Ottoman Elegance Hotel

It was clean comfortable and very close to sites I didn't even need to rent car

The hotel has excellent location, it was very close to the old town, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, but not in the the way of tourist crowds. The room was clean and was kept clean every day during our stay. The staff was polite and responsive to our needs. All in all, the hotel provided very good service for the money

The bathroom needs renovation.

Heating didn't work properly in one of the rooms

An excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Everything is new and very clean—they cleaned regularly and changed the bedding. The Old Town and many attractions are nearby. On maps, the area looks quite deserted, but in reality, it’s packed with all kinds of shops and restaurants. The hotel manager, Islam, was always ready to help. We’ve stayed in about five different hotels in Turkey, and this one was the best.

Actually, the hotel is excellent, but for the sake of fairness, I’ll mention a few minor drawbacks. The showerhead was slightly broken—I wouldn’t have noticed, but my wife did. There’s a mosque near the hotel, so be prepared for the call to prayer at dawn. The breakfast is a bit sparse.

Nice, quiet location. Some good restaurants nearby.Our teenagers bedroom upstairs was lovely and large with plenty of light.

Our bedroom was right off reception so at street level. There was street noise and reception noise. The shower was tiny and one side of it was a window.

Mould around toilet. Please replace silicone as it will make the bathroom look a lot cleaner

The staff is not that much helpful immediately when i reach they ask me to upgrade the room with balcony that is not the good welcoming at all i have asked to make little bit late check out for 1 hour instead of 12 to be 1 but they are not help for that even i wake up at 9 am i was going out to do some shopping the front reception staff he ask me are you want to check out please keep remind you have 3 hours remaining and thats not the good way to deal with customer

The location is ideal for exploring the Sultanahmet area and the Bazaar, placing you within walking distance of key attractions. The surrounding area is in general quiet, the rooms are clean with a comfy sofa bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Additionally, there are several nearby coffee shops, perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast.

The location and the staff - Islam is the best, very receptive, we had free parking, Islam knows english and russian, he is very polite and helpful. The room was very cute and we had a lot of facilities nearby

Location of Hotel is great it's 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia, they reserved for us parking space in front of the hotel. Islam is great host, all recommendations!

The location of the hotel is very convenient for Istanbul. The area is nice and quiet. There are restaurants nearby and there is a train station near to take you to Sirkeci station from where you can go around Istanbul. It was very, very clean. The rooms were tidy and air conditioned which is a must in Istanbul. Also the staff is very friendly and they speak several languages so you won't have a problem with communication. Check-in and check-out times are also very convenient.

I didn't have breakfast as we were leaving early morning but the location is fantastic and Islam and Umot at the reception were amazing and helpful and helped us a lot. They were very polite. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel as you have privacy as you are in home , not hotel. I will go there again.

It was super clean and had all the appliances! (no fridge but it has a coffee machine) The staff has been great by staying up almost 24 hrs. I like that the room comes with an AC that's a plus.

Good value for what it's worth! Personnel is kind and ready to serve. Location is good, although you would still have to climb hills everyday to get to all the attractions.

We booked a standard room, but by chance we got promoted to a deluxe room with a balcony for one night. To be honest we liked the standard room more as the Delux one is just bigger, but with all the same set of furniture (so it feels emptier) and has a balcony with a view on another building.

The property was near to the centre of Istanbul Hagia Sophia and museum just 10 min walking distances, quite number of restaurants around the corner just in 5 min walks.

The water heater didn’t had much hot water to shower it was like Luke warm.

Great location, very kind and polite hosts, the breakfast was very delicious and the room was tidy and comfortable. There was a free parking place in front of the hotel!
