Sirkeci Mansion Hotel

Location & pleasant & helpful staff

The breakfast. Fruit was rotten and lunch meat was old

Okay and all the staff were totally welcoming and helpful and enabled me to see all the places I hoped to see and have all the experiences I hoped to have. Hotel outstanding close to old town sites, a block from tram and train, near good restaurants.

I hope to return.

The staff, location, and breakfast were all excellent

The hotel is in a very central location and the breakfast is plentiful and varied.

The staff are keen to sell trips which is fine if you require assistance but not after a long day travelling. We would have preferred a refreshing drink and a towelette. I also did not appreciate the additional charge for a cappuccino with breakfast.

Breakfast and the location.

Room size Expected large room and bathroom.

Fantastic location! You can walk to all the big sites. It is quiet too. Very safe, even for a woman alone. Istanbul is a city not to be missed. We will definitely come back and stay at the Sirkeci Mansion again -- Best place we have ever stayed at! Thanks

Everything was GREAT! Turkish breakfast was awesome -- huge selection of fresh, tasty pastries, meats, cheese, olives, fruit, plus fruit compotes, juices, honeycomb. Sirkeci even has a spa and hamman on site! The roof top patio is spectacular at sunset!

Location! Friendly staff, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, lovely breakfasts, fantastic spa (highly recommend the sultan's 90 minute treatments), and the fabulous veranda on our room overlooking the park.

The breakfasts had great variety and selections but we felt that the coffee was the ewesk link. It would've been nice to have cappuccino, etc. made to order.

Great location. The balcony was a lovely feature

When we compared prices with other comparable hotels in the area we found that this hotel was more expensive . We recommend that budget conscious travelers look at other options

location, friendly staff, cleanliness

We had to ask for an iron three times and got it the third time.

Excellent staff Exceptional location Great Breakfast Clean and Functional rooms. Went out of their way and kept our luggage two days prior to our stay. Good speed Internet

No complaints at all.

perfect location, clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and very helpful friendly staff

Hotel staff were very helpful with dinner recommendations, directions to particular sites (mosques, markets, shops). Also, as we planned to return in 2 weeks from warmer climates, the manager agreed to keep our warmer clothes in storage.

The house-keeping staff seemed a little inattentive at times. For example, two plates and utensils dirty with food remains were left in the hallway for a full day. A bin of linen -- some clean, some soiled -- were parked near the dirty plate for a day.

Staff was amazing and genuinely friendly and helpful. They went far beyond the usual to help us with airline tickets, restaurants, and other travel needs. They came outside to wave goodbye to us and that made me feel that we had become family.

I liked everything.

staff was outstanding

No. Everything met or exceeding my expectations.

Very nice staff and convenient locations.

Excellent staff and location

Hospitality from everyone at the hotel, they took such good care of us since arrival. The hotel’s free cooking class in the kitchen was awesome and made us felt like part of the family getting to know its regional foods. And the being local tour was so informative visiting mosques of cultural significance , local markets, and tasting freshly made simit and ice cream from shops where locals would go.Breakfast had enough rotations of meze, böreği and sausage based dishes to keep things interesting for our 5-night stay with good cheeses, deli meats, olives, fresh breads and assorted jams and even honeycomb spreads.Hotel was spotless from hotel room to common areas, and centrally located within 10 mins walk to Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and T1 tram is a few steps from the hotel while we are not directly on a busy street. View from hotel room was gorgeous overlooking the Gülhane park.

Beautiful and comfortable room, great shower, breakfast on point and the staff isAmazing! Okay was such a highlight to our first Istanbul visit and we learned so much! Definitely a great place and the location couldn’t be better, close to all places of interest but yet on a street somewhat secluded so no car traffic through, so excellent mix!

The fact that the hammam closed at 10pm which made it impossible for us to use it as we were on the go trying g to visit as much as we could.

Wonderful staff - especially the manager. Very service oriented. Loved the free tours and cooking class. Welcoming place. Great location near major sites and also very near a beautiful park. Highly recommend.

Room was a little small and stuffy. They have bigger rooms but prices are high in Istanbul so chose smaller one.

The roof top was great, spa area was nice, the staff was amazing and helpful :)

The smoky atmosphere made it difficult to sleep and I woke up with a sore throat every day
