The Tango Hotel Taksim

The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is good.

The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. Every morning during my vacation, I was woken up by the noise of a family gathering held by the guests staying in the room next to mine, right outside my door.Additionally, this hotel does not offer any rooms with a large (double) bed. As the staff informed me, all rooms come with two small beds that are pushed together to form one, which results in a gap in the middle that may not be comfortable for sleeping.

Everything was nice and clean, comfy bed. food was fresh and delicious. Definitely I’ll visit again.

Really nice, clean hotel, great breakfast, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was close to Istiklal Street for shopping - but also only a couple of turns away and it was quiet. Loads of eating places nearby.

Can’t say I didn’t like anything about this hotel.

The hotel is clean, the room has reasonable size, bath is spacious and the location is superb may be just 100 meters away from Taksim Shopping street. Area is full of restaurants, groceries etc. Not far from main metro station.

Noise at night

We visited Istanbul for a weekend and were looking for a hotel in the middle of the city, with easy access to all three main parts of Istanbul. We chose The Tango Hotel, which is located near Taksim Square, close to the metro, bus stops, and taxis (just be a bit cautious with taxi drivers), and it was a great choice! The price was good, and the location was perfect.The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the reception is open 24 hours. They also offer breakfast—personally, I didn’t eat there, but my friend did, and she was really happy with it.If you prefer eating out like I do, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés right outside the hotel.Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Istanbul!

The room came with just one key, which was a bit tricky since we were two people with different plans—but we managed to arrange it somehow.

The location is great. You’re walking distance to all the fun nightlife and street food without being directly above a club. The breakfast buffet features big Turkish meze/salad bar and some additional options.

The bathroom has no functioning fan. The water pressure is unstable, which makes taking a shower difficult as it keeps jumping from the shower head back to the faucet. There’s no towel hook anywhere. So the only place to put your towels is above the toilet which isn’t sanitary.Asked the staff for additional few basic items and each time was met with a rough “no”. Can’t say the staff is friendly.

I really liked the location and also the staff, who were very friendly (the 3-Ms), whose names started with the letter M.The location was less than 1 min walk to the famous Istiklal Street and there we plenty of places to eat and shop around.Yet, inside the hotel and my room was very quiet to sleep peacefully.The staff was always eager to advice on local travel and local activities when asked and even made arrangements on some local activities.I took the bus from the Airport and also on the way back and I could walk to /from the hotel, via Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, from / to the Havaist bus stand.I will surely stay here when I return to Istanbul.

There was quite a variety of food at the breakfast buffet that I liked.Unfortunately, the items were not labeled and I did not learn the names or the contents of a number of the dishes. The kitchen staff spoke Turkish and I did not!I wish the hotel management would pay attention to this and describe the items, for those who are not familiar.

Location is central and very close to Istiklal street, just a minute walk away. Staff was helpful to accommodate your requests

Bathroom is small, breakfast very limited with no normal coffee, difficult to reach the hotel by car as it's located at narrow busy street

The size of the room was too small

Nice, new hotel with nice breakfast and very neer to Taksim.People working in hotel are very pleasent, great bathroom.and nice rooms with a small fridge.

The hotel is close to the istiklal Cd. ( the main tourist street) and Taksim square. From hete, it is convenient to go to the old town by public transportation. The breakfast is good, about 20+items to select. The staffs are nice and friendly. It takes about 15minutes walk to get to the airport bus station which is nice.

Location is convenient, good value for money. Our room was upgraded to a triple room and was available before check-in time, which we appreciated. WiFi worked fine.

No soundproof from other rooms and from the outside. We were on the first floor and heard noise during the night. Mattresses were a bit hard. Low lightning in bathroom.

Excellent location, elevator, good breakfast, good housekeeping service, renovated facilities, friendly personnel.

I like the location. The room was fine. 2 average single beds.

I could smell others smoking occasionally. Probably outside. This is extremely common in Turkey and not the hotels fault. The breakfast is large. Lots of options. But it is industrial, there's no love in the food.

The location is perfect and breakfast is decent

Too many noise from outside which was waking us up at nights and the duvet was small for a double bed.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the room was clean with a practical balcony. The location is excellent, right on Istiklal Street, one of Istanbul’s most popular destinations.

My only concern was the room size, as it was a bit small for us.
