Istanbul River Hotel

I loved the silence in the room at night, it's positioned perfectly near the train , food outlets, shopping centres and they offer free sauna you only pay for massage and the price is fair.the room is also quite spacious and Morden. The staff is very very helpful and always ready to serve. They all have love for the guests, very honorable.

My hand towels were not seemingly clean, and they don't put a bottle of drinking water after cleaning

Very good place too much near metro station and calm place . Too much market around

Located close to the tram, good value for money if you're not looking for luxury (I wanted a hotel where I could get a good night's sleep and breakfast).

Staff level of English wasn't great. Breakfast was ok, could have had more options

The hotel was too scary, dirty, smelly, rooms were not as in picture, very dirty, not comfortable, smelled cigarette.

I stayed in River hotel many times in the past, and I like it a lot. It is a clean and very location and quiet. They have good breakfast on the roof of the hotel with very nice view of the city. The staff is nice and helpful, especially the nice girl on the reception, she is very nice and welcoming. I will definitely stay there again.

Bad choice

Small room, not clean, very small bathroom, not comfortable, poor breakfast, noise from next rooms, bad smells.

Everyone thought it was the most terrible hotel we had stayed in and we are all regular travellers

Rooms filter, wires and wallpaper hanging.shower cubicle lip missing flooding bathroom at shower time. No advertised facilities ie tea making, mini bar one sheet for bedding pillows marked, filthy drawers

Good location near the city Center, good wi-fi

The room I have chosen is for 2 persons. I thought that the price, which is written in the hotel’s profile, is for 2 persons, but on site I have been told, that is only for 1 person. Still figuring out where the truth is, so be careful.

Nice Hotel, very helpful and efficient staff, Cleaning service for room etc daily.i sayed few time at the hotel and i find it very nice and good.its 5-10 minutes from all the famous anmities on foot like Grand Bazar, Bayezit, Hagia sophia etc., and about half minute walk from aksary tram station on T1 line.All the resturants and local shops are very close by. In short its in avery good location and can access historical sites by walking or tram.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Aksaray tramway ? , and about 10 minutes of walking to Metro station ( yenikapi - haciosman ) M2 metro line

Great location. 1m from tram stop, 4m from marmaray and metro line. Staff on reception speak english well.

I stayed in room 102. Bedsheets were teared, bathroom fan didn't work very well, overall cleanness of bathroom was poor. Window sealing didn't fully join with window frame so the noise is coming inside, just small maintenance will repair it.

Stayed here before as well. Nice place to stay, easy access to public transport including bus, metro and tram just a little walk 2-5 min.Also, a little walk away are plenty of the resturants. Historical places like, Hagia sophia, blue mosque, grand bazar at walking distances.

The hotel used be clean but not anymore, the towels were worn out and dirty and cleaning stuff don’t clean they just make a bed.

Good and helpful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast, in the very center of shopping area and sights. And most import is good pillow and mattress!

Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear nose from corridors, walls, windows. Like it happens in your room. No parking lots around, on Fridays and weekends terrible to get there by car or taxi. Small bathroom (at least in my room 305)
