    • Four Seasons is, as always, in a league of its own. We will for sure stay here again during our next visit to Istanbul. The service is impeccable. Edges Shangri-La Bosphorus. Beats Kempinski Ciragan by a mile. We are yet to stay at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus and The Peninsula, but I will be very surprised if Four Seasons isn’t superior. The grounds are equally phenomenal. Marble flooring that covers all the private Bosphorus embankment is simply the best, especially when compared to dated and crumbling tiles of Kempinski Ciragan. We visited the outdoor swimming pool as well as the indoor spa area, and also enjoyed the fountains, greenery and beautiful pieces of art.We had dinner at Aqua restaurant and then went to Assouline bar — both are top notch.Taking a sea shuttle to a sister hotel at Sultanahmet was the highlight of our stay — so next time we will probably spend a couple of days in Four Seasons at Sultanahmet.
    • Only the location nothing else

    Cons -

    • Everithing was excellent.
    • The room was rather basic for this price category. Still great, however in Shangri-La we had a better room at less than half the price. The mattress was too soft despite my Four Seasons profile (which I added my reservation to) states I prefer medium firm mattress.Breakfast is prohibitively priced so we haven’t tried it.
    • Is this a real four seasons? Very Old furniture, three starts hotel breakfast buffet, super tight lobby, no single decent resturant in the hotel and the only bar closes at 12am!! But, what made the stay even worst the super rude staff specially in the breakfast resturant, they lack the basic hospitality skills to deal with a guest such as simply saying good morning or offering to seat a guest!! except the reception team they were super welcoming and attentive. By the end of my 8 days stay at four seasons isranbul, i was honored to be offered a complimentary breakfast and fruit salad to make it up for me ??I wish the GM reads this message and takes it in a way to improve the team communication skills that do not exist, improve the quality of the breakfast buffet in terms of variety and quality and considers adding at least one decent restaurant/bar, end of the day this is a four seasons hotel that charges around USD 1000 per night!

The price was too high comparing to hotel facilities ,the only good thing there is location ,its facilities in comparison to other well-known hotels like Swissotel is much less than expected,Also when we wanted to check out sooner that our previous plan they increased the price per night 20% and one of them claimed we had a discount because we reserved for 4 nights and the discount is for 4 nights and more and because we are leaving sooner we must pay the extra-charge, the interesting thing was that when the first reception staff who had said that left us ,the second staff come and told us that the discount is for 3 nights and more, they even didn't say the same thing! when i told them that i haven't informed about this in any kind ,they didn't explain and said this is their policy,I would appreciate if you check this matter and let me know about the resultAll the best

Hotel is little bit outdated, but pretty clean

First time in life I experienced situation with brazenly awfull room expenses charge. The painted Champaign bottle in final receipt, after I noticed it said “sorry, we are deleting it”Never thought that such a level of lie is possible in such an expensive hotel..

Furniture was old specially the carpet

The outdoor dining area, the smell of the hotel and the floral arrangement. The spa was great but also old and needs to be renewed.

The rooms are old and I can hear everything in the corridor

amazing property and very friendly pool staff

or room was not ready when we got there, it was already past 15:00bell boy were not helpful at parking, and they barely speak english we had to use google translate to comunicate

    10TeiuPosted on: 8-12-2024

The property is stunning with nice green areas, awesome swimming pool and very polite personnel.

In my humble opinion the rooms although clean and nice are still not at the same level of luxury as the lobby and other spaces inside and outside the hotel. Also the quality of the food could be improved. I'm not saying that is bad but is not so tasty as it should be for such a hotel.

We had a fantastic time here! The hotel is fantastic and surpassed our expectations. They really went over, above and beyond...you know that feeling where a hotel does so much that you feel you "owe them money" because you used up and finished what you initially paid! Everyone seemed to full understand their job descriptions and boy did they deliver on these! From the bell boys who were so quick, helpful and polite, to the concierge service - they seemed to make anything and everything possible...they found what couldn't be found! They really went the extra mile to ensure they met even the toughest of requests and just seemed to make things happen. To the front desk/reception staff who were super efficient and professional, to the guest relations staff who were actually present and always checked in in person, just to see how you were doing and if there was anything they could do to make your stay better..to the restaurant and kitchen staff, the pool staff, the cleaning crew, house keeping...am OCD clean and even they beat my OCD clean! It was fantastic! My 6 year old found toys in her room, had bedroom slippers that actually fit her right down to the bath robe, bath amenities just for her - the barbie toothpaste encouraged her to brush (no fighting about this), teddy bears galore, and she was always excited to find a surprise just for her each and everyday of her stay from the hotel (see photos below).. They made her feel like the most special little princess in the whole wide world! Thank you four seasons bosphorus Istanbul for making our holiday a memorable one, it was fantastic and I cannot wait for my next stay! I would do it over and over again. Something as simple as addressing someone by their name each time (and am like how do they know or remember), taking the time to just observe and remember our likes...you really went over and beyond...thank you!

ABSOLUTELY NO DISLIKES - just a note.... if your not up for in-room dining, you need to always reserve a table at the restaurants for dinner before 6pm on the terrace daily. Luckily, we always managed to get one - but sometimes if you felt up to terrace dining and hadn't reserved, this could be challenging.

    Staff politeness and helpfulness.

Restaurants are all outdoors without any cooling systems and they are not allowed to serve anything in the lobby which caused problems for us. Especially since we had alast minutes official meet up in the lobby.

The staff, especially at the concierge and around the pool, were delightful. The pool, on the shores of the Bosphorus, is really special.

The hotel hosted a wedding, without warning, while we were there. This meant we spent two of our four days there listening to scaffold being erected (and very loud sound checks) or taken down while by the pool - which, for a hotel of this cost, is unacceptable. The food at the one restaurant we tried was very mediocre, and the service there very slow.

    Amazing location at Bosphorus

Breakfast service and food in Aqua restaurant is very poor. I've had found a hair in a omelette, nobody ever apologized , just handled a bill...

The attention to details and high quality is quite apparent from entry and welcoming to departure. Great facilities and view. Quiet and relaxing. Excellent location both facing the Bosphorus and walking distance from Ortakoy and Beskitas.
