Everything. The room was stincking of sewer. It is old, unkept. Horrible

This place is such a "mixed bag". If you are only wanting a nice room and exceptional breakfast, this is the place! The receptionist during the morning and day was super friendly and went out of his way to make everyone feel special and seen. A complete opposite of the receptionist at night.The room was nice, albeit small....but that is typical in Istanbul. Beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom. The steam room and sauna looked excellent, though I never tried them.The breakfast buffet was worth the stay here. Lots of food to choose from and it was really well prepared. Any diets can be easily accommodated here. I suggest getting to the buffet early, or some of the best things will run out.The price was reasonable and the location was great...walking distance to the Blue Mosque and to the Grand Bazaar.

If service & gym are big considerations, look elsewhere.We arrived late at night and the man at the desk was professional, but not especially friendly or helpful. We were looking for food, hoping for his personal recommendations..especially since it was late.. We were handed brochures and told to just walk around outside. To be fair, there are lots of restaurants close to the hotel, but most of them close by 8pm or earlier.There are signs clearly posted that you aren't supposed to bring food into your room/hotel.When I asked for help ordering for food to be delivered, the same guy did say that we could eat it in the dining area, but would not help at all with finding a good restaurant to order from, or even a good ordering service to use...just, "Walk outside and see all the restaurants" (most all of them closed at that time).We had reserved a room with a queen bed. The man at the desk was clearly distraught over this and insisted on giving us a room with 2 twin beds. We are 2 men who have been partnered happily and monogamously for almost 24 years. I didn't have the heart to tell him we wanted to share a bed. Lol... If you are an LGBTQ couple, you want to be aware that the receptionist may have some obvious reactions to this. He's not trying to be difficult, it just clearly isn't something he thinks is okay.The gym is a closet with mirrors to make it look big with equipment that looks like it was salvaged from somebody's garage sale. The weights for the rickety bench press are kept away from the bench, squeezed in behind the entrance door. The machine for multiple exercises is old and not altogether operational...many weights aren't labeled. The seat and bar adjustment knobs don't work or are missing. The free weights go up to 20kg and are squeezed in beside the multi-exercise machine.

First of all the location. It is right in the centre of old city with Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque in walking distances and very near to the tram station which you can use to access the whole city. After that the services are awsome and staff is super friendly. I recommend this hotel to all who are coming to Istanbul.

The only thing i didn't liked was that the gym was too small.

I liked everything until the hotel taxi completely ripped us off at the airport by adding on random made-up charges on top of the amount of the taxi meter.

Second time staying here. Great hotel in a great location. The breakfast is really good with lots of options and new dishes every day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and the beds are quite comfortable.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and the wifi was quite spotty, kept disconnecting. The hot water in my shower was broken: every 2-3 minutes, it would get scorching hot without me touching anything. I almost burnt my scalp one time. After the first day, the cleaning staff didn’t clean the toilet bowl properly until I asked them.

Location was perfect! Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Lighting in the room was too dim. Bathroom sink area in particular needed a light above it.

Excellent location walking distance for Hagia sofia blue mosque and Grand bazaar. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Room size was small than expected.

My room was located at the back of the building and had an unusual layout, with a large pole in the middle of the room.

Location, excellent service, exclusive breakfast, exceptionally polite staff

The location is very good. I was able to visit the main sights like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and Spice Bazaar on foot. The room was comfortable and clean.

The service during breakfast could be improved. Nothing major, but when the restaurant is full, it takes a while to get a table cleaned or receive the cutlery.

The location is excellent! Its just a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Hague Sofia. The Grand and Spice Bazaar are a little further but definitely within walking distance from the hotel. I would say they are less than a half a mile away. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. But the highlight is their Breakfast Buffet! It was the most delicious food varieties that I had while in Istanbul! I can’t imagine a better place to stay than this hotel! I will be back!

I loved everything about this hotel!

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Location is near loads of restaurants.

Hotel location is uphill form the subway station. Not a big deal, but relevant if you are disabled or have loads of luggage.Breakfast was just ok. I wish they had more hot alternatives.

Very friendly front staff. Front desk gave us very good suggestion about where to go and where to shop. They help us with transportation to Airport also.

Breakfast was good, but they can add more hot item. Coffee Latte was not included so you have to pay extra.

No window views, but its in the old town so its understandable

We did not arrive till about 1 am in the morning and our hotel front desk host was absolutely wonderful. He made us feel right at home and got a us some hot Turkish tea and escorted us to our rooms.. he was a delight after our long flight! And the location was amazing just one block or so to the Basilica Cistern, The Hagia Sophia, and The Blue Mosque. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful location, especially for a quick overnight layover and fir a first time visitor to Istanbul. Walkable to notable Old City sites. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

I would recommend to put anti skid mats in the showers, a mishap happened but staff promptly provided an anti skid shower matt
