Avlonya Hotel

Avlonya hotel is a rather nice hotel in Istanbul, close to Aksaray station and thus reasonably central. My room was reasonably spacious, tidy, and equipped with two single beds and a small table and mirror. The toilet was in good order. Breakfast consisted of multiple types of olives and white cheese, one salad with olive oil and raw cucumber and tomatoes to make it less oily if so desired, sweets, relatively sour yoghurt (no milk!), two types of muesli, one type of bread and a few things to put onto it, and a few warm items as well. For drinks, we had water (hot and cold), coffee and black tea. Eating there trice, I was reasonably happy with the variation of things I could eat. There is a nice unused lobby at the second floor where you could meet up and socialize with your own drinks and food if you are part of a larger traveling group. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel for its price (around 40 EUR).

Good location (5 min metro/10 min T1/1.5 hr to IST). Lots of shops and cheap local eateries. Yes, breakfast same but good (cold cuts/chai/coffee/cheese etc). Stayed for 10 days and liked it. Room service daily and sufficient. It is a budget hotel but you can enjoy it. Did I mentioned location!

Lots of smokers in Turkey. Busy bus station nearby.

This was my fourth time in Istanbul. I've always stayed at the Avlonya Hotel and in the future too.

Every time when i visit Istanbul , I use Avlonya hotel. It’s very clear with wonderful breakfast.The staff is always very polite .My special thank to Nebahat and the group at reception. ??

Everything, starting from the way I was welcomed, the room - warm ,spotless clean, comfortable beds and all I needed.Good value for the money and much better than other 3* hotels.I appreciate the staff for their friendly and helpful attitude, always answering positively to the guests' needs.I will always be their guest.

Staff very friendly and good services / Room very clean and good to sleep

First of all I would like to thank all the working staff at the reception and also those in charge of the breakfast. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good, especially the soup. Thanks also to the staff in charge of cleaning as the rooms were cleaned regularly. The location is nice.

The only thing which I did not like was the coffee, because it was very light each time I had to buy a Turkish coffee, in addition there was no hot milk.

Nice Hotel with excellent location for tourism. Near transport, shops, restaurants. Reception staff talk good English. They make nice turkish coffee.

Great breakfast. Had a view of the sea. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the metro station.

It's an older hotel where some parts of the building could be updated.

Stayed here many times. Good value for this price. The rooms are clean, have all the necessary amenities, breakfast is also provided. Sometimes there was unstable WiFi connection, but it was not critical.Very nice location with alote of cafe, restaurants, supermarkets and street market outside. Near metro, bus and train station. Also, absolutely all stuff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks ?

The hotel in general was so good. The breakfast was excellent. The room service was very good as the room and bathroom were clean all the time. The location was nice. It was only 10 minutes' walking to the main street but around the place there were a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel staff showed utmost cooperation and dedicated service. The Internet was excellent too.

I had no complaints at all.

The service was good, breakfast excellent, had a view of the sea, which was nice, and the hotel is walking distance from the Yanikapi station.

The hotel is older and some parts of the room could benefit from being updated.

We were a group of 18 we really enjoyed our stay in Avlonya hotel ..CLEANING EVERY DAY was super perferctVery good breakfast with a lot of varieties Perfect location near Metro, tram, shops and supermarkets Staff are very friendly and helpful. Smell from the street

The location of the hotel was good only 1 minute from metro station.

Breakfast was very ordinary, The only hot food was boiled sausage and boiled eggs. The sound of the next room could be heard completely and clearly. I installed "DO NOT DISTURB" sticker on the door but cleaners 3 times came to my room even after I asked hotel reception to "DO NOT DISTURB". The cleanliness of the room looks good, but if you look closely, it is not clean at all.

Very affordable hotel in a questionable area of Istanbul but I would definitely recommend for short stays

It looks like there a lot of people staying at the hotel who are travelling large distances by bus with massive bags (probably market resellers). It makes the place feel a bit strange with a hasty atmosphere but otherwise no issues.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok.

The room does not look very clean. Though it is cleaned every day, there is still a lot of dust, and especially bad is the bathroom. The toilet is covered in mold inside, that is very unpleasant. A piece of the sink is also broken.
