Dencity Hotel Istanbul - Taksim Hotel

This hotel is a very good and clean hotel with lovely staff members and decent sized rooms as well. A nice rooftop balcony view

It is a walking distance of about 15 -20 mins to nearest metro station but quite nice if you like walking

Nice hotel inside, almost good breakfast

The location wasn't good enough. Too many noise outside, car repair, no sidewalk, no taxi, no place to walk, no gym 6:30 am , the next door mosqu Azan in the speaker didn't let us sleep well

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast. Staff is very helpful and polite. The location is in a very poor area . Lots auto repair places and construction supply stores. Taxi drivers can hardly get there. Women should not walk around there alone

Was good and Location is very good not to far from Taksim square

Everything was good, just one thing I dislike, the location between people buildings, two times the policeman asked me about my passport, also its far away from taqsim, for those who is looking for hotel in walking distance from taqsim, staff so quit specially the guy who is working in restaurant, I really want to thank him a lot.

everythings was perfect can start in reception was super welcoming fatima so nice and in the restaurant so nice aecha also and we get checkin early and the room was so big and nice my wife happy and the ladies for cleaning rooms is nice also in all way this hotel super good and i like it in all things thanh alot for all team

The staff was wonderful and incredibly accommodating. They have free breakfast every morning and it is incredible. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay.

The morning shift receptionist his name is omar , he is really a great guy and helps everyone , the hotel was good with good rooms options and clean .

The bald receptionist was so rude and didn’t treat people in a good way , the hotel was close to everything but the surrounding was not good in the middle of mechanics .

Everything..and I especially thank the employees Serkan and Tarek and there is also an employee in the evening at 12 o'clock. I thank them for their high-class treatment.

Everything was perfect, Omar and Serkan was super kind and helpfull. Very good breakfest also.

Everything was great

The staff was nice. They tried their best to make the stay comfortable. They changed our room free of cost, shifted us to a bigger room.

The hotel says that is suitable for disabled users but in reality, it is not. The lift is too small. It requires some effort to fit a wheelchair in. The washroom doors are not that wide either. My husband's wheelchair couldn't go inside which was a HUGE hassle. The staff tried to help in ways possible but it was all in vain. The location of the hotel is fine. It is close to Taksim. But you've to go through a slope-y road to get to that.The breakfast was a major let down. Not fresh. Least effort breakfast.

There was nothing to like. It was a very poor experience and do not recommend it to anyone.

There was an awful smell in the room and bathroom they were not very helpful and just said to keep the balcony doors open which isn’t very possible as it was in a busy area. Dirty floors- it was very dirty to the point we had to walk around the room with shoes on as it felt sticky. Air conditioning- it was abruptly turned off for the last three days of my stay. When I asked about it, the staff claimed it was because other guests found it too cold. This was an obvious excuse; if they were too cold, they could have adjusted it themselves! It felt like the hotel either couldn't afford the air-conditioning or was trying to cover up a bigger issue—either way, it was a blatant lie.Breakfast- was the best breakfasts I have come across, did not even bother eating as there was a poor selection.

This is an old two , max three stars hotel , the rooms are clean and the spa is open until night. Staff is nice.

This is not a 4-star hotel, pictures do not correspond to reality. The hotel is much worse than it looks like, the breakfast is low quality and food is not good. It is positioned in a dark and dirty area which is about 2 km from taksim square, hard to walk by night.

Bad

Staff very rude and Air-conditioning was working first night then rest of nights not working just central heating very bad location next to auto garage area. Also all pics on booking website doesn't match the reality moreover the bath tap was broken

Nothing to be honest.!Except, the staff were very friendly and welcoming..

The location, the view (attached a photo from the room). The room is not well decorated and the bathroom not to the level of cleanliness.

The hotel facilities, cleanliness, buffet breakfast and staff especially Omar were amazing.

Unfortunately, the hotel location isn’t ideal. It’s situated in a hilly area surrounded by ruined houses and buildings. It’s advertised as being in walking distance to Taksim square but you would need a taxi to get there.
