Sirkeci Ersu Hotel & Spa

Not much except the prime location it is in

No ventilation- turned off by hotel due to high costs. Always cold No lift to the 7th floor- only up til 6th Same brake fast everyday- very poor selection Excess water on sinks are routed the bathroom floor- Always get your socks, trousers wet

the location is really good.

the staff was absolutely not helpful. room 601 should not be allowed to be rented to guests since the hotel knows that the "ventilation system" (for lack of a better word) of a next door restaurant runs basically all day and all night. very loud all night

Outstanding

I had a very pleasant stay at Ersu Sirkeci Hotel. The hotel is very good and has a perfect location, just 1 minute walking to Gülhane tram station and around 5 minutes to Sirkeci tram station or the Marmaray metro, which makes moving around Istanbul extremely easy. The value for money is excellent for such a central location. The room was small, but this is completely normal for hotels in the Old City. Most importantly, it was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of food, enough to start the day comfortably. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Barış for his outstanding hospitality, help, and support. He checked on us every day to make sure everything was fine and that we were satisfied, and he was always ready to help with anything we needed.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The wardrobe was a bit small; it would be great if a larger one could be provided.

- Good location - Friendly staff- Value of money - Good breakfast

- A bit warm in the room and air con is not working- the shower place is a bit too small, it get wet in the whole restroom after showering

Great location, staff had been very helpful. Breakfast was good! Can’t beat the price with all of the above great stuff!

Lobby lighting was a bit dark, but not affecting anything

Exceptional Location and Ambiance: The patio is a wonderful space to relax, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the sounds of the old city streets. The complimentary 24/7 tea and coffee service on the patio is a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.Stunning Rooftop Terrace: The terrace on the 6th floor is the ideal spot for unwinding and taking in the city, especially during the evenings.Substantial Breakfast: The solid breakfast menu offers enough variety and quality to fuel a full day of adventures.Outstanding Service: The receptionist, Baris, went above and beyond for us. Every request was handled with the utmost respect and urgency.Efficient Housekeeping: Whenever we requested room cleaning, it was completed promptly.

Poor Sound Insulation: Like most hotels in older buildings in this area, the sound insulation is lacking. If your neighbors are talking, you will likely hear the conversation. While the windows do a good job of blocking most street noise, sensitive sleepers should plan on bringing earplugs.

Excellent location, staff very friendly.

Rooms to small. Cleanliness can be much better.

Location, friendly helpfull staff, good breakfast

Internet was very slow

Good location

Smell of cigarette smoking is everywhere…the smell of sewage in the bathroom. Toilet flush is not working. Dirty room, unfriendly and rude staff. Never again and not recommended.

Everything is good. Especially the location is amazing, the heart of the city. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Next time if I come, I will consider staying here again.

Maybe the facilities in the washroom could be refurbished . Otherwise all good.

I didn't have breakfast, but excellent location.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

My room could have been bigger, but as I was traveling on my own, it was not a major issue.

Great location at great value.Very helpful staff, in the first room we checked in the heater was not working properly, the next morning staff checked it and helped to move us to another room, time of stay was mid February so it was very chilly in Istanbul at that time.Good breakfast included, consider a good price value, good local variety of olives, local cheeses, vegetables, eggs and different bread and condiment options.Wonderful turkish tea, hot drinks, drinking hot and cold water available 24/7.

As the stay was in mid February the rooms can get a bit chilly.Bathrooms have weak ventilation to grab moisture.

Did not get requested bedsBed terribleRoom too small to open our suitcasesBreakfast food cold and not replenished

Almost everything see above

The location was fantastic for walking all around Sultanhamet. The breakfast spread was fantastic.

The room was very small, which was mostly okay, but it was a bit cramped.

The staff is amazing, especially lady on the front desk who took very good care of us, as well as the rest of the stuff who were very helpful. Hotel is at amazing location, everything is near. Great breakfast is served every morning. Highly recommend.

Location is stunning, walkable to many tourist sites. Rooms are fairly small but was serviced every day. The breakfast is very basic and the same every day. The check in was early which was very nice.

The rooms could have been a little bigger.

Hotel is very good located , in the heart of the old town. Rooms are clean what for us was most importante , considering that almost every hotel in Istanbul have problem with cleanliness.Hotel personal was very kind and helpful , espetialy very nice lady Kristina.
