Surmeli Istanbul Hotel

Honestly only the location in the heart of Istanbul ¿i¿li district and it's well connectivity by public transit to anywhere else in Istanbul, nothing else to be commended about this hotel, short of the kind staff to make it up,the structure is old & mold

Basically everything in this hotel was dated&awful, fixtures&furniture from 1980s, smoke odored room despite assurance to otherwise!& Get this no water one evening returning to hotel at 10pm! They're running maintenance! Pay extra & have better experience

Location and nothing else

Outdated rooms, very noisy, not following or enforcing pandemy rules. Plumbing issues, only one power outlet in room, tv not working, fridge not working, no alarm clock. Only one elevator operational. Lobby was cold, needed to go out to warm up.

Wify is poor

room was prepared for 3 persons prior to our arrival.

The lighting on the floors which were not occupied were not on. It showed that not all the floors were in use.

Good location for further discoveries.

Rooms are not as advertised on pictures - damaged and old inventory. Breakfast is very basic. No gym (although advertised)

Hotel location was good for me, didn’t face any issue going out to Fatih or Taksim. food was very simple and didn’t worth the money to book with breakfast, better to book the room only and go discover nearby restaurants. room clean and comfortable and stuff was very helpful.

- There is not enough power socket in the room if you plan to use your laptop while you are staying there. - No power socket near the boiler to make coffee or tea.- Breakfast was very simple in options and doesn’t worth the price - Bathroom have very bad smell even they come and clean it everyday, something weird there.- Coffee/Tea cup in the room were glass and after i used them they didn’t change them and they simply wash them with water in bathroom and return them back to desk. This makes me worry about the hotel policy for hygiene. if they don’t wash them or replace them with clean ones, they better provide a plastic cup in the room.consider the room price i was expected good value for my money in return.

the outer look

the rooms are very dirty and there was some broken furniture and the windows did not open fully just a crack.

please don’t go there

no air conditioning, poor breakfast, only 1 elevator available
