nice staff, location, and price

small room, not very clean

Location was great. Taxi to airport was 47 euros. The staff arranged a taxi for us to return to the airport. We took a metered airport taxi to the hotel and it was 75 euros. The heater worked well.

Very dirty. I was surprised at how dirty it was. Online you could book a king bed room or a queen bed room. I booked the king bed room. We arrived to a queen bed. They told me they only have queen beds. So booking.com has it wrong. Or they lied to me. We had ONE TWIN SIZE blanket when we arrived. At 2:00 am I was waiting for them to find us another blanket. They found me a horrible blanket for the first night and then gave us a proper blanket the next day. Who puts a twin blanket on a queen size bed for 2 adults to share? There was a mosquito keeping us up all night. The mosque is very close so Call to Prayer is very early and loud. We heard people in the hallway loud and clear while trying to sleep Each night. The toilet almost touched the wall so you have to straddle the toilet to sit on it. There's holes in the ceiling where mosquitos enter. Bed was extremely soft like it's gotten so old. Bedding was stained.

the hotel was near city center and all the tourist spots were at 8 to 10 min walk away, but the hotel was located at an awkward place

the location of the hotel was bit awkward, it was located at the slope area, and we have to climb almost 100 meters to get to the city central area

Staff was very cooperative. And location is also.. hardly 10 minutes walk for tram and 15-18min walk for blue mosque

01) Commode without hand shower, May b that's Turkish culture I don't know.. commode without hand shower is quiet frustrating.. 02) height of stairs.. I am fit so no problem for me but may be for others it could be tough.

Room was perfect, clean, it had everything, good wifi, quiet hotel, personal was helping If we needed something they always helped, they were really friendly

I booked this place for my mum and aunt. They said: the service, the cleaning staff was friendly, the room was cleaned daily. It wasn't big but it was enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My mum said: I can't think of anything bad considering the price we paid.

Only thing I liked was hotel near to famous location and staff namely Turan was amazing guy...he spoke in a nice way and was very supportive

Housekeeping was not daily, so we were without clean towels for 2/3 days at a time

Miklagord was overbooked when we arrived but they kindly offered us a very nice room at Divas hotel, just a few steps away. From our room we enjoyed a spectacular view of the sea. The hotel is located in the city center, you can reach all amenities by foot.

The staff was helpful in answering our enquiries and always available if we needed them.The location was also great — very close to the main tourist attractions and the tram line. The room, while small, was very cozy and comfortable. The bed was of a good quality and all the facilities worked as expected.

While the location was convenient, it is not the best if you want to get an accurate feel for the city and its culture. It is a very tourist-filled area, often overcrowded and therefore inconvenient to navigate.The room service was also subpar. Despite them claiming it to be every day on the website, it was actually closer to once every two days.The closet space was a bit limiting for two people, which is something I’d like to see them expand on. Furthermore, in the bathroom, there are not enough shelves and spaces to arrange personal items.

I chose this place as the location was brilliant and didn’t disappoint. 10 mins walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, Gulhane Park, Topkapi PalaceThe staff are friendly and try to help best they can. We were out and about for up to 13/14 hours a day so this was just a base for us but we didn’t sleep well. Cemberlitas metro station is also just up the road and this is good and gets you around using the metro card.

There is a bit of damp and if bathroom door left open this pervades the room. The pillows were bad and I asked for extra but as hotel full they had no others. I used extra towels under pillow. It’s a 2 star hotel so I understand but I have stayed in better with that rating.

I have booked this hotel for my sister and my brother-in-law and all feedback below is from them: "Ideal location with 6 minutes walking distance to Hagia Sofia and 10 minutes walking to Sultan Ahmed mosque, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money in Istanbul".

"Rooms are a bit small, but that is expected in an old town small hotel".

The location is close to the main tourist attractions.

Breakfast has a european price, for the same money you can eat better anywhere else. Because of the thin walls, you can hear noises from the stairs and the hall.

Particularly Mr. Doaly he is professional, approachable and eager to assist with any inquiries or requests during our stay. Mr. Doaly customer service is highly commendable.Overall Experience: In summary, if your top priority is a prime location at practical cost and you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city, this hotel's central position might be worth considering. However, if you seek a more comfortable and upscale accommodation experience, you might want to explore other options in the vicinity.Suited for travelers who value location above all else.

We arrived late and was put in a room at the basement that seems not been used for long time, the moment you open the door, sink top will welcome you (unpleasant sight) and our Turkish sim had no signal. After explaining how uncomfortable it was we were transferred to another room. Much better.

1-the sink in the bathroom was blocked and smelly, the shower head keeps falling down because the holder is loose so you have to hold it with one hand and wash your body with the other hand, not practical 2-the wooden floor is excessively loud, particularly at night when every little movement from the room above gives you a jump and disturb your sleep
