TEVETOGLU HOTEL

Poor service. Unprofessional staff. Dirty and smelly room. Avoid!

Sadly, it was really dirty! I can’t imagine that a 3-star hotel could be this dirty and disappointing.

The cleanliness, lighting, and soundproofing were poor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay.The hot water in the shower was really good.

When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. I was very surprised by this question because I know that the law in Turkey prohibits smoking in closed areas. I asked for a non smoking room, but the smell in the room was as if someone was smoking one cigarette after other just inside of my room. And the same smell was everywhere: in the hallway, in the elevator, in the lobby. I stayed 10+ hotels in Instanbul and this is the first time I had this annoying experience.There is no noise isolation at all. If you want a good night rest, this is a bad choice. You can hear everything what happens not only in the anjoingning rooms, but all the floor and even the elevator. You can not only hear the noise, but every single world people are saying to each other.There was no real down just something like a thin bedcover. I had to put on a sweater and my pants because I was so cold during the night.These were the major points, but the small ones are not helping tbe overall picture:- the room was clean, but there were someone's hairs on the floor in the shower- there is a kettle in the room with tea, but you don't have a socket nearby. - the blackout curtains are too short for the window and people from neighboughood can see everything- there is no real coffee for the breakfast, just nescafe instant coffee or 3 in1

we were staying to pick up an late night flight back home. Nearest to Airport. Reception Staff was friendly and allowed for late night check in at 2 am. based on request she also allowed for late check out. There are nearby restaurants and the cost is less than what is in tourist destinations

the sofa and other items are not that clean. need some attention on the cleanliness of the bed and sofas.

Its location from Sabiha Airport

I stayed in what you could call a “suite” with two rooms — technically, a bedroom and a living room (which oddly had two beds and a sofa ?‍?). There was only one air conditioner, placed in the bedroom, and apparently it was expected to cool the living room as well. Translation: you couldn’t close the bedroom door ?. Which makes me wonder… why even have a door? ?As for the beds in the living room — total disaster. Every tiny move made them squeak so loudly it was impossible to sleep!

Very good location for the airport (6 minutes by taxi and costs 175 liras). Nice gym, table-tennis and restaurant. The included breakfast was very good with a fairly wide selection of dishes, salads and a dessert at the buffet (7.30am to 10.30am). The foyer and hallways are very smart and modern, 4 star I'd say. The room itself has a modern renovation and is very clean, bathroom really smart and glittery with a great shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi works well and is fast.Furniture and carpet in the bedrooms is getting a little dated though.

Location was just roughly 5 min by car from Sabiha Airport which was the primary reason I chose it.

The fact that hotel did not provide toothpaste when asked for it. I expected that could be the least to provide when asked for

How friendly and supportive staff they have. Very clean bed, sheets and toilet. Very close to day to day shops.

Hotel condition is not the best. For example, missing a door shower and leaking shower head does not help. I am supposed to have a taxi back to the airport but this was not available though it was not expensive. Compensated by accepting me early morning not waiting for the check-in time ?

Very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. Hotel is by taxi 5 min away from SAW airport. Comfortable bed, quite, good breakfast.

Only location near the airport

They received an extra money for the early check in (at 04:00 a.m.) and around 16:00 at the same day they knocked at my room and told me that this is time for check out. I was wondered because the room was booked from my side till the next day 11:00 am check out time. First 5 minutes they tried to explain me that they count a night from 04:00 am till 16:00 like a whole 24 hrs day. And after I showed them my booking and additional payment for early check in, they confirmed that it was their mistake and they put in their hotel system wrong dates, or staff like that. English knowledge is 0. Only reception can speak.

Quiet

The elevator was out of order and I had problems to find the exit to the lobby when taking the stairs. The property was good.

The staff were very polite, kind and helpful (despite the fact that we checked in quite late). The rooms were large, clean, and very luxurious, and there was a wide variety of delicious items at breakfast. There was even an attached room to the main one with a double bed, dresser and mirror. I highly recommend this place to everybody.

I spent just one night before moving to Istanbul city center (Europe side). I was very warmly welcomed, the room was very clean and comfortable. Good value for the price.

Great location for short stayover. Comfortable bed and ample bath.

Fixtures and details need some repair.

Wifi did not work the whole time, breakfast was very basic, door did not open because it did not work

I recently stayed at the TEVETOGLU HOTEL in Istanbul for a short visit and found it to be a practical choice for a brief stay, especially if you’re looking to be near Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The location is one of its main highlights, as it offers easy access to the airport, which is convenient for travelers needing a quick stopover.The room I stayed in was fairly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise and gave a nice amount of comfort. The breakfast, though not overly elaborate, was decent, and offered enough to start the day on a good note.

The room had a noticeable smoky smell, which may not be ideal if you’re sensitive to that. Additionally, the hotel does not have its own restaurant, which limits late dining options. This can be slightly inconvenient if you arrive late or want to have a meal in-house after hours.

Just the location

Not clean at all and smells terrible, the staff also are not friendly, we entered the room for the first time to find the toilet has been used and not flushed, the air conditioner sounds terrible

Proximity to Airport

Room was not clean.Shower door missing on one side and falling off its rail on the other side.

Breakfast was awesome friendly staff too.

Bed and sheets could have been more thick.Should have a bed cover and not just a sheet. 2 more pillows. And of course the AC, it's set-up on top of the bed so.the water's dripping on the bed have to.adjust my head to.theres no drip.
