Excellent Service and Excellent Everything!

Loved all the cats! The owners also set us up with a late night taxi ride to the airport. Was a wonderful place to stay in Balat. Highly recommend!

Great location, lovely neighborhood, amazing staff. Best place I stayed in Istanbul. Great little restaurants all around, in a very regular person part of Istanbul. Also, they have two dogs and mini cats, and they are all very friendly, which is great. Very clean.

The location is ideal for anyone who do not want to use taxis as the T5 tram station Fener is a 10 minute walk away. This family owned hotel will not only meet but exceed your expectations. When you enter the hotel, you will be greeted by a short, slim girl called Elha and her husband, Vural and some cats and dogs. Both the husband and wife are very heplful for booking the transport to and from the Airport at very reasonable rates. We were also given the Istanbul Kart for us to use.The breakfast was lovely, too. My wife had a fall before coming here and Ela helped by giving ice for her to apply.The rooms, too are spacious. We felt like we were staying at a friends house and not in some hotel. We would love to stay here again.

The staff was super nice and friendly! Breakfast was good. Location was also very convenient, a few minutes away from tram and bus stations - also exchange office, pharmacy and market all in 50m radius. They have pets ?

The staff was very helpful and accommodating.They also take care of a few friendly cats and dogs.Breakfast was plentiful - a selection of savory and sweet things, including olives, cheese, fruits and eggs - either fried or boiled.The room was clean, and all appliances were in working condition - air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle.

Some of the furniture items in the room I got was kind of old and over used. Some bathroom accessories were rusty.

The staff is so so friendly, caring and helpful. Very reactive too. Don’t hesitate at all.

I travelled with my sister and my partner, and although we had an unpleasant experience with the taxi driver who left us at our accommodation, the hotel staff quickly realised what was happening and went outside to help us! It's been a month since our trip, but I still miss their great breakfasts, the tea before bed and the chats about their lovely pets. Every detail added up to make our stay in Istanbul truly special! Also, their food recommendations around the neighbourhood were some of the best we had in the city!

This is a family owned and run place in a non touristy neighborhood. It shows in all the many ways they take care of their guests. My first night, I arrived late and hungry from my flight. One of the owners took me to a neighborhood restaurant and translated all my dietary requirements to the owner of a small local place. They made me a special meal that wasn't on the menu. The breakfast is cooked eggs how you like and served with sliced fruit, cheeses, sweets, bread, and sliced meat. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. The wifi was good. The place is very clean. When I needed to see a doctor, they helped me find one and made all the phone calls for me. Lovely, kind people. One of my favorite places I've stayed at in years. The tram is 5 minutes away to take you to the tourists sights, or you can take a nice long walk. I found the neighborhood very safe as a single woman.

I enjoyed everything there, but there are things to be aware of - There is no elevator/lift. There is usually someone available to help you with your bags up the stairs. My room could have used "refreshing", so not a fancy up to date hotel. The speaker for the call to prayers(Adhan) is very close to the hotel, but it is lovely even early in the AM. There are dogs and cats downstairs, but they just hang out and don't bother you.

The place is a bit run down. Facilities are old.

The room was tidy and spacious enough for four friends and included a private bathroom. In the evenings, we played cards in the communal area downstairs and chatted with the lovely hosts and their sweet pets. The hosts were an absolute highlight of our stay in Istanbul, who made us feel like family. Every evening, they offered us tea or coffee when we returned from our daily adventures, and kindly allowed us to wash our clothing using their washing machine. The provided breakfast was also delicious and filling. It was truly a comfortable and safe place to stay.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast was nice. The place was simple, nothing fancy but good value for the money and generally nice stay.

The air condition wasn't working properly so the room was very cold. The area was quiet, nothing much happening there, but the public transport options were good.

Wonderful place with very friendly and hospitable personal. Dogs and cats are lovely. The location is perfect: close to all historical places but in the local Istanbul streets. Highly recommended place!

For my point of view, the proportion price/quality is perfect.

This is a great hotel. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. For example, one of us had trouble with her sim-card, so the host herself went with our friend to a shop, where they solved the problem completely for free. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern. Breakfasts are very good. The location is great: 5 mins on foot from Kadir Has University. The hosts offered us coffe for free all day long, even when we came back late at night. We feel there like at home. We are grateful to the hosts for making our stay in Istanbul so great and we will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lotus Hotel, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience. The warm welcome and attentiveness of the hosts created a friendly atmosphere from the start. Their hospitality extended to providing me with a generously spacious room, and they were consistently eager to assist with any inquiries I had.One of the notable positive aspects was the reasonably good internet connectivity, allowing me to stay connected seamlessly. The additional table provided in the room was a thoughtful touch, enhancing my convenience during the stay. The hotel's location proved to be advantageous, with cafes, bus stops, and a waterfront promenade conveniently nearby. Plus, the presence of friendly dogs and a cat downstairs added a charming and homely touch.

However, there were some drawbacks that slightly tempered the experience. Occasionally, the room felt a bit chilly, and the limited number of sockets made charging multiple devices a bit challenging. Additionally, the presence of torn wallpaper on one of the walls and some dust in the closet and bedside tables was a bit off-putting. On one occasion, there was an unfortunate encounter with a cockroach. While the breakfast offerings were adequate, they fell short of being particularly hearty.

The room wasn't clean enough - there was a towel in the wardrobe and some food and drinks in the fridge from the previous guests, i suppose.
