The Cettia Istanbul

Very helpful and friendly staff. Really loved the decor including lots of plants, old-world yet new feel, good breakfast, comfortable beds, very clean, great restaurants nearby, and amazing views of the city if you get an upper level room.

My only complaint is that the shower water temperature oscillated between too hot and too cold without touching the knobs at all. It didn't ruin the stay, but was mildly annoying.

The location is amazing, and the hotel itself is very nice. The staff were especially helpful with arranging taxis and getting around the city. Since we stayed with our cat, the hotel even provided food and water bowls along with a cozy pillow—very thoughtful! Special thanks to Elif, Samet, Eren, Mert, and Batu for going above and beyond for us.

Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff need more training. Each time they came to clean the room, some things were overlooked. On one occasion, the toilet paper wasn’t refilled, and they even removed our half-used roll. The floors weren’t cleaned until we specifically asked. Another time, they came in to clean but left our empty room service tray behind in the room.

The room wasn't clean, and we were asking everyday to clean it well , and despite them claiming that it is cleaned already, we find some dirt/hair on the floor. And they don't actually clean unless we inform them to do so. When checking in, I found a hair on the provided towels. I actually stayed in the hotel when the name was Marmara and it was good, It seems that the new management isn't taking care of the hotel/cleaniness.

We had a wonderful stay at Cettia. The breakfast buffet was great + fresh and worth the money. The housekeeping and reception staff was very very accommodating about requests. We were a family with two toddlers and had a very comfortable stay. Special thanks to Ufuk, Elif and Mert for being great hosts ensuring all our needs were taken care of. Will highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Istanbul. Great well-connected location, great staff and great facilities.

I booked the cettia in Istanbul to attend my graduation. The location was perfect. You can also use the metro station it connects most lines. The amenities and services are top notch. Overall, it was an amazing experience, the breakfast had a lot of varieties, service was fast and efficient, rooms were clean. The receptionist was accommodating to our needs for a bigger room. I’d like to thank Bahatun and Mert for their help with our luggage. The staff are kind and friendly. Thank you for being a part of my graduation day, it’s truly a day to remember. :)

It’s a good experience but the staff make it a great experience all of them nice specially ( from the reception Ufuk and from the staff ( batuhan and semit ) they are the best helpful and welcoming with the great smile if I will come back from them thank you so much specially Ufuk ??

My stay at Cettia Istanbul Hotel was overall pleasant. The hotel offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with well-maintained rooms and a convenient location for exploring the city. A special mention goes to Mr. Duran, Mr. Ufuk, and Mr. Batuhan, whose professionalism and helpful attitude made a positive impact on my stay. Their commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction was truly appreciated. The facilities were decent, and the service was attentive. While there may be room for improvement in certain areas, the staff’s dedication and hospitality made my visit enjoyable. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. They have a resident cat which made it a joy for me to see and pet her everyday.The breakfast is also good. I recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable environment. The staff were outstanding—especially Emir, Batuhan, and Tarkan, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. Services is prompt and good as first room toilet flush got issue. Moved to second room in an hour. When check-out , some mistake record made at snack bar consumption in first room but staff understand explanation of room change in late night and write it off. Location is central. Close to metro. Room is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is tasty.

With Milk Glass toilet doors, there is almost no privacy, even with your partner it is not pleasant. old style flush is really noisy especially at night. Walls are thin amd rooms are so close to each other. We were unlucky with noisy neighbours but we were able to hear even all their conversation.

Great hotel and great staff especially the service was wonderful. Mr. Hayri Mr. Serdar Mr Ferdi Mr. Enis was fantastic waiters and amazing service. Them all was so precious in order to deliver good service. No doubt I will choose this hotel again. The hotels lokation is super convinient!
