1) as I am unfamiliar with regular use of toilet paper going into a separate bin (not the toilet) I do wish the bin was larger

Great location close to the Grand Bazaar and sites. Friendly staff with comfortable waiting area during check-in. Provided us tea while we waited. Attentive staff who explained everything to us. Great double room for our family of 4. Helped us with our airport transfer at 4am! Very close to wonderful restaurants.

Location was fantastic for walking (5mins) to all the main attractions and seconds away from so many restaurants. Breakfast was very good, the most fresh bagels and hot cooked food - was nice to have an alternative dish every morning. The view from the breakfast room looks out onto Hagia Sofia and even better - there's a viewing platform upstairs from breakfast with SPECTACULAR views! All staff were friendly & professional.

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my family's exceptional experience at Nowy Efendi Hotel in the heart of Sultan Ahmet. This was our first trip to Istanbul, and the staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail made it truly unforgettable.We were thrilled with the recommendation from our friend to stay at Nowy Efendi, and every interaction exceeded our expectations. From the initial WhatsApp messages arranging our airport pickup to the helpful guidance on restaurants and sightseeing spots, the team went above and beyond.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from the front desk to cleaning and breakfast service. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and served on the enclosed terrace with a stunning skyline view. We also loved relaxing on the rooftop, taking in the city views.The location is ideal – just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Grand Bazaar, with the tram station nearby.I'd like to give a special shout-out to the amazing staff members who made our stay so special: Burcu, Numen, Soresh, Anil, Rose, and the others who made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you for making our Istanbul debut so memorable! ?

1) Rooms were smaller. 2) I wish the hotel had a lounging area with coffee machine for its patrons.

Very tight room, we stayed at the family room. For a stay with kids it has very very little space to open the luggage. Breakfast is very limited

Mattress was a bit less comfortable and the King size bed was kind of Queen Size.

A greater selection at breakfast would be appreciated, and the pillows were a touch too soft for my liking -though that's just personal preference

Breakfast was excellent, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and happily outgoing. In sum, there were a great addition to our visit to Istanbul!!

The staff are warm, helpful and provided us information on the tourist attractions. They prepared sandwiches for us for breakfast as we have to leave the hotel at 5AM for the airport.

I was very happy with my stay, excellent location to all the major sites, Haya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and more. Lovely night walks and felt safe. Breakfast was a feast with everything you can imagine, eggs, warm foods, and sweet treats, plus a view of the city. Happy!

The only thing was the steps, going up and down the steps to the lobby. You get your exercise! lol

Great location! Middle of all the great sights, but not on a main road so quiet. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and a chance to try local fare. Staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Our room was a little on small side but we were rarely in it.

Rooms could be a little big bigger

The hotel is located near Istanbul's tourist area. The hospitality of the staff is well known, well done to them! The room was very clean, everything was just right. From the terrace, where breakfast is served, you can admire Hagia Sophia in all its splendor.

There is some renovation work going on around the hotel, but this did not affect me, as I left the room in the morning and returned late in the evening. The cat at the entrance is brilliant.

Property located perfect in the city center, but tuck in a quiet street. Staff is incredibly helpful, polite and ready to help you any minute of the day ,the room was small but have everything you need. Beds are very comfortable room very clean. You can open a window. AC is working perfectly. The water pressure is perfect. I love this hotel.we have breakfast included which was serve on terrace good variety . They have open roof top terrace with a beautiful view.. Sultanahmet square 5 min walk T 1 tram 5 min walk. Lots of shops and Reustarant around. Hotel staff are great with recommendations for tours, Hammam experience or booking a taxi for you.. recommend this place 100%

Excellent location—within walking distance of all the main sights. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the rooftop terrace offered a beautiful view. We stayed in Room 603, which had two separate bedrooms and was wonderfully quiet. A charming bonus was the adorable cat guarding the entrance.
