The heaters didn't work, aircon didn't work. the fridge didn't work. it says soundproof rooms, but we had neighbours that complained when we moved our bags and spoke in the room. OUr initial booking was cancelled due to us being few minutes late due to a flight delay. we didnt get a refund we had to stay the night with all our luggage at Fuat Palace which was a better place and was open. We then paid 350Euros at Hagia to book the same room that was cancelled. They basically stole our money. Muslims. The management dont understand a word of English

I was planning to stay for 4 nights, but after second night I decided to leave, because it was far from my working location. I liked that the area is very quiet. There’s a bus stop near, so you can take a bus and no need to climb the hills to reach Eminonu. I liked the welcoming staff. I liked the comfortable bed. There are several cafes and restaurants around the hotel and a small park. Also there was a fridge in the room so it was great. Hot water in the shower.

The room smelled cigarettes. I used to smoke, so it was very disturbing. The sheets on the bed were old and not pleasant to skin. Also the room was a bit small. It looked much bigger on the photo.

Good location and cheap prices.

Cleanliness wasn't good. We found 2 small bed bugs under the mattress (although fortunately we didn't get bitten). The mattress cover was not in good condition either and the towels were grayish. The bathroom had a bad smell and was too tight for a tall person.

The location of the hotel is really good and close to Fatih and Sultanahmet. Also, the staff are really friendly (especially Hakan bey) and helpful and they clean the room everyday. For the price I paid I can not ask for more. I will definitely come back again.

The toilet didn’t flush properly, there was no desk chair (they finally brought one from the patio which was old and cracked), and the owners smoke inside the building (the room was fine but common spaces smelled like smoke)

A completely ruined vacation — full of stress, disappointment, and frustration instead of rest and joy.

Simply terrible.We could never have imagined experiencing something like this.We informed the property in advance that we would arrive late (our flight was scheduled that way), and they confirmed it was fine.When we arrived, we stood outside the door for half an hour, but no one opened. Then we asked a neighboring hotel to call them. They called, and the staff said they would open soon, but we had to wait another 20 minutes outside.When they finally opened, they told us there was a problem with our room (even though there were no other guests and they could have easily given us another one). Instead, they decided to send us to another hotel, about 10 minutes away, “just for one night” until the issue was fixed. That place looked like it had been lived in by homeless people and smelled incredibly strong of cigarettes.At 11:50 PM, we left and had to look for another hotel ourselves—just to be able to take a shower and get some rest, because the room they offered us was disgusting.The next day, around 4 PM, they finally told us our room was “ready.” We went back only to request a refund (since we hadn’t stayed and had no intention of staying there). At that point, we were verbally attacked over the phone by the receptionist, who didn’t speak a single word of English.To make things worse, the photos posted on Booking.com have nothing to do with the reality — the place looks completely different, old, and poorly maintained. Both hotels smelled strongly of cigarettes, making it impossible to stay inside for long.We were stressed, our vacation was ruined, and we lost money.It was simply awful — the worst experience we’ve ever had.I do not recommend this place to anyone. It’s a total disgrace. Completely inhumane.

Location is good.

No doorbell, no way to open the main door when you arrive. Manager was not happy with me when I knocked on the glass door.... But better than waiting outside for God knows how long...Missing shower door, flooded the bathroom.. Good price and location. Good value, nothing amazing. You pay for what you get.

The room was pretty small.

The owner of the hotel was responsive to our requests. We arrived during the night, which was not planned initially, but we didn't have any problem checking in.Another aspect is a very good location and value of money.

The location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions and public transport. The host was very nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it

I had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well located within walking distance of numerous coffee shops and restaurants. The experience exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay there again.

Owner is nice. The place is quiet and walking distance from enough things as well as metro stations. The price compared to most other places in town is very good. Daily cleaning of the rooms.

Internet would go in and out sometimes but not horrible.

Pretty cheap and great location. Clean, tidied every day, has air conditioning. Very friendly and helping staff.

The worst thing is that walls seem to be made of cardboard, you can hear every step on the stairs, TV in other rooms, talking at the reception. Had very bad sleep because of that, that's why never going here again. If you sleep like a log, you might be alright. Also, water in the shower needs readjustment every 15 seconds to be of normal temperature, as it goes hotter and colder randomly. Handbasin is really small and needs special skills to brush your teeth at. No handsoap included.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel!The location is perfect — close to many attractions and with a supermarket just nearby, which was very convenient.The host was extremely kind and even helped me carry my luggage.If I come back to Istanbul, I will definitely stay here again!

Location was perfect, close to everything and in the same time quite street. Host was very welcoming and helped us a lot, highly recommend
