Poor wifi and the bathroom needed to be restocked with toilet paper without the guest requesting it.

It’s a fairly cheap place in a very good location in the touristy area of Istanbul. It’s very close to the metro and tram so you could practically go anywhere from here. They offer a buffet of breakfast everyday which is really good as it’s Turkish style. There’s a lounge upstairs where you can eat and relax. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

No lift. Cigarette smoke from street level waft into the reception area. Ladies’ dorm need to be scrubbed and cleaned out thoroughly

The stay was excellent. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, close to public transport and main attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always available when needed. The room was tidy and cozy, and the atmosphere of the hotel was calm and pleasant. The terrace was a big plus, with a really nice view. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

No electric elevator

We liked small terrace where wecould cime at night and drink all the tea we wanted before sleep. Breakfast was decent but enough for us

Some small issues could be ignored but we had to add 20€ more for another room with extra bed even in our reservatios was mentioned there are 2 adults and 2 kids, we got at first room with king bed only??? Like we paid for the standard room??? It was not possible for all us to be in one bed (kids almost 5 and 11)

The location was close to the metro and a few shops/pharmacys nearby. They did adjust the check in time for us which was very helpful. The morning breakfast was nice and offered a good selection of food. The staff were very friendly and kind (except for the hotel manager)

This hotel is clearly a very low-budget hotel but I would highly recommend you to spend a bit more and avoid it because it is not worth the meagre savings. The hotel has 5 floors with no lifts, if you're not able to regularly go up and down floors for the duration of your visit avoid this hotel (elderly/physically disabled/pregnant). Also, the staff do not know any English at all so make sure you have a translator ready on your phones.The front desk was a small table and when checking the hotel manager was trying to take pictures of our passport and when I confronted him he was displeased! It was clearly a breach of privacy! (I don't mind taking details as all hotels do but taking pictures was excessive)The rooms were filthy and there was no daily room service as you would normally expect from a hotel so the floors were not swept and the bedding was not changed once. There was also no sunlight coming through despite being on the bottom floor as there was a building blocking any views. The walls were very thin and literally made out of styrofoam which meant you could hear everything and there was no sound dampening and made it very difficult to sleep at night since you can hear everything from the front desk to the road cleaner on the streets.There was also mold growing in the upstairs room which was disgusting and a massive issue to health for anyone sleeping there!There were a few issues that happened during our stay with the weak bathroom showerhead falling apart, the shower doors not closing causing water to leak out of the shower room, and the curtains falling down. When I mentioned this to the hotel manager he was mad at me as if it was our fault. This is not the kind of service you expect from a hotel.The last straw that broke the camels back was when we were left without power from 3 am to 9:30 am. We could not sleep, could not use the toilet, could not shower. It was genuinely the worst hotel experience.

all others, the room to small the bathroom has a smell . I make a reservation for 3 people with my family, and we sleep in one double bed. My neck still hurts me

Good hotel in perfect location close to many shops and restaurants. Close to transportation like metro & tramway. Normal turkish breakfast

Four floors with no elevator

The location is unbeatable, excellent .

It doesn't have an elevator, it's a very simple hotel, but it's clean and the staff is friendly.

The location was great it was central to everything.

There are a lot of stairs to climb but the staff were great with helping carry bags up for me.

A bit small rooms and hotel. Need to care more about cleanliness of the sheets. It was dusty but it is ok and good value.

i loved everything! i was staying in a female 4-bed dorm, our dorm had its own shared bathroom with hot water (it worked really well). it was clean and very quiet in the room! the sleep is great there because the windows don’t overlook a busy street but at the same time the hostel’s location is really good, close to metro and city center ? win-win! but the terrace, oh, it is the most beautiful place for rest/work/having meals. Ali and Maya (the hosts) are such lovely people, Maya’s breakfasts are the best, it’s kind of a buffet, you have everything there: different cheeses, sausages, eggs (boiled and scrambled), fries, seasonal fruits (strawberries, apricots, watermelon, plums), veggies, coffee/tea/juices. also, Ali is so helpful. he really cares about people and jumps through the hoops to make their stay as comfortable as possible. i will recommend your hostel to everyone ? great value for the money!!!

Excellent stay. Clean and neat. Breakfast was good. Moreover, receptionist Baran was great for helping us personally. We will come back for sure!

Only issue was we got room at 4th floor. There was no lift so had to take luggage by steps. Thats fine its worth the money.

Finding the bulding in the street is difficult, Reception has to be a person who speaks English, Internet is not working except in front of reception,My reservation was written for the next day, while I was in hurry, I lost alot of time,no elevator too much staurs to upper floors, closet does not have any key, the bath's door was out of rail, my towel was ripped with disgusting smell of whitex, my roommate came at 3 in the morning and made alot of noises,...

I changed my room type and requested a private room. The owner was very helpful and kind, even though he didn't speak English; he did his best to assist me. The lady providing services was also very kind. Cleanliness was good, and the location is excellent—you can easily access all types of public transport.

If you have any difficulty for stairs, I don't recommend here as there was no elevator.
