The room size and comfort was appreciated. Had breakfast in the room which was delicious and pleasant! It was served within the time announced.

I had personally called prior to arriving in the Country and requested a high floor Suite which was CONFIRMED by reservations over the phone! On arrival in middle of the night (for which I had paid for extra night) I was told there are no rooms available on high floors and after considerable discussion we were still not accommodated and allotted a second floor TRAFFIC NOISY suite! But to be fair, we were offered to switch the next morning if we wanted which we declined as it was too much hassle to pack/unpack! I was initially upset as this was our 4th or 5th trip to the hotel and we were hoping for a better treatment.

Nothing everything was excellent

The location is perfect - close to all you need if you are tourist.The building is beautiful inside. The rooms are posh furnished. And there is a wonderful view of the Bosphorus from the rooftop restaurant that you can enjoy while eating your breakfast.

No swimming pool.My bed was too short even for me. And I am a woman of medium height. The bed linen was excellent, though.Coffee capsules in the room were for an extra fee. I don't mind paying, but it is usually free in hotels of this level.

I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Very very noisy from the street outside the window. You have to keep the window open because it was hot as the AC doesn’t go below a certain temp. Very outdated. It’s not dirty but very old that everything was overused that it feels very dirty. I wish I paid a bit more and got a better hotel.

Air conditioning is extremely poor in both heating and cooling.The windows let in very cold air and a lot of noise.Bathroom maintenance is very poor.

The hotel is stunning, with a prime location close to the city center. The reception area has a beautiful interior, and upon check-in, they kindly offered us salep. Later, we enjoyed hot wine in the lovely inner courtyard — such a nice touch!

However, our room wasn’t ready at 3 PM check-in, so we had to wait. Bathroom amenities were only set for one person — we had to remind them about the missing bathrobe.Worst was the road noise — old windows let in too much sound, especially from the Golden Horn side. We struggled to fall asleep and ended up using earplugs, waking up feeling wrecked. Avoid rooms with Golden Horn views :(

We got poisoned together with my friend at the first night of our stay in the rooftop restaurant. Happy we had a flight in a 1 day after, and not next day. Cancelled the excursion though.Apart from getting poisoned there, we realized it’s extremely overpriced. We didn’t look for prices as at most of the restaurants it’s +/- same, but I wouldn’t ever go there again.Hammam was too cal for me, therapist is good enough, but because it’s too cold, you can’t enjoy it. Relaxation room was freezing.

It was an amazing place, close to bars and istiqlal street, tram.

All staff are supportive and friendly , room service fantastic.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We were so happy during our time there, and the staff were always welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Firat, who was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond. Even after we checked out, he made sure everything went smoothly for us. The only downside was that breakfast was quite expensive, but overall it was an excellent experience.

The Lobby is really nice and the last suite was beautiful with a big terrace.

Our stay was extremely disappointing from the second day onwards despite our beautiful room/suite.The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. Since we had just upgraded the day before to their larger suite for the rest of our stay, the staff member told us at 4 AM to change rooms, located in the opposite direction of the hotel, without offering any help with our luggage. At 8:00 AM the same day, we were woken up again by a screaming child in the room next door.When I went to share my concerns, the concierge and the receptionist were very patronizing. The concierge insisted that the air conditioning was “actually working” and implied I didn’t know how to use it while insinuating that I've never been to these type of hotels before so it could be overwhelming, leaving me speechless. Regarding the noise, we were told it was simply “a family with a 4-year-old child” and that we had to deal with it basically, he even proposed to show me their ID to make his point, which I declined.After this, I tried to cancel our last night, but they refused, saying Booking would not allow it as it was too late. From that moment on, whenever we walked through the lobby, the staff would laugh at us, I mean the whole lobby was laughing behind our back which was extremely humiliating and made the rest of our stay very unpleasant. We ended up staying against our will.They did offer either a massage or two breakfasts as compensation, but by then the damage was already done, we no longer wanted to spend any more time in a place that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.It’s a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but unfortunately some staff members are unprofessional and clearly not trained to deliver high-end service. We have stayed in other 5 star hotels in Istanbul and never experienced such treatment. The inconsistency in how guests are treated here was also very disappointing.
