Timeks Hotel Sultanahmet

This hotel was in the Sultanahmet area and was within walking distance to a lot of the tourist sites. Complimentary breakfast was good and saved money on eating out. Staff made arrangements for airport shuttle to and from both airports.

great location

the manager who worked the day shift was extremely rude. would not talk to us. He would just leave while people are waiting. A woman who worked there cleaning and preparing breakfast was moody, she yelled at us, and some times she tried to help

Staff was super friendly, complimentary tea was fabulous, and the location was optimal.

The stench. Mold problem in all rooms and the refrigerators are warm to touch. Due to the smell, we had to keep the doors and windows open at all times... which was suboptimal given the December weather and major snow storm that occurred during our stay

Outstanding central location, immaculate modern room with balcony, easy quick walk from tram.

The staff are so friendly and it is very close and less than 3 mins walk to main attractions.

It’s practically a block next to the main mosques of Istanbul (Sultanahmet). Also the staff is friendly and helpful

The receptionist was super polite, even prepared us breakfast at 5AM, since we had an early flight. The location is 1min from the historic sqare and not noisy.

Light in the bathroom was very weak. The light on top of the bed was very strong and could be turned off only if you remove the main key, but then you can't use anything else. The door that go to the balcon couldn't get locked.

The location is good. The staff was trying to clean the room everyday. The room had a nice terrace (dirty one though)

The bed was not comfortable, the bed frame was half missing and super squeezy. The bathroom was small and not comfortable at all, especially where the sink was. The towels were clean but old as the hotel. The room itself was a decent size for the area, But was in desperate need of renovation.The breakfast was okay but quite poor and there was no option for espresso or Turkish coffee.

The best things for Temeks: really good breakfast with many good choices. Not your typical breakfast, almost like a buffet. Secondly, great location if you want to visit the Hagia Sofia, walk down to the water, or visit the Blue Mosque. Transportation is good. A tram stop is nearby. Great shower, a nice desk to work at, quiet room. Mattress ok.

This is a hotel that needs some love. Dated furniture, a broken kettle in my room, very dim bathroom light, flooring needing repair. The entrance also has dated furniture and just needs to be freshened up. All in all, good value, but understand the negatives.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel — it’s great value for the money we paid. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Sultanahmet. The breakfast was also good. The staff were friendly and very supportive. We were traveling with a group, and they were always quick to respond and happy to help with any questions we had. Special thanks to Ufuk, who was especially kind and made our stay even more pleasant.

Great location, less than 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque.

Breakfast menu is the same everyday. If they can have a bit of variety for each day, it would be much better.

My salutations to Zubair and Ufuk, you two are the best. They were polite, professional, and very friendly. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the breakfast lady who was very provocative and aggressive and maintained the same behavior throughout the duration of our stay. The other lady was awesome and kept telling us to ignore her. Other than this, Timeks hotel was cozy and comfortable, definitely worth booking.Ufuk and Zubair, it has been a pleasure and an honor to meet you guys.

The behavior of the lady who manages breakfast. She kept provoking/insulting us in her native language.

The location is ideal, just 5 min walking to sultanahmad masjid and 7 min walking to the nearest metro station.There is an elevator in the hotel.The staff was very helpful, they arrange for airport transfer with a reasonable price ( cheaper than uber or bitaksi app. )All rooms are equipped with aircondition.Rooms are like pics on booking

The breakfast was ok but needs some improvement ( like more varieties and some changes to the daily dishes as they serve same dishes everyday.No daily drinking water with the room services.Do not buy from the nearest supermarket, its prices are very high.

Hello,I would like to share my feedback about my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the experience.The air conditioner in the room was broken and made extremely loud and disturbing noises, making it difficult to rest. The bedsheets were not clean and had hair on them. There were no toothbrushes provided, so we had to buy our own. Also, there were no tissue papers available in the room or on the table, and when I asked, I was told they were not provided — I had to purchase them myself.In addition, the bathroom ventilation system was not working, and the hairdryer made a very loud and frightening noise — it seemed to be broken as well.Overall, the conditions were not acceptable, and I was disappointed with the quality of the hotel.

I really like the location of the hotel, it's so close to the center, Also, I like the staff they are really amazing and helpful.

Some of the facilities are not working in my room like the mini bar, so no cold water, and the AC condition has a timer ! It doesnt work befor 12:00pm at all.not all drinks available, there is only tea and hot water and nesscaffe black, the milk on request. There is no smoking area inside, so everytime I go outside to smoke.Another last thing is my room was in the basement!I don't know this info when I book the room, maybe it exists but I did not notice, so I feel like there is no air flow in my room.

The location was great and the staff were kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Great location walking distance to the center of old part of town of Istanbul, breakfast was included and I was given my own room for no additional charge as I was with a family of 8. That was a really wonderful unexpected offer.

Very well located, a few steps away from the main touristic attractions. The hotel is very good value for money. The rooms are not very big but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is basic but good and not expensive. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The transfer service from and to the airport they provide is not expensive and very effective. We recommend this place.

The only thing missing would be a kettle in the room to be able to have a tea in the evening.
