Great location, amazing staff

Friendly and helpful staff, regular room cleanings. The place also helped me with the transfer from/to the airport. The place is not far from Ayasofya, lots of tourist places nearby as well as restaurants and markets.

The bathtub in the room was leaking which annoyed me a lot. In general the quality of the room was a little bit below of what I expected considering the price of my stay. The neighborhood is too noisy - I used earplugs for sleep every night and still didn't manage to sleep well.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The exterior of the building was beautiful and charming, giving it a very welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was also quite good, with a decent variety and fresh options each morning. The location is perfect — just a short walk from Sultanahmet Square, making it super convenient to visit landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is quaint and has a local feel to it which was lovely. But what makes this hotel is the people, Murat and Yazim are absolute starts and make you feel like it’s a home away from home. All staff were friendly and always willing to help. Murat tells like it is, gives you all the options and lets you decide.Very clean and very well looked after.Location is excellent can walk to the blue mosque and Topkapi palace within 5 mins and Sultanahmet metro stop is about 10-15mins walk.

Nothing that staff can control but the gym is too small and not enough space and the noise from the bar across the road which will kill business for a number of businesses in the area but neither are insurmountable and the rest of the experience makes up for it.

I felt like I was stying with family the staff were so lovely. The location was on a street with many restaurants and the Hagia Sofia and the Basilica cistern just a few minutes walk. The Grand Bazaar was also walkable. I could see the Hagia sofia and the Golden Horn from the adorable little balcony. Everything about the hotel was exactly what I wanted from an old city. Charming. I didn't use the spa but they were ready to heat it for use and I wish I had. Really wonderful people. When I forgot my phone in a taxi they helped me recover it although I had already checked out. I wish I could thank them properly.

I have nothing to say here. It was everything I hoped. The rooms may be a little small for some expectations but I was completely happy with the cozy space.

Spa area was out of action: hammam takes hours to warm up and was always turned off. Sauna was broken. Disappointing as i chose this hotel because it advertised having a spa.

kenan was a breath of fresh air professional super nice Mostafa was super sweet so as Apo and Emre they were all very nice and helpful and good at what they’re doing.

Small room, over priced, aircon was either on or off all the time no possibility of adjusting temperature or switch on and off as you would normally do.

The location very convenient to old city. The staffs are so nice and helpful with smile welcoming especially Kenan. He gave us direction to all best places to visit.

The hotel is so cozy with nice atmosphere.

We stayed at the GLK Premier for 5 nights in Oct 2023. Upon check in, we were a bit surprised by the room because the hotel is rated 4.5 stars and the room was more of a 3 star based on our extensive travel experience. Nonetheless, we settled in. The pull out bed was still out even though we didn’t need it as there were only 2 of us. The remotes did not work for the TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the outside area) so we reported the issue. The next day around 11am, I headed to the gym while my wife was trying to nap in the room. We had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. A staff member knocked once and walked in to drop off a replacement TV remote. He not only ignored the DND sign but also did not announce himself or apologize when he realized my wife was under the sheets in bed. Complete invasion of privacy! When I returned from gym, my wife and I reported the issue + TV remotes (watching the news was very important to us) still not working to the front desk staff. They were very apologetic and offered to give us another room. We changed rooms that day and most of our day was wasted with the packing and unpacking. The following day, the manager approached us at breakfast and insisted that we let him arrange airport transfer for us so we agreed. He then continued to insist on letting him do something else for us too. We didn’t know what to ask for…so he said to call him. So eventually, my wife called and made an appt for a massage assuming it would be taken care of since the manager insisted so much. When we checked out, we were charged for the massage.. so we were a bit confused about the insisting. Speaking of massage, the lady was absolutely amazing. Gym is 1 star - most machines were broken and out of order. Breakfast was 3.5 star. Location is 5 star for those who love touristy areas. We personally like secluded private areas away from all the tourist hussle and bussle so that part is based on preference.

Traveller with two other couples. We paid double what they paid. When we complained, the hotel gave one of the other couples the upgraded room.

Location

We booked a junior suite because we have 2 kids. When we arrived the hotel wanted €100 extra for the kids because our infant and toddler were not on the booking. Didn’t feel right as this is not extra effort for the hotel.
