Taksim Hotel V Plus

The location was excellent—less than a 5-minute walk to Taksim Square, which made getting around the city really easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the visit.

The breakfast is fairly good (3 types of cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, tea, nescafe، fries corn flakes, chocolat, jams،..) but there were no fruit and no simit. The staff was so adorable especially the blond woman in the cafeteria.

We seriously considered changing hotels in the middle of our stay due to how uncomfortable it was.

The hotel feels old and poorly maintained. There was visible rust in the bathroom, and the toilet flush wasn’t working properly, it often kept making noise for hours after being used.The rooms are not sound-insulated at all. Even with the windows and curtains closed, we could still hear street noise, neighbors talking loudly as late as 4 a.m., as well as footsteps, flushing, and other noises from the room above. It was extremely difficult to sleep, which defeats the main purpose of booking a hotel in the first place.The curtains also do not block out the morning light properly, so sunlight comes in at dawn. The mattress and pillows are uncomfortable as well; after five nights, I ended up with back and neck pain. is close to Taksim Square, but it’s located on a steep downhill street, which makes going up and down very uncomfortable when returning to the hotel.It’s also almost impossible to carry your luggage uphill if you don’t plan on taking a taxi at the end of your stay.We seriously considered changing hotels in the middle of our stay due to how uncomfortable it was.Lastly, the breakfast is below average, with very limited options, and it is served in a small room in the basement.This hotel should be rated as a one-star property, not three stars. It does not deserve its current rating.

Nothing at all..

It was not as described,so we just checked out at first day of ...We changed our room to the best room in this property whish cost about $100 us dollar, but still not good as it should be!!We don't recommend this property for sure..

Staff and breakfast

Room was very small and to go to Taksim from hotel you need to clime a ramp

Althrough the location was good, but the uphill stair climb was steep.

The bathroom is glass-based in the room with no soundproofing, and I didn't like it. The room was small.

The room was very small. I could barely open the bag, didn't like the hotel and room's smell, the toilet has a glass partition all around. The location is near taksim meydan, but it's down a hill, it's tiring to go up and down. The breakfast is very poor.I wouldn't recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel V Plus Taksim. The services were excellent and everything was well taken care of throughout my visit. The streets leading to the hotel are very very steep and inconvenienent to approach on foot with luggage if you're using the metro.Facilities are bad, moldy bathroomsFridge was not workingToilet paper not there in the bathroomNo bed provided for my childSmelly hotel.Smelly carpetsSmelly lobby.Lobby was small.The safe was there but so light and just kept there and could easily be picked up by hand.Washroom wasn't very private and the door was a sliding one with clear visibility from outside.Breakfast area was like a dungeon and was very small and options very limited

Strategic location, friendly staff, room good enough for the price, plenty of little shops nearby, water pressure is good and hot water is really hot.

Sometimes the wifi router becomes unresponsive, it resets automatically but could be inconvenient in case you're having an important call or doing something else that requires uninterrupted connection. The mosque is across the street and the room is poorly soundproofed, so someone with sensitive sleep may have a bad experience.

Nice and cozy bed room and living area, near by all the amenities and walking distance from Takism square. Perfect area, nice management and best breakfast.

A little bit issue with WiFi (slow) rest of all the things are perfect 10/10.

Cheap Quality and small sized everything

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — central, safe, and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Both the metro and tram stops are just around the corner, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city.The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable, but what makes this place stand out is the staff. Everyone I encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. From thoughtful check-ins to personalized recommendations, their hospitality made me feel genuinely cared for.Breakfast was another highlight — a generous and delicious spread that included everything from fresh crepes, pancakes, and local sweets to cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, omelettes, bureks, and fresh vegetables. A perfect way to start the day!As someone who was working remotely, I really appreciated the calm and cozy atmosphere in the lobby. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for video calls, and the staff regularly checked in to make sure I had everything I needed — from water to coffee. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city — whether for work or leisure.

This is a good budget hotel for its price. It’s located in a quiet alley, not far from Taksim Metro Station and Istiklal Street, making it a convenient choice for exploring the city.However, I’d recommend checking the surrounding streets on Google Maps before booking to assess your comfort level - the hotel is situated on a slope, so no matter which direction you're coming from, you'll have to walk either uphill or downhill.The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help.
