Lalahan Hotel

Excellent location. Sultanahmet square within walking distance or 1 tram stop away, Grand Bazaar 3 tram stops away, ferries 5 minute walk. Close to many eateries.

Sometimes could smell sewage.

This hotel was closed and redirected to the other hotel named Sirkeci Mansion, sister hotel. Smelled, and did not meet our expectations. Looked as very old hotel. Did not look like as 4 star. Mostly as a 3 star rating hotel

Was different hotel.

The location was great.

The property was quite dated and the shower leaked in the family suite. Needs a massive refurbishment. Booked a taxi service from the airport via the hotel and we waited for 20 mins and the hotel tried to charge us for it as I had two young kids I decided to take the normal taxis. They could not provide a time when the car/van was coming. Then all taxis were unable to get to the hotel, short walk required.

Location, and Staff

The toilet door is glass, it doesn't give the full privacy, especially if you are travelling with friends.

The Location

Had to navigate different levels to get to the room. We were upgraded to a Suite which had no resemblance of a Suite.

- Location the hotel located besides many shops and resturants and cafes - clean

- cars cannot stop in hotel door it not allowed you have to walk with your luggages 5 minutes at least no trolly no help - bathroom door made without lock - no microwave - very small fridge - we call them before we arrive to prepare everything but they didnt do anything The ac was off and the room was very hot Fridge was off

The location of the hotel is excellent! We walked everywhere. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms have enough space. The staff is also very available and nice.

We can hear a lot of noise from the corridors and the reception during the night, had to sleep with earplugs. Maybe it would be important to invest in better sound isolation.Breakfast is ok, maybe messy and it could have a lot of improvements. The wifi signal is not that strong at times.

Location , cleanliness near to restaurants and Metro station Staff very supportive special Yağmur in morning shift and her guidance and understanding, thanks a lot to all staff

Every things fine

Loved the rooms. We had multiple rooms booked for a big group of us, and they were all luxurious and spacious. The whole hotel had a lot of charm. Perfect location as mentioned in earlier reviews, 5-10 minutes walking distance to all the attractions/sites.Breakfast was tasty even though the spread was not too large. There is rear entry for airport transfers as the front of the hotel is located on a tramway street, so just let the hotel staff speak to the driver so that they know to drop you off where it is easy and accessible.

Location was brilliant. Close to everything, if you could not walk there the Metro was very close by. Reception person warm, welcoming. Room was good. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Good value for money

Good location. Felt safe during stay. Breakfast is good.

Can hear the water flush from the above floor.

Location somehow

Location near all historical attractions, but it’s in area which is very high traffic Resturant workers was rude and food is very limited Rooms are very cramped for families

the location is excellent. near all main tourist sites. the staff were outstanding helped us so much. very polite and caring. went over and above their responsibilities for us.

spacious room, very clean, central location, great value for the price.

nothing, everything was good.

Location is perfect for exploring Istanbul. Staff was excellent and room was kept clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants in the area as well

that staff were the best , helpful in every aspect . the receptionist ( yamour ) always welcoming and her English is really good . the room was big and comfortable as i wished . the hotel was located in the heart of sirkeci , the tram station is just a 2 min walk from the hotel . near all the historical palaces .

the breakfast quality could be better . and the breakfast too the bed sheets need to be changed and the pillows

the staff were amazing and very helpful. the hotel was very clean and and got everything we needed. the location is probably the best one to stay at as it’s quite and safe. highly recommended!!

This is my 2nd stay at the Lalahan, and I enjoyed it as much this time, as I did my first. On arrival, I was upgraded to a room in the new hotel wing: really spacious, spotlessly clean, with a small fridge, (which was really nice to have) and a little balcony which provided a great spot for early morning coffee! The breakfast selection is superb, and the staff really go out of their way to assist with advice, recommendations, directions, and generally making one's stay a memorable one. For me, the location couldn't be better! You're spoilt for choice with excellent little restaurants and coffee shops. It's a short walk from the metro station, and the train station, to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Markets, and some of Istanbul's most renowned mosques. As you step out of the door, you're immediately become part of the hive of activity which is Sultanahmet - the sights, sounds and smells, which - fortunately - never leave you. Istanbul remains one of my favourite cities to visit, and I would recommend the Lalahan Hotel as a great value for money accommodation, to any potential visitor.

Staff very helpful, room very clean, excelent breakfast, very good location, i recomand this hotel ?? çok teşekür ederim
