A beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The food was exceptional and the service great. It was easy walking to many of the interesting areas of Istanbul.

Nothing - it was a great experience all round

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable; the room was absolutely gorgeous, very specious with a lot of closet space. They even had special cases for the towels. Highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay-great service, lots of variety, beautiful views from the restaurant terrace. In fact, we loved the hotel restaurant so much we had dinner there twice. Highly recommend

Excellent stay overall. The staff was extremely cordial, professional, and always willing to help, making the experience feel truly personalized and attentive to every need. The hotel’s infrastructure is outstanding, very well maintained, and the property itself is beautiful. A perfect combination of great service, comfort, and elegance. Highly recommended.

The location, cleanliness and comfort and beautiful design of the hotel and most of all the politeness and helpful staff are the best. The top polite is the bell captain and all the staff really.

Everything was excellent.

I didn’t like the hotel transfer because there was a long waiting time. After signing in, there was also a considerable walking distance to the transfer vehicle. In addition, the process was quite disorganized, as the staff were gathering and placing different customers in the same transfer, which made everything confusing and slow.

The staff were immensely helpful and the breakfast was outstanding

It was difficult to get in a real swim in the pool.

The staff is great, friendly and happy and the furniture is exquisite.

The room we had was on the 2nd floor with no view whatsoever. You would see only the building next door. We had a deluxe suite which was also very dark.The location is indeed near everything worth visiting but the street it is located on is VERY SHADY and DIRTY!It's definitely NOT a 5 star - it lacks a nice lobby where you can drink a good coffee, attention to detail is missing (our coffee mugs were not washed the next day for example).The restaurant also is bad!

The unique rooms and beautiful lobby. The attentiveness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location is excellent.

5 min walk to all major atractions. Boutique hotel, furnished like a small palace. Aytac the Bell captain was extremely helpful.

Everything about AJWA Sultanahmet was perfect — from the elegant interior to the exceptional service. A special thank you to the bellman and his team for their professionalism and kindness. They made our stay even more enjoyable.

Zeferan Restaurant offers a beautiful setting with a butterfly view and serves authentic Azerbaijani cuisine — one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant . The food was excellent and full of flavour. My only small comment: the portions are very large, even for me (I’m 194 cm and 115 kg)! :)

The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the decor was very nice.

The view out the window wasn't great. this may be a plus to some so just a preference that there is no time couples are permitted together in their water facilities.

Breakfast is fantastic, and the rooftop restaurant has wonderful views. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room decoration was beautiful.

Some things were good but not great - the bathroom door was super noisy and woke up my wife; one of the days the cleaning crew did a poor job and missed several things. Location is in a very old part of town; 15 min walk (uphill) from attractions but not convenient for car or public transportation.

The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. This is a first class run property as advertised, I’d recommend a stay here to anyone.

I honestly can’t criticize them, it was a fabulous stay. The Hamam wasn’t really hot enough so that’s the only thing that wasn’t perfect. Had I asked them im sure they would have turned it up.

Decor and cleanliness

Everything was just perfect and service was exceptional be it reception, restaurant, room service, or concierge

The location is wonderful, especially for those who would like to explore the historic city. It can be a bit crowded for those who prefer to take a taxi; however, many attractions are within walking distance. The staff were super helpful and friendly, I would like to thank them all for the memorable experience, specifically Mostafa and Lori. I do not remember the names of the reception staff and the tourism desk, but they are all super professional. The restaurant has a great view towards the blue mosque and the sea, the food is delicious and of good quality; the price might be considered high by some compared to other countries; however, compared to Istanbul, I find it acceptable.

He was in heart of the historic area of the Istanbul, beautiful hotel,

the room was very small for a family of three and we could not fit in the bed and there was no additional bed available that made a little bit difficult, we could not use the sonna and facilities as a family, which I’m not sure if the rules in all the hotels in Istanbul or particular to this brand also the hours were off, so it was difficult to use them

the hotel was spotless! the staff was couldn't be any better! they made you feel as though you were their only guest . A great location

Authentic. Clean. Great location

We stayed in the clock house, which was lovely. However it has a lot of outside noise

Service was very good. Concierge was very helpful with guides, hiring a boat, and places to eat. Rooms were in good shape and beds comfortable. Good breakfast if you book with front desk, as it is far cheaper than if you just walk. Great location for exploring the old city. Can get around on foot.

The gym area was very weak. Note that the gym has separate hours for men and women, and it is a small and ill equipped gym. This was very disappointing for us. the bathroom was ergonomically weird if you have a bathtub- difficult to get in and out. the door was quite awkward.
