Ess Hotel

The location is great—it’s in Taksim, where everything is close by. It’s a very popular street, so it felt safe and comfortable to walk around at any hour. The room was very clean, they changed our sheets every day, and the staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was nice, but not as good as it looked in the pictures. There weren’t many options, and sometimes even at 10 a.m. there was almost nothing left to eat. They do need to use the vacuum cleaner more, though! In my 6 days there, they only used it once. But I have to say, the room was clean and the bathroom was clean they just need to use the vacuum cleaner more!!

It is located in the center of Taksim Square, with easy access to everything, including the metro. The breakfast is delicious and offers a satisfying traditional Turkish breakfast

The bed was quite firm, and the pillows were smaller than expected. In addition, the television provided is not a smart TV.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The hotel services are wonderful, especially the receptionist, Mr. Mohammed, whose welcome was fantastic, and we can't forget the waiter, Kenan, who was also very helpful. The breakfast wasn't very varied, but the food was delicious. I recommend it to my fellow travelers.

The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel has a good location, with many shops and cafés nearby.

The room was worn out, with dirty curtains and bedside tables. The sound insulation was poor — everything from the street could be heard. The toilet was dirty upon check-in; although they later provided a clean room, the curtains were still dirty. I recommend not trusting the attractive photos of the hotel, better visit first.

The front desk manager was very helpful & he provided us with an Istanbulkart saving us the time & money to buy it.

Housekeeping service needs a bit of improvements. Didn't cleaned one of our rooms, saying that we left the 'DND' card on the door, which wasn't true. Safe boxes in the rooms should be checked & not pre locked when new guests checks in.

Breakfast was pretty average. Out of 3 days, A/C worked only for 1 day and we had to open our room windows to be able to have some cold air in the room. Location is superb and very near to Taksim square so no issue there.

Very close to Taksim square. Rooms are spacious considering that it is a small new hotel. Water is always hot. AC working well.

Walls are thin could hear any movement from corridor outside.

However, it was addressed promptly and professionally by Mr. Mehmet Aybar, the Front Office Manager.His respectful communication, sense of responsibility, and attention to detail clearly reflected the hotel's strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Thanks to his personal follow-up, the rest of our stay continued with comfort and peace of mind.It’s also worth noting that the hotel’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to many parts of the city. It is situated just a short walk from Taksim Square, one of Istanbul’s most vibrant and iconic areas. This central location made it very easy for us to explore and enjoy the city.We sincerely appreciate Mr. Aybar and the team for their dedicated support and professional service.

Very clean, excellent location, comfortable (though not a big room), very nice staff!

The only minus is thatvthe street is noisy because it is a very vivid place. But I didn’t mind that much.

I had a fantastic stay at Ess Hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Their hospitality truly made my visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The facilities quite basic. While it’s a decent option if you plan to spend little time in the hotel.

The room was fine, it was clean, spacious and everything was there we needed. The staff was ok, the area was central.

I booked to beds and got a three bed room, with a bed for children. After some days they asked to change the room to a much smaller one without refund, just for breakfast.It was a bad deal and the way not professional. The Spa was in another house with limited timings, they wanted to sell massage and hamam, not very comfortable. In the night Baggers with small children in front of the hotel screaming around.

There is NO SPA in the hotel itself, the info is misleading. NO BREAKFAST! the bathroom had things on the floor. The only great thing is the location. Wont book again.
