Staff, location and cleanness

Breakfast was ok but some it the salads and vegetables weren't quite fresh

location was amazing

rooms were too small, very small infact pickup service from airport was too slow took an hour to get on our shuttle sink is too small

The facilities and the staff also the breakfast.

The room on the 4th floor with a large window looking out over the street and on to the historic burial ground across the street was lovely. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque, Archaeological Museum and the Bazaar, and right by the tram stop Cemberlitas. The staff at Reception are wonderful.

Everything was fine, no complaints.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the location of the place. The fact that it's situated right on the main road is a significant advantage. Plus, being so close to the Mosque of Hagia Sophia adds to its charm, and having the tram station next door is incredibly convenient for traveling around Istanbul.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at AHC Ayasofya. I found the room to be quite tiny, which made it challenging to store my luggage properly. While the space may be manageable for a solo traveler, it would be quite difficult for someone traveling with family.For future guests considering their options, I would not recommend this hotel for those traveling in larger groups due to the limited space.

The location and the staff are the two award winning elements of this hotel. Location-wise, you can walk to museums, monuments, restaurants, shopping, and public transport in minutes. The tram runs directly in front of the hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely sweet. They are the stars here.

Noise. You will not rest unless you are a supernaturally heavy sleeper. I use high grade ear plugs and still did not rest. The floors, walls, doors, and windows are not properly insulated. Therefore, you hear everything from your neighbors rooms, the hallway (cleaners start at 8:00am), upstairs, and the street. On New Year’s Day, a protest started outside at 6:00am. Obviously the hotel cannot control street noise, but I’ve stayed in hotels in loud neighborhoods where you heard nothing as soon as the windows were closed. Not here; you hear everything. There is no peace at all in the rooms and we went home exhausted. Spa: We did the hammam + massage special. The technician was so sweet and technically skilled. We loved both the baths and massages. What we did not like is that the massage room is below the restaurant. The entire time you are getting massaged, you hear furniture moving above and loud voices. Not a peaceful experience, which was a shame because the massage therapist is so sweet and skilled.

We stayed at AHC Ayasofya Hotel between 20 -25 December. This was my second visit to this hotel. I choosed the hotel for my previuos experiece which was Excellent. This time also the hotel met my expectations at the highest level. Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and ideally located near the main tourist attractions.The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I would like to say Special thanks to Shahin, Turgay, Semru and Arzu for their continious care and assitance which made us feel like at home. I would also like to mention the cleaning lady who served and keep our room in extremaly clean at 3rd floor. Also, Ali in the Hotel Restoran at 6th floor was very professional and helpfull in choosing the brilliant Turkish cuisine. Thank you all guys! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Toilet and shower facilitiies could be more isolated from the rooms.

Location, front desk staff very helpful, nice ambience, restaurants with views 6th and Ground floors.

6th floor restaurant has great views but is more for young people, slightly loud music & general vibe

It was a great location, we could easily walk to the old town and visit the mosques. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

We had a room on the 5th floor with a lovely view, unfortunately it was just under the restaurant and the noise from scooting chairs was quite loud. Perhaps they would consider adding felt pads to the chair legs.

They were warm, flexible, and genuinely professional, always ready to help with a smile. Their kindness made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.This hotel deserves more than five stars — it’s a place where grace, comfort, and true hospitality come together. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location , breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms, helpful and kind stuff

A bit pretentious but beautiful rooftop restaurant, also I travelled alone as a woman , front desk men always raked behind my back with a smirk in Turkish, you knew they always talk about you

Excellent location walking distance to main attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar and tram line. Fantastic breakfast, good restaurant with great rooftop view!! Helpful and friendly staff that have gone out of their way to assist us.

Room was on the small side.

The room design. Priority given to client comfort over common area grandiosity. I liked both restaurants. Breakfast was easy. Front desk staff were wonderful.

I lost a half a dozen items while staying at hotel. A metal fingernail file. My bright teal shower mitt and light green glove were caught up in the towels and never found. My laundry bag did notcome back with my laundry (a treasured solution of my traveling items for over 25’years). And two lightning cables and charger blocks which I noticed were not in my things after I left the hotel (I did not use them in the room, they were in my luggage, the pocket which was unzipped upon returning). This last item was realized after leaving hotel.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at AHC Ayasofia Hotel in September. The location of the hotel is very close to the most attraction, tram and shopping area. Hotel offers a good breakfast. The front desk team was very accommodating, polite, and friendly, and I would like to recognize all of them: Emrah, Turgay, Hakan, Ahmet, Neemettin and Mahsum-thank you very much ❤️ we will stay with you again!

Had a little trouble with the room key, but the front desk staff was quick to help.

Excellent location and staff. Good breakfast included. Very good value for the price.

This Hotel really fulfilled my expectations. The location (walking distance to the most of the historical locations) and the kind and helpful staff are something to emphasize :)I was very happy with the a diverse offer for breakfast, really everyone can find something for themself. I also liked the relaxed approach of staff during breakfast, we never felt that we need to rush.

First room that we got had an issue with the AC but once we informed reception about it, they were very helpful and moved us to other room where everything worked perfect.Thank you mr. Ahmed for your swift support :)

Location, location, location! On site or to amazing restaurants. The rooftop patio for dinner was incredible with the perfect sunset!The front desk staff, the Bellman, the food service staff went above and beyond to make us stay as enjoyable as possible.
