Great location, friendly staff. The shower had great pressure and was very hot. Nice after a long flight.

Excellent hotel. Location is superb?five minute walk to tram, and less than 12 minute ride to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Hotel is in a premium hotel district. Beware: one side of the hotel overlooks a busy restaurant street. Fantastic staff.

The location was so nice.

I didn't like ignoring providing me with a curb although they did put it in the first room that was at the very far end of the hotel. I requested changing that room as it was very far for the kid. They changed the room but that was the end of their good service at that point. Although they know that I needed it and it was there in that old room with no one benefiting from it they decided not to consider moving it to the new room. The new room has no view and it's bathroom sink was clogged.

The price absolutely very high for such old hotel. Staff at reception, at lobby, security are not welcome and too cold, the cleaning is not something Wow, forget to clean some parts of the room. A lot of tiny disturbing actions from reception stuff: it seems that they always worried that we would not pay for minibar or laundry

It is close to galat port also .

It’s expensive rate also the parking charge 12 € .

Perfect travel moods destroyerThis place wears down your travel vibe. Avoid at all cost. I regretted not checking the negative comments.Hotels under Accor group in general give me good impression. This one is the outlier, in a bad way.The hygiene, service, and quality are simply eye-opening. Negative comments you find (noise, dirty public area etc.) are surprisingly all true.The concierge lacks basic work ethics. One day my wife and I were not feeling well in the morning, so we didn't leave the room until afternoon. We put the cleaning sign on the door handle, but no one cleaned the room after we came back.When we asked to have our room tidied up, the concierge made quite a few in consistent excuses (e.g. contractors are off.)When asked about more details, concierge started pretending not understand English. The conversation ended.I suspect they simply refuse to clean as many rooms as possible, as trays and trash are all around the corridor.The trash remained there even after late night.Naturally we'd like to find a pharmacy. When asked if there's pharmacy still open that day, they pointed to me one that had already closed. And we didn't realized that until I arrived.It took nearly 1 hour for the round trip.Later from other local people we realized this can be easily done by searching through Eczane's website, and there were pharmacies that were still open when we were at the wrong one.Had they pointed out the correct information, I at least could have bought the proper medicine.The property maintenance is very poor. the air conditioning is completely broken. It heated the room so much to the extent that it was intolerable. The only way to cool down the room is to open the door to the balcony, which required you to sign a waiver to unlock.Even so, at night you either suffer from malfunction heating system, or risk your personal safety leaving that door open.

Very clean and the staff are very friendly and the location is AMAZING. But it’s an old hotel and furniture that really needs to be changed

The location was perfect. Staff were good

The pillows were so hard, couldn’t sleep the first night. I had to ask the receptionist to get me a soft pillow, they did. We took 3 rooms & all of us we had the same problem with the cleanness of the room. Everything was dusty. They should focus more on that.

I don't trust this hotel. I booked a four-wheel drive vehicle, and on the day I arrived at the hotel, while I was still on the plane, my reservation was canceled due to the hotel being full. I had paid five days in advance and they were monitoring my booking. My trip was a disaster because of them and Booking.com.

Noise, pollution, and smoke, and the hotel is not new.

Lobby

The rooms are not clean as expected. Carpeting in hotel dirty. The only place that looks decent is the lobby. The room don't have a decent view.

Great staff. Great breakfast with a good view. Ideal for getting on our cruise.

Breakfast was great but pricey.

Breakfast buffet was unbelievably good. Worth staying there just for that. The restaurant is 1st rate. Excellent meals there.

The staff are exceptional. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and kept asking if I had everything I needed. Breakfast was fabulous.

Low lighting in bathroom. Also that was the only mirror in the room.

Suite was spacious and location was great

For a 5 star I didn’t expect damage on the ceiling. Hair dryer doesn’t work in bathroom needs plugged in living area. Disposal coffee stirrers instead of real spoon. Had to ask front desk several times for something as they forget or only bring one item of the 2 requested. Front desk didn’t call for our taxi to airport as we requested night before and morning of. They waited for us to show up to leave to call. Waited over 15 minutes for the taxi. Not 5 star service at all. Also suites have a nespresso machine yet seems front desk has never heard of that word when you ask for capsules odd for 5 star. Staff needs more training they should know their establishment

Excellent customer service from the staff - from front office, house keeping and room service. We arrived very late (past midnight) due to extreme traffic and were warmly welcomed by Valur Aslan. We checked in online so we were given our rooms cards straight away which was a pleasant experience given how tired we were from traveling and sitting in traffic for more than 2 hours. Check out was past and efficient too.I had to work for nearly half a day during our stay and the Archer coffee shop provided a great ambience! They made me feel better for working on my holiday! Special shout out to Enes who was extremely accommodating and friendly!!! ???The house keeping staff that cleaned our room (sorry forgot your name sir!) was very meticulous and even checked if we needed additional items in our room. I offered a small tip for his excellent service but he refused the money which is very refreshing. I had a late night craving for a menemen (Turkish breakfast meal) and Mohammed (I think) from the room service said he will convince the chef to prepare one just for me and he delivered! The breakfast spread was amazing - great option and very sumptuous! I looked forward to waking up every morning even with very little sleep! The view from the restaurant was something else too - breath taking!Location was excellent too! It's a short walk to Galata Port, Tophane metro station and Karakoy Ferry Port. Loads of great restaurants, bars and pubs nearby! If you're after night life but apprehensive about safety, no need to fear, the hotel is nestled around great party places and is next to the police station! The hotel is also walking distance to The Kiliç Ali Paşa Hamami (traditional Turkishj hammam and massage center) which is a must try - a bit pricey but an unparalleled in terms of experience.

No view from our room (but perhaps it's our fault for penny pinching). A male therapist in the spa will also be a good addition.
