Location was great and staff was extremely helpful. Lalid, Zia and their staff were very helpful and co-operative. Breakfast was good too.

Rooms and bathrooms were tiny compared to the US.

The hotel was clean and close to everything. The staff was super nice.

We had a room with a balconey overlooking the sea and it was a nice size and had a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The location was excellent, just a few blocks from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cistern. We walked a lot of our stay.

Location is wonderful! Close to many historic buildings in a walking distance. We got a sea view room and the view was spectacular. The staff were friendly and very polite. The welcoming Turkish tea/coffee was a plus! They even brought fruit to our room. Definitely come back to this hotel:)

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable, we were upgraded to family suite. Location is amazing, close to most of the spots and tram station. Really appreciate staff for making late checkout arrangements. Made our day. Staff was really helpful. Lots of eating joints nearby which are open till late, so if you are checking in late, dont worry about going hungry for the night.

Beds could have been more comfortable.

Hotel Historia Istanbul is a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent, close to all major attractions yet peaceful. The staff are extremely accommodating and genuinely friendly, always ready to help. Cleanliness was immaculate throughout the hotel. Breakfast was a highlight – fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Istanbul.

The size of the room were very small

Clean and comfortable rooms, very welcoming and helpful staff. Really good breakfast. Excellent laundry service. Relatively quiet at night despite being at the center of everything. Close to a lot of attractions in Sultanahmet. Great restaurant in front of the hotel with excellent food and staff: Rainbow.

Wi-Fi tends to disconnect sometimes.

Nice ocean view, outstanding breakfast with lots of choice. Few minutes by walk to all attractions. Small room than most hotels so don't expect rooms like USA.

Only one outlet in the bedroom which makes it difficult to connect electronic devices. Good advise to bring a multi plug adopters.

Delightful hotel in a great location. We had a room with a lovely view over the water. We walked to all the sights in Sultanahmet. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast good.

The staff is very kind. Hotel is cozy and clean. Great location near the touristic places and restaurants. Quite at night. It's was a really nice stay. Definitely I recommend this beautiful hotel and I will back for sure.

Breakfast was great. Loved the salads and greens for breakfast. Staff and Reception were friendly and helpful. Location was great with the bazaar and restaurants right at our doorstep. We would stay here again and recommend.

Some fruit could have been cut up or a sharper knife available so we could cut up the nice oranges/pears. It was just a bit difficult to use the bread knife.

Prime location, we never needed to take a taxi. Also very cosy for the unpredictable weather. I liked that the room could accommodate 4 of us. Staff could not have been lovelier.

It’s a little dated. Beds aren’t really comfortable. The hairdryer is really loud and hot.

Little cozy hotel in the center of Istanbul. Rooms are small, but tidy and have all basic stuff you need if you are for a short stay and not intending to spend a lot of time in the room. Fridge, complimentary water, bathtub (!), decent size balcony.

Breakfast is very scarce.

The location was really close to all attractions in sultanahmet. 8 mins walk to blue mosque and hagia sofia square. you dont need taxi or public transport to go to many of the attractions like topkapi palace, hagia sofia, blue mosque, cistern basilica. Grand bazaar, bhosporous ferry rides, galata tower, are just a tram ride away. Breakfast was amazing. Had a wide range of options in the breakfast, really enjoyed it. Staff is really nice and helpful. Stayed here again after 8 years. Nothing changed about the property from breakfast to rooms. It can be a good thing or a bad thing... depends on how you look at it :)

It's an old property so has a bit of a character to it. The rooms furniture could be updated a bit.
