The hotel is disgusting dark dingy dirty our last night in Istanbul was ruined by choosing this disgusting place no hot water dirty sheets no cooked breakfast rude staff breakfast looked stale dirty unappetising our room was really bad with dirty windows

The location they are restaurants right on your door step

It was a bit difficult to find. As there are two hotels both called by the same name. As it¿s down alley. And there are lined with restaurants. Had a two month walk to hotel pulling or case. They said we could use the spa but the ham man was very expens

Staff was helpful and friendly, with good communication in English. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The room was in the basement, with no windows or circulation. The ¿spa¿ closed at 7pm (website said 10pm). The restaurant in the hotel overcharged me approximately 5 fold. An average tasting dinner for two cost $160! In Istanbul, dinner should be $30

Everything is beyond expectations. Welcoming and friendly staff. Thanks to the receptionist that made my trip easy on airport transfer and spa slot for me. Location is strategic.

Strong smells of cigarettes in the walkway.

Staff tried to make us feel good but, when you have so many things wrong can't be happy. several people complained.

Very narrow streets, small breakfast room, dirty, cold tea, coffee with no coffee smell, just pure water. Very bad experience.

The location was great. Staff was nice and friendly

We have booked a standard room (which says 16m in the description) but the room we’ve got was nothing like advertised. It was so small that you could literally only walk around the bad. The bathroom was tiny, again nothing like on the photos, and the shower was like a small tunel, you could barely gen in. In was not even 50 cm large. The good point is that once we’ve raised the issue at the reception they gave us a larger room the next morning. This was nice but considering that the room that we’ve got in the first place was ridiculously small this is the least they could do.

We arrived very late in the night due to flight schedule. The staff has been super friendly and I referring to the staff of the whole shifts I've interacted with.

Part of the hotel was under renovation.The room was minimal. There was a microscopic wardrobe. The luggage itself must be kept basically on the bed foot and paying attention when you get up. There is a small desk immediately after the entrance which is basically completely crowded by water boiler and the container for tea/coffee/sugar.Internet was extremely slow and, during our stay, the system has been updated but, with no effects on the connection speed but with the side effect that we were no longer able to access.We went just one day to the 4th floor for the breakfast. It was a bad experience. The room, even through there was a great view, is definitively too small for the number of guests. The 'sweet' part of the breakfast was good but the 'salty' part wasn't.

Good location. Nice staff with the exception of the one at the spa, very rude.

The breakfast food not good. The spa run by very rude people, no towels. I needed to cancel the appointment at the spa. The room very small and uncomfortable. The sink was so small there was no place to put something on top. The bathroom was not fully cleaned up when we got there.

The hotel is well located, all historical places are up to 10 min walk distance ( Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazar, Basilica Cistern).Hotel staff is very kind and pleasant, they helped us with everything that we asked for. 4th floor is reserved for dinning. It was great to have a breakfast with Hagia Sophia view, food is delicious as well (10 types of cheese, our favourite dish).Top recomended!

Location and efforts to comfort us

It was in a very convenient location, also it you had a day where you didn’t want to do anything there’s a rooftop restaurant and a spa downstairs

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially in recommending activities and tours. There is some renovation going on but they offer guests a choice of rooms to make sure they are comfortable. Felt very safe as a solo female. Thanks especially to Umut and Ridwan for looking after me. The location is very central and feels safe.

Location was great, staff are very kind and helpful. Smily faces, very good tasty breakfast, 2 days we enjoyed a lot with tasty food.

I did not like the bathroom bad smell all our stays, shower was broken, water leakage and no pressure water in both broken shower, tiny place and bathroom is in small L shape, king bed was merge into from 2 single beds, surrounding hotel all construction going on, it can’t be 4 star , it’s not more then 1 ⭐️

We had a wonderful weekend at the Great Fortune Hotel! The staff was friendly and eager to assist us with all of our requests. We also enjoyed some time at the spa, which was a fantastic way to break from our normal routine. I highly recommend it!

The room was a bit smaller than what I expected

The hotel is in a very central location for sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is not a 4 Star Hotel and we certainly did not expect to sleep in 3 ft wide beds! The Spa has an extremely small, shallow pool so we were unable to enjoy a daily swim. The "rooftop restaurant" for breakfast is a scruffy dirty room with broken fittings and filthy floors. There was a window missing for the duration of our stay and seagulls (encouraged by some of the guests who fed them!) were coming into the restaurant through the open window! The service was chaotic and the food was of a poor quality. I was also sexually propositioned by the 18-year-old waiter ! I am in my 60s!!!!

It was a great experience. The staff (Omar) was really helpful and gave us tea and coffee at the reception. The location is quite central, as you can reach everything very easily.

This hotel is an absolute nightmare!

This hotel is an absolute nightmare! If you want to ruin your trip or vacation, this is the place for you. Here’s what you can expect:1. Mold everywhere — on the walls, ceiling, and bathroom. It’s impossible to miss, and the stench of dampness is suffocating. Breathing in this environment is hazardous to your health!2. Plaster falling from the ceiling — directly onto your head. If you don’t want to be buried under dust and chunks of the ceiling, stay far away!3. Filth in every corner — it feels like this place hasn’t been cleaned in years!4. Broken furniture.5. The curtains deserve their own mention: dirty, torn, and wrinkled. Half of them dangle pitifully from the rod, while the rest lie crumpled on the floor.Any complaints are met with indifference from the staff, and management outright ignores requests for compensation. They clearly couldn’t care less about their guests!Don’t make the same mistake I did—avoid this dump at all costs. I can’t believe places like this are still allowed to operate!

We had no hot water on our floor, and there was no water pressure. Some pillows had mould on them.
