It?s not fair to pay the price for two adults occupancy for a room that I use just for one person

1. The strategic location. Just a few steps from Gulhane tram 1 stop.2. The friendly staffs. Especially Mr. Aslan.3. Value for money

The staff are friendly and accommodating. They even provided souvenirs for guests. The location of the hotel is very near a tram stop, within walking distance of Haggia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Spice Market, and other sites in Sultanamhet. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. The currency exchange shop attached to the hotel gives a very good exchange rate. There is an electric kettle, coffee service and bottled water provided in the room. The hotel also provides airport transfers at reasonable rates. Free breakfast was also provided.

The room is quite small and cramped especially with our large luggages.

The staff members were so lovely and attentive! They organized airport transport for us both to and from the airport. Plus, our flight leaving Istanbul required an early pick-up, and the staff not only organized the pickup but also packed a little breakfast bag for us to take - such a lovely thoughtful detail that was a complete surprise. The hotel location is also outstanding -you are able to walk to so much! As a family of four, we also appreciated the family suite option that allows for two joined rooms and two bathrooms for a reasonable price. We hope to visit Istanbul again, and we will certainly book this hotel again.

This is second time we stay at the hotel, it has a perfect location walking distance to Sultanahmed plaza and many restaurants. Mr. Arslan and co- workers are super attentive and were very helpfull at all times, the room was clean and the breakfast has a variety of different options. I will stay here again. Thanks again for your hospitality.

The location is perfect to visit the sites, the breakfast complete has good variety and the staff was very helpfull and made our stay a pleasent one.

The water tends to be weak during the morning hours. Sometimes it stops while I'm having a shower

Staff are polite, supportive and trying their best to help hotel guests. Breakfast is delicious with variety to meet guests expectation. Location is safe in the center where you can reach all historic areas, Bosphorus and local markets on foot. There is no noise in the area and recommend for families. In summary, they made my visit to Istanbul enjoyable and fulfilled my purpose of visiting the historical sites.

Room is small in size; however, it’s similar size if I benchmark it with rooms size in Europe hotels and other hotels in the Sirkeci area there will be no difference in rooms size.

We had a joint room with my kids which was perfect! The staff were really helpful and great! Now the best part was location location location!!!

We had a great time staying at Hotel Black Tulip! All staff at the reception were very friendly, polite, and attentive. Reception staff were all very welcoming, always smiling and helpful with anything we asked about, spoke different languages. Big thank you to them! We liked the breakfast at the hotel too. The location is good, close to metro station and mosques. Although, the rooms are a bit small, they were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The location is central near to Gulhane park/station and Marmaray terminal. Other Sultanahmet attractions are at walking distance. Comfortable stay with helpful and courteous staff.

Very small lift for 3 people max without luggage. Taxies can't park in front of the hotel due to the tram line in front. Breakfast options were limited.

The helpful, friendly staff and the location were highlights. The breakfasts were great, as well!
