Overall food quality was average, they block off some of the property for special events ( almost every day) hardly any precious taken for Covid 19

Three of the four persons in our party utilized the Spa Services offered. We were all had wonderful experiences and definitely recommend booking a treatment during your stay.

Because of touring sites or using spa we found ourselves eating later. The hotel restaurants closed at 10 o'clock we we were sat but felt rushed. Plan accordingly. Also our buffet was to include a salad course which wasn't served. I have celiac. :(

I hardly know where to begin, as my experience was simply exceptional from check-in to check-out. In addition to my stay in the Palace Suite, I had the pleasure of visiting several venues, including Gazebo, Tuğra, Bellini, and of course the magnificent New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. Every impression and lasting memory was created thanks to the outstanding people behind these experiences.Mr. Ferhat deserves special recognition for his remarkable leadership and brilliant mind. Watching him manage and resolve every detail during the Gala was truly admirable - a deep bow to him ?Mr. Jam (I hope I have written his name correctly) is a wonderful individual and a true professional.I would also like to highlight the following team members:Umut - a young yet highly ambitious captain, leading his team with confidence and excellence ?Arda - a waiter who should be considered a role model for service; his elegant presence, warm smile, and remarkable aura create an unforgettable experience at Çırağa Palace.The same praise applies to the young waitress Iryna, who continues to impress me on every visit to Çırağan - bravo ?This level of dedication and service is what makes Çırağan Palace truly exceptional.

Everything- a beautiful hotel, well decorated, fabulous views on the bosphorus, very nice and attentive staff as well as the delicious breakfast we had.

Prices of gazebo restaurant were high

Pros: Excellent location, right alongside the Bosphorus, particularly if you prefer not to stay in Sultanahmet (old town). The property is simply stunning; it is historical, majestic, luxurious, and opulent--doesn't get much better than it in the city. The room was spacious and comfortable and it boasted a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus. Dinner at Tugra (in the Ciragan Palace) was a dream, not only because of the decor, but also due to the quality of the food. We felt like true royalty. Staff was courteous and accommodating--particular shoutout to Engin in the bell desk!

Cons: The room temperature--despite lowering the A/C's temperature, the room would not get cooler. We had to sleep with the balcony's sliding door open. The bathroom could be more spacious. Had difficulty with things (mostly in the restaurants) getting lost in translation due to some staff member's limited English, resulting in a couple of incorrect orders.

Great Breakfast overlooking Bosphorus. They have thought of everything excellent service. Hotel in itself is a destination, loved it. Bosphorus view rooms are outstanding, even the partial view room was great.

Turkey in general beef not as good as we are used to in USA. Local food is not great but one has to try it. Local wines were impressive.

The hotel was built next to a place and by the river. It is such a beautiful property and well decorated and maintained. The staff can’t be more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served in the palace building with big buffet and made to ordered items. Will come back.

The room last time had a balcony but this room had a bosphourous view but no balcony. Wish they told me before that there was no balcony.

What's not to like! Ciragan Palace is a magical hotel with all the amenities you could desire, gorgeous rooms, beautiful grounds, outstanding facilities and impeccable service. What they provide definitely comes at a price, but the way they provide it makes it well worth the cost. Simply amazing.

They've literally thought of everything.

Stayed here for two days on my last leg of visit to Istanbul. It has been a dream of mine to stay at this hotel!! It is pricey but understandably so! The grounds alone is incomparable to other hotels; it’s massive and beautiful!! The rooms albeit small induces rest and relaxation. Breakfast service is superb and my egg white omelet was always perfect!! It’s always the little extra details and effort to make to make their guest happy that I look for. This hotel made me feel taken cared of! Thank you for the fruit plate was waiting for me when I got back from an all afternoon tour!! I didn’t know I was hungry until I saw it and it tide me over until I can go out again to get food. The beautiful lady ( I’m so sorry I didn’t get your name!!) who cleaned my room probably detected my OCD and went out of her way to make things super nice tidy! I love that she placed sunglasses cloth and cleaners next to my shades and even organized my tangle of wire chargers using a leather tie all neat and organized!! The pool is beautiful and the pizza at the restaurant near the pool is to die for!! It has been a great experience here, I’m putting this hotel on my “repeat stay list”.

I don’t think it’s a minus but I feel it’s worth mentioning here as well. Just a little hiccup during check in but it was resolved in a professional manner by the right people. I came in early, as I told them on my email, I know I’m early so I’ll just leave my suitcase and head out or have lunch while I wait for my room to be ready. The lady at check in said, oh your room is ready!! Now, I don’t nit pick a lot about things but if you’re supposed to have a Bosphorus View upgrade and was given a room on the second floor ( which I consider the dungeon of hotel rooms!! ) and all you can see are tree tops and pool chairs; the Bosphorus view you have to lean dangerously out of the balcony to see? That gets me annoyed! Went back to the lady at the front desk and was gaslighted with the floor plan of the hotel (which I don’t care to know about!) and her telling me it’s a partial view. I said my reservation didn’t say partial view, so she’s annoyed and I’m annoyed. Thank goodness Engin Zor cut in (thank you for that!!) and made things right for me! I was given the room I was supposed to get (had to wait until proper check in time which I don’t mind anyways). The prompt correction shows how they are on top of their game here. Special shout out to the sweet Ömer Ergun, who made me feel so welcomed (he even offered to make my coffee before he leaves!!) and he’s always on site to give a helping hand!

Top-notch breakfast. Superb restaurants in the palace itself.

Lovely views of Bosphorus from the room and the embankment.The room itself was fine, although smaller than expected.

The hotel, despite being extremely expensive, is clearly mismanaged, and the service is not up to Kempinski standard (for reference, I visited multiple Kempinski hotels for the last 10 years). Which is a shame as the hotel has tremendous potential thanks to its palace and location.The grounds show lots of wear and tear and require renovation.The main (“new”) building which hosts most of the rooms is nothing special and borderline ugly, whereas the magnificent Ciragan palace is actually a standalone building that is effectively closed for visitors, unless you stay in one of the Palace rooms/suites.What made it even worse was the service which was consistently nothing short of a disaster.My interaction with the concierge was absolutely humiliating as the guy was only interested is selling the most expensive tours (which I did not even asked for) in such a patronizing way that I felt disrespected and almost scammed.When my parents wanted to see the Ciragan palace inside, one of the “ladies in red” vaguely responded that it was “possible” but showed no enthusiasm to arrange the visit, so it never happened.The waiters in Gazebo spoke little English and were so inattentive and slow that we decided not to try other restaurants in the hotel.Even the messages from the hotel via Booking.com were either formal or dismissive, without a slightest willingness to go an extra mile.I tried to address some of the issues with the hotel management but got a template and effectively meaningless response signed by Ralph Radtke who is apparently the GM of Kempinski Ciragan. So here we are…Dear Ralph, in case you read this review. In my humble opinion, you dropped the ball. Please, get your act together, or let someone else do it. Thank you!

Insane bosphorus view, attentive staff and luxury bedding. Despite being at the center of Istanbul it is so quiet and feels like a retreat, not a busy city hotel!
