Ibis Istanbul Airport

I didn’t like anything.

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. It is an old building that was renovated and turned into a hotel.At 6:00 in the morning, I woke up because of an alarm saying we had to evacuate the building. I thought there was an earthquake or a fire. When I called reception, they said it was a false alarm. This is unacceptable.This place does not meet ibis standards. I do not recommend staying here.

We were received by Emre who made our stay memorable. He attains to us with great pleasure and offer us a cup of coffee when we were leaving. Kursat and Songul made sure that we ate well and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Everything was fine and we were welcome in the hotel.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff

I chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport, but it was not a wise choice.The hotel is in desperate need of quality maintenance and assurance.We were two on a business trip. My room was on the 5th floor and the other was on the 4th. The fridge in my room did not work, as well as the electricity outlet above it. I alerted the room service person who alerted the maintenance team, according to him, but nothing was done. The card reader in the elevator is broken and does not work. The door lock is loose. My room card stopped working every day in the afternoon and I had to go sown to the reception to renew it.The other room’s window was leaking when it rained.The Internet connection was useless. Too slow for any meaningful use.I strongly recommend against this hotel.

It was close to a beautiful mosque

The fridge in my room was not cold. Also, I woke up at 6:00 a.m. With the power being out in my whole room and they said they weren't able to fix it and that they could move me to another room but I didn't have time because I had to go to the airport so I had to get dressed and take a shower in the dark. Also, they told me that the taxi ride would be $600 Turkish lira but when the taxi picked me up and dropped me off, it was a thousand Turkish lira. So the airport needs to do better at making sure that the taxi driver charges what the airport says they're going to charge. Honestly, I should get a refund for the power being out in my room when I woke up in the morning. Also the TV didn't work and neither did the AC

Clean, friendly, safe, great food and Yigit is a great employee.

Location to the airport was perfect and price incredible for a great hotel. The young man named Yigit working at the restaurant helped make my stay great. He was very informative, friendly, fast, and is a great asset to your hotel. Thanks Yigit.

Quiet and clean rooms, cleanliness and friendly staff.

As the hotel is near a big crossroad, it could be a little noisily.Also, the air condition system was set at constant temperature without possibility to adjust it for the room.

Zero customer service

AC never works properly If you ask for salt it comes after 2 hour In mid of your sleep they check there hotel fire alarms No room services

Cleaning is great. Staff is helpful. Room was cozy. I prefer again if I need to.

Close to main road where sometimes heavy traffic occurs.

Smelled like mildew, but the balcony door opens so I could add outside air. Needs modern USB ports for charging phones.

We had a long layover before our flight out to Indonesia and decided to leave the airport to get some dinner and rest before the next leg of our flight. The staff was incredibly friendly and got us checked in quickly without issue. The room was just what we needed, a comfy bed for a few hours to rest our eyes.

The curtains could not be drawn to block out all exterior light. Also, not a fault of the property, but there were other guests that were using the hallway as a space to entertain their kids (running up and down/yelling).

The hotel was about half an hour from the airport. My room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable.I also liked the fact that they had a coffee bar and a restaurant on the premises.

I had a very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed for a short stay close to the airport. The staff were very helpful and kind, which made the whole stay much easier.

they don't have usb-c type charger in the room. not met with current standard

They change my room three times 1st one was a smoking room shower of the second room was out of order and hair on the bed sheets and third room was too noisy air plane sound finally i landed in third floor

The staff at the restaurant was nice and food was great.

The lights on the hallway of the room only turn on as you pass and only on the places you're passing through so it was dark and a bit creepy in the hallway. I needed to exchange money and asked 3 of their staff until I find one who would exchange it for me. Also I tried to book the shuttle, but they only answered my message on the app after I had already left Istanbul. I had a friend call the hotel before I arrive and they said they don't book it through the phone only through the messages. I tried sending e-mails as well and wasn't able to book the shuttle through there either. I ended up taking a private transfer from the airport.

Aprox. 20 min from the airport, so I'd recommend for travellers who only stay in Istanbul for 1 night :)

Staff didn't speak much in English, they weren't very helpful when I had basic questions about getting around.

The room was nice and comfy. The toiletries wasn't enough. The breakfast was average.

There wasn't enough shampoo in the bathroom. For the breakfast, the coffee was finished. Breakfast could be better.

Wifi speed is too slow, Internet connection is unstable and roof level is too hot when it is summer.

Clean, budget friendly and close to airport.

Restaurant located in maze of corridors in the basement. Didn't get to try the food, as no staff seemed interested in serving. A dry establishment, which is not a great issue, but should be made very clear as they advertise as having a bar.
