In a really bad area, no phones inside the room so if you need anything you have to go down to the front desk and usually there is nobody to talk to Avoid this hotel I dont understand how it is rated with three stars !!!!

1. The cleaning lady comes into the room in the mornings without warning 2. Every 3 or 4 days the power went out3. Noisy neighbors

We had a hotel change to the A Plus Hotel. It is the sister Hotel to the Lemon Residence around the corner. A 3 minute walk. Very similar hotels. This is our second visit.

The area is not the best. The surrounding buildings require refurbishment. Many are derelict and occupied by homeless people. Overall we felt safe but you need to be aware late at night.

The price is not fair compared to what you get. The toilet was broken, it moves everytime you sit. Even though there’s a sweet lady doing the cleaning, she doesn’t clean at all, she makes the bed that’s it. I’m 100% sure it’s not her fault but have been told to.Everything’s dusty and dirty. Bed sheets and pillows are not clean.

Despite being close to Taqsim Square, the property's location was poor and unclean due to the poorly maintained roadway.

many items on the reservation was false, including the availability of gas. I requested the manager for gas so that I could cook, but he refused. The microwave dish functioned there as well. You must also inquire about the kettle! since you are not provided by default. You have to ask them for the cleaning room because they don't have any cleaning schedules!

The staff was super helpful till last minute, very caring and never hesitated to help.Location is veryyy close to Taksim square and Istiklal street. Hotel is located in a small street parallel to a bigger one and you can know from where to enter towards the hitel from "Vodafone" shop, so it's faraway from the crowd and noise.

The street is like a ramp, so by the time I was leaving the city, I had to order a taxi to drop me off at the Havaist bus station heading to airport.

Lemon Residence is perfectly located - just a few minutes walk from Taxim Square, where you can get transport to pretty much anywhere in the city, including the airport, and very close to Istiklal Street - a pedestrianised zone with all manner of shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, as well as exchange bureaus that offer the best rates in the city. Perfect for a first-time visit to Istanbul! It may seem like a dodgy area to begin with, but we found it safe enough to walk around at pretty much any time of day or night. The staff at Lemon are great - super friendly and helpful, and they let us leave our luggage when we checked out on the last day, which was great because our flight wasn't until midnight so we had the whole day to do museum/sightseeing/shopping! The rooms are kept clean, with fresh towels and bedsheets (non-synthetic!) as well as bedroom slippers on request.

The room was a bit smaller than we expected, and the soundproofing is not great, so we could hear our neighbours upstairs as well as anybody in the lobby or using the stairs.

The location is truly convenient, pretty silent and decently safe :)

There are no stovetop and minibar in the Standard studio. Also the bed sheets weren't that clean.

Location and friendly attitude of Mr Hasan and Mr Mehmet. They are excellent hosts.

I was cheated by Booking.com for overcharging. I booked for Euro 1060 but I was charged Euro 1600 on credit card through deception. Then booking.com staff was not helpful for any assistance or clarification. Pathetic service by Booking.com

paid for a comfort suite for 3 people, was given a hotel room for 2 people and then told they would give us another bed for the 3rd person.

Just across the road from Taksim's main high street. Stuff is very friendly and helpful at the desk.

Very dated furniture, rooms and toilets need some serious maintenance.

stayed on roof top comfort suite. No lift services to the roof floor. Difficult to step up with your luggage's from 4th floor. Doors to the balcony are with broken glass panels and shaking hinges. suite is having lift machine room part of it breaks your sleep when someone uses the lift.

space is very narrow and it was difficult for us to find hotel location because we don’t have internet

Staff were helpful and nice. We arrived late but we were let in at 03:00 when this was supposed to beyond check in time. We were also lent an umbrella by the staff when it rained heavily.

Fridge in room did not work. We bought fruit and it spoiled but we did not realize it wasn't working as the light came on in the fridge but it does not cool the inside.

Not meeting expectation

1. Some times you may need to carry your luggage to hotel by step.2. Sunday is holiday for their staff so don't expect any cleaning and you may need to carry the garbage 3. Rooms are very small , maximum 20 m2 , all congested4. Bathroom are not in good condition, not fixed even properly 5. No front end staffs, you may need to cal every time.6. Hair drier is brocken 7. Sometimes they may ask for cash payment only8.
