Adora Hotel

My experience at the hotel was very good. This is the second time I've booked there, and their service is excellent and professional, especially Mr. Edip and sevinc.

The location was very close to the main attractions in Sultanahmet. Despite the reviews here, I actually liked the breakfast. It had more options than I expected. The restaurant offers a discount to their hotel guests.

The hotel room had seen better days. The shower head won't stay put.I had one weird interaction where I was chased down to the elevator because they didn't think I was a guest. It wasn't unpleasant or anything and I understand it could be for safety reasons but it's the only time it has occurred to me.

Location is perfect - close to Blue Mosque and Eminönü, tram #1 bus stop is just round the corner. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very simple but sufficient and fresh.

I stayed once in Adora hotel 4 years ago but since then the facilities were not changed for the better. Broken furniture, non-working lamps, running water in the toilet, broken shower door. It's quite dirty now - spots are all over the place.

In Old town, close to shopping and the Grand Bazaar. Very helpful and courteous staff. They went out of their way to help with tours and transportation.

The smell of cigarette smoke, but it so prevalent in Turkey. Nothing they can do about it.

I really appreciated the hotel's location, which was very convenient, and the staff were very friendly. However, the cleanliness could be improved -- there was some dust in the room. The bed was correct and comfortable overall.

On the first day when we entered the room , the bathroom light was broken. We were so tired so we just wanted to rest. The staff told us it would be fixed the next day, but it never was. I really don't appreciate being told something that isn't true.

Location is the main thing here. It is steps away from Gulhane tram station, which connects to the metro. It is minutes away from the Spice bazaar and hundreds of surrounding stalls and places to eat. Breakfast is simple but enough.it has 3 kinds of cheese, boiled eggs, hotdogs and fries, a variety of honey and jam, olives, watermelon and yougurt..we started our day on a full stomach. The mini fridge and air conditioner worked very well, and so did the lift.

Since this is one of the least expensive hotels in a prime location, then we should not expect luxury. The bathroom needs an upgrade, with the cracked sink and wobbling toilet seat, one feels it can be better. But it is clean, towels changed daily and toilet paper is added everyday.if you want basic luxury, then this is not for you. If you want a clean, small and convenient room, then go ahead and reserve a room bearing in mind that the double is really tiny, and the bed sheet hardly covers 2 people, so book a twin instead. We were out all day, and were glad to be so close to the tram station. We hardly spent time in the room since there is no chair, so you only have the bed to sit on. All in all, its a good deal .

It was very nice, the staff is so polite and ready to help you, the room is a bit small but cute and the location is very good!☺️

I stayed for one night and really enjoyed my experience! The room was clean and cozy, the location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. I especially want to highlight Muhammad, who was extremely polite, helpful, and professional. Thank you for the excellent service!

Room was very dirty. Location was great and breakfast also. I think I paid overpriced. I won’t suggest this place to anyone.

The hotel has a very good location, just 3 minutes on foot from the tram stop and less than 15 minutes walking distance from the Blue Mosque, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing in Istanbul.

However, the breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was extremely limited, and the same few items were served every day. Some of the products were stale and clearly not fresh, which really affected the overall experience.

The location is good, but there are many better and cheaper hotels with good conditions around.

The room price is expensive, so I expected the same conditions. But the room was very small. There were even some toilets that were not cleaned at all. There were a lot of dusty areas. There is no daily cleaning service. Of course, I cannot recommend this room to you.

The location is near metro and meddle of old market and sea side it clean and nice staff

The staff was very kind and helpful. Location is excellent. The room and the bathroom were clean.

I wanted to have a light dinner at the hotel one night. I ordered sarma (210 TL) and eggplant salad (120 TL). By mistake the waiter brought me Humus (200 TL) instead of the eggplant salad. I said it was OK but wanted the eggplant salad as well. In total 530 TL. I also had two teas. You know , the tea brought in those small glasses, the Turkish way The waiter showed me on his small computer that I had to pay 700 TL. I paid but told the manager that this was too expensive and that I was overcharged. Initially, the manager said that I also had two teas, which is true. But can two teas cost 170 TL? Usually they are given for free, especially at guests of the hotel. And I was also a guest of Adora Hotel. Then the manager said that the overcharge was tax. Probably, this is how they fool American tourists. In the USA the tax is added to the price, in Turkey, in Europe the tax is included in the price. If a pen, costs - let us say - 10 TL, you pay 10TL. Nothing is added. As I expressed my surprise, the manager said he would give me two baklavas. I turned them down as I do not like sweets. Finally, I paid 700 TL for three appetizers and left to my room very upset. I would have given the waiter a tip anyway, but I do not think the waiter should have taken his tip by himself. Fantastic Customer Service, well mannered staff, great location. In a nutshell shell everything was great. Thanks for giving us a good atmosphere at ur place.

My second time staying here. Great location. Close to tram stop. Just 2 min walk. Various choice of breakfast. Helpful staff especially Appu willing to put us on the same floor upon our request. For sure will stay here again when come to istanbul.

The localisation was great and the staff was very friendly. Having a restaurant downstairs was also a big plus. The room was clean (cleaned everyday) and the breakfast was decent.

The room was relatively small and sometimes there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.

I didn’t like the breakfast very much it’s the only negative point in the hotel i wish they make a better variety menu
