My wife and I just had a wonderful trip to Istanbul and we stayed at Mataraci Konak that made it even more fabulous. Shout out to Kemal who attended us during our entire stay, super nice guy very attentive to our needs. He is a great asset to your establishment.Mohamed.

A quaint and charming hotel located in the heart of the old city… It is only a 10 min walk away from Hagia sofia, blue mosque, Topkapi palace and other attractions.. The tram lines are also close by… The hotel is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the old city without hastle. The hotel was also well maintained, clean, with good breakfast and a truly hospitable staff, who were very welcoming and very accomodative to all our requests… We had two booking in the same place during our 9 day trip in Turkey and we did not have any complaints.. The hotel staff will arrange airport transfer for pickup and drop off upon request at a reasonable rate and I would highly advise everyone to make use of this.

This was my second stay at the property during my 9-day itinerary in Turkey and I am truly glad i chose this place.. Exceptional location, neat and clean property, good breakfast, and a very warm, welcoming staff..

We had a great stay! The location is perfect really close to all the famous spots. The staff were incredibly polite and always willing to help. A special thanks to İbrahim and Kamal for being so kind and attentive.The only downside is the construction nearby, which can get a bit noisy after 10 AM, but it didn’t ruin our stay.

Room was so small comparing the pictures on booking.comAnd it was annoying when other people living in the hotel above walk around because the hotel was all wooden and it makes crazy sound and disturbing even when you're sleeping. Couldn't help the noise, and dripping water when it's raining.

Everything was excellent during our stay. The room was very comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. The location was also perfect, making our experience truly enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

We had a pleasant experience with the front desk staff and especially appreciated the breakfast service. The woman preparing breakfast was excellent, and her warm hospitality made our mornings even better. I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location close to tourist sights, but in a very quiet area, close to plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff was very nice and helped make sure we knew where we were going and when things opened, and helped to book transportation and other tours. Breakfast was very nice and had good options.

everything was great. the only thing was the creaky floor and at night you could hear people walking upstairs and in the next room. the receptionists were wonderful, kind and smiling. managed to make friends with Ibrahim. they gave me a cake for my birthday, although I didn't talk about it. it was really nice. the location is great. take earplugs for sleeping and your vacation will be great.

Position is very good. Clean room, clean diner room. People in konak very polite and nice. NEXT year we are coming again MATARACI. YEES its not exspensive, and owner prepaire transfer from airport to konak. Gule gule Abe

I recently stayed at Mataracı Konak Hotel for two nights with my partner, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the Sultanahmet area, just a short walk from major attractions like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace.Pros:✔️ Location: Couldn’t be better! Being in the heart of Istanbul made exploring incredibly convenient. Most attractions were within a 5-10 minute walk.✔️ Friendly Staff: The reception team was warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with directions or recommendations.✔️ Comfortable Stay: The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essential amenities. The bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with noise.✔️ Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast spread was well-balanced, fresh, and tasted great—a perfect start to our mornings.✔️ Good Value for Money: Given the location, comfort, and service, it’s a fantastic budget-friendly yet romantic choice.

Ismail was very cordial and even accommodated our request to push forward the booking dates as our flights got cancelled last minute. The stay itself is comfortable and located very close to the shopping epicentre. The overall service was excellent and he even helped us with transfer at a great price. Highly recommended.
