The rooms were clean

The staff was rude, more interested in selling overpriced tour packages instead of true hospitality. Couldn't even give a plate or fork for room service if you don't buy thier overpriced tour packages. The location is not Taksim Square, it's a good 1km away to Taksim and it's all hill/incline so you can't walk, you will have to take taxi or thier shuttle which only operates sometimes.

-Size of the room (bigger than the majority)-Cleaness of the hotel-Staff is very kind specially Muli he was cooperative

-Breakfast is the same every day. Even in the location of the dishes.-Location: not close to main road in Sisli nor close to Taksim. Although it is located some place inside Sisli, it is noisy. I discovered after few days that there was a cold store (retail shop) behind the hotel.-Lighting is very bad and the room is dark

Most staff were friendly and welcoming. Some staff were not and they should all be notified. If one staff is unfriendly and not helpful it means that most visitors will be unhappy. I was comfortable but the rooms need to be checked. Some of the sockets work, some don't, the water tap is the wrong way round. It looks as though the maintenance is not being kept up. This could be an amazing hotel if all staff are friendly and the maintenance is kept up. The idea of cats being in the hotel lobby for me is nice. However, I noticed one lady that has a fear of cats, there is cat faeces and hair around the hotel lobby which causes concern for hygiene and allergies too. Many people complained about this but aren't able to communicate with the staff due to language barriers. The light switches are very confusing and it took forever to figure out. It's a little dark and dingy in the rooms. Also, the breakfast is the same every morning and seems a little cheap. The restaurant could be open for coffee, tea and snacks. I don't understand why they're not open. It is a shame this hotel could be a great hotel.

I didn't like that I was being blamed for an electric shock at the hotel but they tried to help and do the best they can.

the location was good - two staff were treating me very good after all (Multu & Meleh)

the bathroom in the lobby wasn’t clean - no breakfast options enough - the room has broken items even when I changed the room - two of the staff I will not mention the names were very rude and helpless - room is not clean once I entered at the first time and also each time after cleaning from housekeeping and clothes are not organized.

nothing every thing was good

It was beyond my expectation. The hotel location is very nice which is near to all facilities. I like the hotel staff behavior and the rooms which we booked were so nice and comfortable.

The breakfast was great, they had everything refilled until the last minute. Staff provided us with Omelet every morning, if you ask them they will bring it to you at no charge :)The location was good, exact 15min walk to Taksim. I’ve seen in comments that people complained about the “very bad uphill” but it was not horrible. Also they provided shuttle every hour, mornings and evenings. We stayed for 3 weeks, and during our stay we had no issue with the safe box or the AC, it was working just perfectly. The hotel management was great and the staff were friendly and amazing. They were always ready to help and answer any questions.Will definitely chose this hotel again!

NEVER STAY AGAIN!!!

NEVER STAY AGAIN . We had to stay only 1 night because of flight delay. service was VERY poor! Actually NO room service in place , we demanded some routine things: Iron, tissue, clean blankets ... but no one took care despite of several follow up, even after in person reffrence to Lobby.Blankets seemed used!The lobby does not answer via room's phone, lobby lumps are fully off at days and lobby was deeply dark, breakfast was very poor, location is near to Taksim but the path is very uncomfortable to walk.

Nothing two rooms had issues one harmful substance leak from air con killable, and second room faulty bath damaged all personal belongingsSAME CHEAP awful disgusting food everyday not even any fruits a 3 star hotel up the road was providing more luxurious breakfasts then this hotel avoid in total! Not even one piece of fruit/bowl Awful hotel too far out the main area, traumatizing! Ruin your whole holiday.

Horrible!

The rooms were dirty. There was not much facilities to use. Staff were not very helpful! Would not recommend to stay there. It wasn’t safe for children so many hazards.

It was a very pleasant stay! The staff was very friendly and caring, especially the employees Mutlu and Arda. It is a very nice and clean hotel. Thank you for the great stay! :) Next time we will book the Dora hotel again.Thank you very much, Janet and Melissa

The staff only

The worst stay ever, as for cleaning it was so bad. I checked in and the room was super dirty, the floor was filthy no cleaned at all for days and even during the stay nothing got cleaned besides fixing the bed only. There was a bad smell at the entrance and lobby as well in the room. I believe there was bed bugs because I got skin rash and itchy skin. I will never recommend or stay there again. plus the shuttle to Taksim square wasn’t available all the time and when it was, only one way to taksim and not as stated in the hotel services. The hotel needs maintenance.

Breakfast was good and clean. Room service was also clean.

The door to our room was broken and could not be opened with the card and we had to wait a long time behind the door for the door to open. It was not good at all that the repairman was not doing his job well.?The princes would charge a lot more money to order food, for example, the cost of food would be 100 lira, they would take 200 lira from us, and that is not good at all.

I like the place nice and cool staff good breakfast close to everywhere

the staff are friendly and they help a lot if you ever come to Dora Istanbul just ask for MUTLU HES THE BEST

Wonderful experience. Felt like home. Clean hotel, good breakfast, quiet and well equipped room. Best surprise was M. Eray at the reception with excellent service and care to the smallest details. The best guidance and care a tourist can expect. Gul at the 7th floor was doing perfect quick cleaning. Smiling staff. It was a wonderful experience. I will definitely come again.

I like everything about the property,big room, full of mirrors toilet, luxurious, big lobby, amazing and friendly staff, adorable I recommend for couples and families, delicious breakfast as well.

A bit far from Taxim Mydanne; but that doesn’t count aa they have a free shuttle to Taxim every 1 hr.

Staff was very friendly, Hotel worker Arda was such a kind soul and he was always so helpful with us during our stay.
