DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Topkapi

Friendly and helpful staffs.

The room, pillows, carpet were very dusty and smelly. I was sick because of dust. Cleanliness shall be at priority as it is rated 4-5star hotel.

The hotel was clean and nice. The service was excellent.

The only thing I perhaps would say here is that it is a bit out of the way from the main attractions in around Sultanahmet area. Having said that, it suited me just fine.

It¿s too far away from city center. Cabs would demand 4-6 times metered rate because of ¿ traffic¿. There is also nothing around hotel forcing you to town. 3 times I complained about the a/c. Thermostats did t work. It was always too hot or too cold

Breakfast was nice.

The hotel is next to a cemetery. During breakfast, you will see some unpleasant view. The hotel location is sort of close to the main tourist attractions, but still it is a headache to get a taxi to and from the hotel to Sultan Mehmet and Taksim square.

The hotel staff here is great. They are so friendly and so kind. They go out of the way to make you feel at home. ¿¿¿¿

I wouldn¿t say locations is bad actually location is good not to far from the attractions and for the price I paid I would stay here over and over again. There¿s just not any grocery stores close by and sometimes a girl just needs some fruit lol

The stuff

I hated the room (no:205) being separated by a door from the next room. I had to listen to the noisy music the next door person listened to the whole night. This made me self conscious about everything. For a five-star hotel it was just disappointing.

The hotel is very clean. The guy who carried our bags in was super friendly. Young lad. even though he forgot to bring our water.

1. The reception staff were not friendly at all. 2. The hotel rooms are very thin. we could hear someone snoring as if they were in the same room with us.

Yes the hotel is in the middle of the graveyard , last day the air conditioning wasn¿t working I could not sleep . I had long flight that day back home . When I asked the reception they said that is major fault in the AC system it¿s not only your room

Staff was great on service

Housekeeping wasn¿t doing their job right , missing stuff in our room , supervisor have to check their job to make sure they doing it right or went are in the room which I found out obvious.

I was treated well and the staff checked on my status regularly

A/c never worked properly. Hotel was too far from the city making it a challenge to get a cab back.

Location

The room was pristine. The pool area is great.

They are help full

It's great

The back view from the window.

Smoking

The hotel is so far from everything so the money you use for transportations plus the time you spend on travelling equal any five star hotel in the city center.
