Occidental Taksim

Location was great, close to bus station and metro to get to places

So many loose parts and pieces, showere fell off but instead of fixing it they would just put it back on, study lamp was loose and it would a while to get it to turn off

Money hungry hotel. Make sure your reservation show the correct occupancy. They will charge $--- person per night extra.

Breakfast average. Rooms are not sound proof.

The hotel was extremely clean. The location is as good as it can get to many transportation system. Staff was very friendly/

In my booking it says free parking but parking was not free!!

They have a very accommodating staff from reception to the restaurant and the cleaning staff. The location is very good, close to malls and easy access to tourist attractions.

Anywhere I go, I put my trust in the hotel in terms of recommending tour agencies that would make our stay more memorable at a reasonable cost. I’m so disappointed that the tour company they associated with “GREEN EXPRESS TRAVEL” is not a reliable company. A day tour that started at 9:30 and ended Midnight was a total waste of time. We drove all that way to go to candy and marmalade shops “not factory” and instead of the Main Places stated in the brochure, they took us to ATV for extra cost. Shopping mall for 30mins (who does clothes shopping for 30mins??) If the cable car was not available, due to reasons beyond their control, why not be transparent about it, it’s their responsibility to get this information ahead of time and let the people know. The explanation was lame as we discovered the guide knew about the problem the day before! Very disorganized, lunch was 4pm! NO REFUND AS PROMISED! I can go on and on… so sad, our last day in beautiful Istanbul was a nightmare! Please Occidental Hotel your standard is great! I hope no other guests will have the same experience.

all things was ok we really enjoy our stay , room was very comfortable and was a very good size compared to hotels in Istanbul. all workers were helpful and kind.

1. Location2. Staff was very friendly and helpful3. Everybody speaks English

1. Wi fi connection 2. You can hear your neighbors, walls are too thin

The location couldn't have been better—just a stone's throw from Taksim Metro Station and Taksim Square! The staff truly went above and beyond, offering friendly and helpful service that made our stay even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the breakfast! It was a delightful spread with a fantastic variety of options to choose from.

The rooms have a vintage charm, but they could really benefit from a modern touch. The gym also carries that classic vibe, yet it's in need of some refreshing upgrades to truly enhance the experience.

Good Breakfast. Clean Facility, Perfect Location. Best for Family.

Washrooms should have Brush & Paste.Toilet Brush Missing.

Location very good, staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. The staff is always welcoming and professional, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is consistently relaxing. It truly feels like a home away from home. I look forward to coming back again.

The concierge staff were very nice and helpful. Checkin and checkout were great. The rooms were clean every day and the breakfast was delicious.

Everything went well.

Lovely hotel with a very easy and straight forward check in process. The room was a good size and quiet with a very comfortable king size bed.Excellent Buffet breakfast that was well appointed with many delicious food offerings.Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Shower was OK but lacked a full screen. This would result in a wet bathroom floor - despite taking extra care.
