The heating was on +50 degrees when entering the room. Luckily it was cooler after turning the radiators off. All the shops selling food / restuarants were overpriced in the area

The hotel it's around 200-400m from Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and Blue Mosque. Very frienldy hosts, ready to help and to give useful info. The room was big, clean and warm, the breakfast was very nice. Near the hotel you have many places to go and eat. The hotel is in the area where you can be picked up for excursions to Prince's Island or Bosphorus. In the event that the power is going down the hotel has it's own generator. The WiFi was good. We had a very nice experience and I recommend this hotel.

The location is great since it is only a one-minute walk from where the airport shuttle bus drops you off. For some reason Google Maps had me walk around several blocks that took 7 or 8 minutes, but then on the second day, I found that if you just walk through the parking lot, the hotel is just around the corner. The staff was very friendly and accommodated me when the heating unit in my room did not work. It was a minor glitch, and I would highly recommend this hotel. The included breakfast was very good. Not only were there warm hard boiled eggs, but also plenty of vegetables to eat.

Side Hotel is very well located. If you want to stay close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, or Topkapi Palace, this is a great choice.

However, water bottles should be provided in the room. The room size could also be a bit larger.

My experience at Side hotel was wonderful. Starting with the nice welcome by the staff and their suggestions for the best experience. The location is very convenient as you are a few steps away from the main historical buildings.

The location was excellent, only minutes to the main attractions. The breakfast was very good. We especially appreciated the staff who were friendly, respectful, and helpful.

The staff was amazing, Unfortunately I don't know the names of the guys at the front desk. All were very friendly, professional and helpful. Emre is the only name that I can remember but all of them were excellent.

I did not like the bathrooms, almost no space between the toilet and the shower, bearable but uncomfortable.

The Front desk was always there, friendly & helpful throughout my visit. Restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Room was clean and very adequate for my needs. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor and was a Turkish twist on the European continental breakfast. Plenty of coffee, tea and drink options. Lots of bread, cheese, fresh vegetables, hard boiled eggs, etc. A good start to the day.

Nothing comes to mind. The only issues might be that the breakfast room is on the 3rd floor and requires a walk up. Not an issue of rme but some people may be challenged.

Great location from shops, bars, not too busy on the streets, easy walk to big park and sites.

The staff were great. Always at the desk 24/7 wiling and almost disappointed if you didn’t have something for them to assist with. Great guys, (please forgive any spelling mistakes) Emre, Aunusmre, Fukan, Erendy, and of course all those that cleaned during the day I didn’t get a chance to meet personally.

This trip I was a solo traveler, so perfect. When my travels, we must have a king sized bed, which the property lacks. But if I get to come alone again, I will definitely stay here at Side.

Location couldn’t be better; friendliest staff, delicious breakfast spread and easy check in. Really appreciated being able to leave my bags behind while out and about for the day.

The staff are very helpful which is always the difference between good and bad accommodation. The room I stayed in was basic but clean - that was all I needed as the majority of the days were spent away from the hotel. PS - the Palatium restaurant two side streets away was sensational for ambience, food and underground ruins visible through glass platform.

Breakfast provided on third floor which may be difficult for some to get to as no lift in hotel.

This is our second stay the the Side Hotel and we are certain that it won't be the last. We hadn't been back for 15 years so one never knows if things have changed in the meantime. In the best of ways, the Side Hotel is as it was years ago. Clean, comfortable and with a wonderful location...all of old Istanbul is outside your door! The staff are great with a particularly shout out to Emre and Furkan whose friendly faces greeted us warmly upon arrival and upon each return to the hotel. The substantial breakfast buffet is served on the terrace with lovely views of the Bosporus, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. WIFI and A/C worked well and we had a small refrigerator in our room. Until the next time....

The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful, the location was ideal, and everything was clean.

The breakfast was ok but can improve, the rooftop wasn't really accessible as promised and there was a lot of building noise next door. But I certainly don't blame the hotel for that!

construction is ongoing behind the wall,breakfast is very basic, no elevator, due to frequent power cut the emergency generator working with vibration and noise,shower room outdated.
