Pros +
- The location was good for tourist attractions.
- Central location, only a few minutes walk to grand Bazaar and blue mosque. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, there was 2 young men in reception that were very helpful with everything we needed, Ugar was one of them but I didn't catch the other guys name unfortunately. And the lady doing housekeeping Sakine done a fantastic job everyday, she is such a beautiful lady that couldn't do enough for us to ensure we were comfortable during our stay.
- The location is very good, 3-5 minutes walk to the tram station and the old city.
Cons -
- The late night reception staff were awful. I checked in at 1am and they told me I had to pay cash, which I didn't have on me. They threatened to cancel my booking, which is so unprofessional and abhorent when you consider I am a solo female and it's 1am. I could pay by card, but again they said they'd cancel my booking. Eventually they accepted my card payment but charged me 20 more Euros. I would not stay here again.
- The decor needs updating.
- The breakfast is very poor, even basic Turkish breakfast foods (melemen, börek, etc.) are not provided. There was a family living in the lobby, they sat there all day, talking and eating. The neighboring rooms and the corridor are always very noisy and the hotel does not take any measures about it. Sometimes at 2 am there is loud music coming from the rooms and lobby. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel and they stop you and advertise their food.

Location is good - almost at the heart of Istanbul - near Blue Mosque, tramp station Semberlitas (but mind steep road) A lot of local restoraunt and cafe
The place was clean and very convenient for public transport. The staff were very good and polite.
Ömer and Devrim were excellent at the front desk. They were very helpful and accommodating. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived, but they immediately upgraded me to a better room and apologized for the inconvenience. I only stayed for 19 hours during my layover, but their kindness made a big difference. Thank you so much!
Everything was very good! I’ll go back. Thanks
Location is within walking distance to Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Breakfast was great with selection of local delicacies. The restaurant in-house served very nice food as well. Staff was very friendly.
It is a little old so you get the facilities that look dated. But nothing to complain about.
Hi, I had bad experience ever through all my life traveling, I’m traumatized by this experience. When I arrived at the hotel at 5:30 P.m they apologized to me that I have no room for my reservation and the room booked for me need some maintenance, and they need to send me to another hotel to have a room for 24 hours and then transfer me back to my room ,they said there is cooperation between those two hotels, acutely I agreed to go because I were tired from the flight,One guy from reception called a taxi and ride with me to take me to the other hotel,The shock is that there is no one on that hotel literally no one there and the guy with me open the main door himself ,he took my bag the the roof room ,,,It was really frightening and. frustrating to excel me to empty hotel .Of course I refused to stay in that hotel So we went back walking damaged my bag in the way back to Golden Crown Hotel and they gave me room with triple bed at the golden crown hotel. They did mention any time for the breakfast till the 3 day.
The Management, although they can solve this issue better if i payed at the property.
staffs are all nice & helpful. nice location, close to everything- attractions, stores, restaurants
Absolute Gem of a location. All major attractions within walking distance. The room sizes are good and so is the room service and cleaning. Breakfast is mind blowing. Extended beyound the given timeline.
I would especially like to appreciate to Ms. Şevval the way she provided support in a professional manner, both at the hotel and throughout our stay. She cooperated fully, even with tourist destinations. She is doing her job exceptionally well and is a great asset to the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, and the location was fantastic, with easy access to metro stations and famous destinations like the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque and G grand bazaar Istanbul
Lift need to manage or replae
Spacious. The breakfast is good as well the staff. Location of the hotel from major tourist sites is a plus.
The hotel is on a slope so you have to walk uphill every time. The room doesn't have windows on the street. The backyard isn't pleasant. The hotel is too old. They cut corners for so-called environmental reasons. Like, you have to use the key card to turn on the electricity. In the hallway, you walk in the dark until you reach the sensor that turns the lights on. This is the first time in my life to see beds in a hotel without comforters. This cannot be a three-star hotel.
The staff were really good. Melisa Güler and rest of the team provided a wonderful service.
Its nothing like compared to the photos online. In reality the condition of the property is very poor. The property was way below our expectation. Its not a 3 star hotel. We could have gotten similar room for less price. But the photos deceived our expectations. Also the AC was not cooling enough
Everything was all right, just we were leaving early morning and we asked for breakfest package. Package was promised to us and they told us to pick up next day at 6am when we were about to leave the hotel. Next day the package was not prepared and they told us that there is no one to do it.
Great location and spacious rooms—perfect for a family of four. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. Breakfast was decent and satisfying. Big thanks to Mohammed for accommodating us.
Location is goodStaff are helpful Breakfast is small but goodTerrace restaurant guys are very hardworking & offering good tasty food.
All good no complaints
Staff was cooperative and caring specially muqadas, malaisya, noor , Muhammad all were helpful
Air conditioner in room was not working properly and my children had disturbed sleep
It was a great stay. Although the room and bathroom were a bit small, they were still nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. I found the hotel manager especially impressive — polite, fluent in English, and extremely supportive. It’s rare to see so many good qualities in one person. Likewise, the housekeeper, Sakina, was cheerful and helpful.Thank you all for making my stay enjoyable!
Location Helpful staff especially people at reception
Breakfast was ok but not that great.
Located at the core of main Istambul's attractions, At 3 minutes walk from main avenue and tramway stations. Within walking distance from Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, the Egyptian Bazaar and many more. Hotel staff are very helpful and kind. Excellent Turkish style breakfast. Large room and good bed. Reliable wifi connection.
Complicated to arrive if you need to get by car/taxi at the door, because the narrow streets in this area are prone to traffic jams. AC outlets located at odd places. Good natural light in the room, but with no view to the city.
