Hotel Sapphire

Very good location , quiete, can walk everywhere. Good breakfast, nice staff. Room clean, bathroom ok, beds comfortables, pool was not open.

The staff was extremely helpful with information about the historic Istanbul area. The breakfast was also very complete for a free hotel breakfast.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Ali Ibrahim is a great guy who helped us and accommodated our requests. The room was clean, the staff were super friendly, price is reasonable, breakfast was delicious, the location is amazing and literally a walking distance from trains, trams, busses and fares and tourist attractions.

There is some construction work beside the hotel. However, we were out all day so it didn’t bother us at all.

Very good location if you're interested in the major tourist sites like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorous.Very very nice staff. Warm and friendly all of them. The breakfast staff is very sweet and almost parental. Very kind.

TV remote didn't work but I didn't call to get it fixed so that's my fault. I am a non-smoker and though my room didn't smell like smoke, if I opened the door and outdoor balcony door, the smoke wafted by. This is just a cultural thing--cigarette smoke is common.

Helpful, english speaking staff. Good breakfast buffet. Good location for exploring Old City sites. 1 block from T1 tram line. Room is small but well furnished.

We paid 50 E for the hotel shuttle to airport for an early morning flight. Shuttle van was 20 min late and a taxi would have cost 30 E.

Great location, very close to the main attractions. The windows face outside, not a wall or an internal yard, which was really nice. The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and polite.

When I was booking, I didn’t realize that they don’t have their own parking, and the nearby parking options come with an additional cost.

The hotel’s location was excellent — just a short walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The street has plenty of restaurants, although most of them are a bit overpriced. The room was okay; there was a kettle and cups but no tea bags or coffee provided, and no complimentary drinking water either. Staff was very helpful.Breakfast was good though.Overall, decent stay mainly because of the location.

Recently renovated. Perfect location. Walking distance to main attractions. Amazing breakfast. The staff is extremely helpful and makes you feel more like at home than in a hotel. Oguz, Vural, Ali, and Halil are extremely kind and friendly.

The location is perfect: everything is basically at the doorstep - monuments, restaurants, park, coast where you can run, port, tram,... everything. Our room was rather small with not exactly postcard view, on the other hand it was rather quiet, as restaurants were on the other side. Big ups for the powerful hairdryer that won't waste your youth drying your hair. The pool and sauna looked good, but I cannot rate, as we did not use either of them. The hotel staff, mainly the front desk team is very nice, polite and helpful.

Not to complain, just bear in mind there is an ongoing reconstruction on some floors so if you want to rest at the hotel during the day, you may hear some noise. Also, the bathroom, mainly the shower, was a bit outdated, but I figured it may be a matter of another phase of reconstruction.

Location was really good. All major attractions are in 10-15 mins walking distance. The hotel area is nice and has lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Good selection if you are looking for touristy vibes.

Very kind and helpful staff at the hotel, they were very nice from the moment we arrived. Rooms were clean and tidy, very comfy. I really recommend giving it a try. I will for sure book here again when I visit Turkey. Thank you

We stayed at Maywood Hotel, sister hotel to Hotel Sapphire (which had been closed by the Municipality prior to our arrival).Rooms are very small but clean and comfortable.Includes a good buffet breakfast.Really good location, walkable to River, spice markets, Blue and pink mosque and The Grand Bazaar.

Small rooms, otherwise everything else OK. Would have like to stay at Hotel Sapphire (not Maywood Hotel) which came recommended.

For your information, the Sapphire is requesting us to move yo the Maywood Hotel due to some concern in the Sapphire Hotel (1-2 months ago).This hotel is good property

Perfectly located, very easy to get everything sorted

Beds are quite short, I'm 181 and my feet were on the edge if I laid straight. Fine if you have the whole bed to yourself and you can lay diagonally

Very good hotel in the city center. Close to everything and with breakfast included. Very nice staff and bedrooms big enough for two people.

The location is amazing. We can go walking to everywhere, and its very near to the city center and the metro station. I recommended.
