Location, cleanliness, staff, brilliant breakfast.????????

The hotel's location is excellent

The images shown to me in the listing were very clearly not the room that they gave us when we went there. The room in the images was just fake. The hotel was very dirty and definitely not even close to a 4 star hotel as their listing suggests.

Good location

The hotel room was in the basement it smelled like mold and the bathroom was gross. Overall would not recommend. Would consider other hotels in old town

The location was excellent, walkable neighborhood and near historical sites. It is also close to public transport.

The room was super small. We could barely walk in the room. The bathroom and shower was smelly and not clean.

Hotel Golden Horn (Sirkeci) is the great place to stay. Very convenient location on quiet street. Great service! Special thanks to hotel managers, room service, food manager and his staff.

Breakfast and midday snacks were the best!

They told us our room was in basement with no windows and then charged us an additional 50 dollars to move the room to the first floor. The door to the room had a huge gap and we heard EVERYTHING going on at all hours of the night. Highly frustrating!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

I reserved a suite with a sea view, they gave me a regular room without a view.

Everything was amazing. The hotel is clean and rooms are soundproof. Breakfast is tasty and staff is very friendly. I want to say thank you to Seckin Kaya who was very friendly and helpful at the breakfast area and for two receptionists, unfortunately i didn’t get their names, the one who did check-in for my mum and helped them while i was not there and the one who did check-in for my room was also friendly.

I highly recommend this hotel. Everything was perfect and rooms are soundproof. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially Seckin Kaya was very helpful and friendly at the breakfast area and I want to say thank you for a help for receptionist who did check-in for my mum and grandmother for room 301 and helped them a lot and for a receptionist who did check-in for my room! thank you!

The staff are extraordinary, nice and welcoming thank you Taleb for your amazing hospitality. Additionally for the cook he was super nice l.

It is clean and tidy

The Hotel location was very good. Walking distance to Grand bazzar and Sultanahmet. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly specially Mr. Seckin Kaya who was fantastic and took a good care of us.

The rooms are not as quality as you see in the photos. Although the managment was nice enough to upgrade my room after complaining, to one of their Suite, in my opinion, with current condition it should not be considered a 4-star.

We liked the location, the atmosphere and the kindness and helpfulness of staff. To begin with, we arrived before check-in time, but they gave us a room upgrade and breakfast as well. We were absolutely flattered by the kindness, it was real “reception” :). Breakfast was always fantastic so a big thanks to Seckin Kaya the manager and his team, we enjoyed every bit, and the turkish coffee as well. We were at the place with our 2 year old daughter ans we loved every second of our stay.

The place is older, so do not be surprised that the rooms do show some age, but it’s still perfect and comfortable.

Seckin Kaya, the manager at the breakfast buffet was amazing. He was very caring, had great customer service and took care of us very well. He was there for anything we needed

The rooms were a bit small and they didn’t have any tissue boxes in the room and did not supply any

The hotel is in the old city with many attractions at reach by foot. For a family of 4 the room are small but comfortable, the restaurant is classy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We served delicious breakfast and every time we got a turkish coffee on the house. On the last day the staff prepared us 4 sandwiches to go for our way home ( we were traveling by personal car). Thanks for this lovely stay. We'll definitely be visiting soon!

The light switches were not intuitively placed and wired, but our kids were of help here.

Good location. Many thanks to Mr. Seckin Kaya, who made the breakfast an awesome experience. The turkish ,,kahvesi" was flavourful and the parking was also great(in front of the hotel)! The staff was very nice and helpful.

Room is very congested,we couldn’t breathe properly

Staff were very kind friendly and helpful. Especially Hagreddin and Seçkin who made breakfast a joy. They were always ready to answer questions and offered to make us something else if there was nothing in the buffet we liked. This never happened because the variety and quality of Turkish breakfast options meant we always found something we liked. The breakfast area was lovely. Our room was comfortable and everywhere was spotless every day. All that and a 5-10 minute stroll to The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and so many other places, made this hotel hard to beat.

Booking said there were ironing facilities in our room, but there weren't, though the housekeeping staff were very efficient in finding me an iron to use

The hotel has excellent location and free parking! Thank you for the hospitable staff. We especially thank Mr. Seckin at the breakfast for polite services. Housekeeping was also great.
