven. We walked to Metro once to reach Taksim. Our room on 7th floor was perfect size, large bathroom, sitting area and bedroom,all with view of Golden Horn and Old City! The restaurant was excellent!! Breakfast was a fantastic array of choices, and the view was always out of a picture book- day and night! From the 8th floor restaurant and bar there is an outdoor viewing area! Loved this hotel, location, service and the employees! We are world travelers, and I would give Hotel Momento Golden Horn the best rating possible!

A place to store luggage would have given us more floor space. An English TV channel would be nice to catch world news during our stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. What made our stay truly exceptional was the warm and professional attitude of *Mr. Sedat*, the Office Manager.He went above and beyond to make sure every part of our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Whether it was assisting with check-in, arranging special requests, or simply checking in on our comfort, Mr. Sedat's dedication and hospitality truly stood out.Thanks to his efforts, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. This level of service is rare and deserves recognition. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking not just comfort, but also a personal touch that makes all the difference.

We stayed from 25-Oct to 01-Nov.2025 for 07 nights at Hotel Momento Golden Horn. I reserved booking after going through a lot of reviews of various hotels in same area and I chose Hotel Momento as they had excellent reviews and it met my expectations during our stay. Rooms are cleaned daily and staff is very helpful, excellent breakfast. Location is very central ,only few minutes from Tram T1 and Galata Bridge. You can walk to most of the attractions like Taksim square, Spice Bazar, Sirkeci ,Blue mosque ,Aya Sofia etc. I want to thank Sedat and Sinan for their outstanding hospitality.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable -- particularly Ahmet and Sedat who were utterly charming and helpful. I don't think my suitcase touched my hand from the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out! There was a slight kerfuffle about the bed configuration we had asked for, but they had it sorted out promptly, offering us free tea and coffee while we waited. Location could not be better -- stepd from the Tunel and the T1 tram line, ferries, and everything you need.

Room could have been a bit bigger, but they are pretty typicall-sized for European hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and every visit feels like coming home. From the moment we arrive, we feel like long-awaited guests. Mr. Sedat always welcomes us with great respect, care, and attention - we are truly grateful for his kindness. Mr. Ahmet is also always ready to help with anything we might need - thank you for your warmth and professionalism!Whenever possible, the reception generously offers us the best available room. The rooms are always spotless, fresh, and spacious, with everything you might need - even a toothbrush and toothpaste. The beds and pillows are simply sultan-worthy - the most comfortable we’ve ever had! Breakfast is delicious and full of variety.Every time we stay here, we feel special. The entire team does everything to make our stay perfect. Whenever we fly through Istanbul, we always choose this hotel.

I just wanted to share how wonderful my experience was! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. Sedat, the Hotel Manager, went above and beyond to help us arrange tours and answered all our questions with a smile. The location is absolutely fantastic—the views from the 8th floor are stunning, and you can really take in the beauty of the city! And let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. Great breakfast. Very central location. Elegant hotel. Enthusiastic concierge/doorman.

Breakfast servers didn’t seem to like their jobs. Prices at the bar/restaurant were too high. (€30 for a simple plate of spaghetti)

Sedat and Ahmet went out of their way to help us check in, check out, arrange logistics and make us feel at home.
