    Pros +

    • Location is great. It is at a walking distance to Taksim Square metro station. Lots of dining and shopping options around. I really liked the shower is separate from the restroom and opens directly to the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they tried make the most out of it as much as they can. Wi-Fi was very good.
    • had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from Taksim Square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were all warm, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, and the atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived.A special thank you to the owner, Servet, who went above and beyond for us. He was genuinely kind and made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of our stay, he even referred us to another hotel that suited our next plans perfectly, and it turned out to be an excellent fit for us. His hospitality truly made a difference.
    • The hotel was near to everything, clean and with a friendly staff. We requested a transfer from the airport to the hotel, and the support was amazing as they took care of everything.

    Cons -

    • The rooms we booked were both very dirty. I found hair from previous guests on one of my bath towels, one of my pillows and on the bed. There was a really bad odour coming off from bathroom vents. The bathroom is extremely small, there is no place near the sink to put your stuff around so you have to carry them in and out all the time. One of our rooms was with the balcony and the balcony is common with other rooms, so make sure to lock your door up when you are away (no partition between neighbouring rooms for the balcony). This is nothing to do with hotel itself but the hotel is next to very noisy bars and music continues until 3-4AM everyday and you can hear it from the rooms. If you are too tired or able to sleep in noise that might not be a problem.
    • One thing to note: there are loud street musicians at night in the area, which might bother light sleepers. It didn’t take away from our overall experience, but it’s worth keeping in mind.
    • The only thing that I did not like is the noise that surround the hotel as we couldn’t sleep comfortably. However, I totally understand that the area is hyper active. Maybe the owner could invest more in double glazed windows.

Staff were very nice and always availble.

The bathroom smells moldy and odorous 24/7 even with the fans on. My friend and I had to hold our breaths every time we use the bathroom. Bedroom wall has cracks and there were no bodywash or shampoo provided. Bed sheets/blanket sheets have small stains on them. Music was LOUD until 4am at night, so I cannot fall asleep every night because of how loud it was. Very disappointed but the staff were nice and friendly at least.

    Everything

Booking has become such a mess customers do not know what to believe on it anymore. I found a bunch of 9+ properties that were a 6 maximum! This hotel is rated 8 but I believe it deserves a solid 10. The staff was kind. The location perfect to walk to most tourist places. I even walked to Haga Sofia. I did took me about an hour though but the views are so nice I didn’t even noticed. The place has a lot of restaurants/bars around but I didn’t have a problem with the noise. The room look exactly as the photos on booking (to my surprise as a lot of times I have found places that look nothing like the photos). I stayed 3 nights and both of the following days the cleaning staff knocked my door to come in clean. I didn’t need it though. Anyway, I’m satisfied with the accommodation and location. Thank you everyone and continue to do the amazing job you’re already doing. God bless

Though the room was small, the air-conditioning was a big plus because opening windows was NOT an option due to the noise level. The location is great, but Beyoğlu is loaded with hotels.

Unless you’re ’My Cousin Vinny’ (who could famously sleep through prison rioting), I would think twice before booking this accommodation. The place is surrounded by restaurants in a back street with loud music playing all evening, and one place even has live bands that play until 3 am and beyond. Ear plugs were sufficient some nights. Some other nights I wore noise-cancelling headphones ON TOP of ear plugs.

Staff was friendly, location is very good , clean , renovated

It is extremely noisy especially in weekends no soundproofing windows and the street was very small so sound was amplified There was a very loud music till 4:30 am a

A lot of cafes. If you don't like noise, this is not the place for you. It was convenient for me.

Localization is super good, the stuff is very helpful and friendly. Nice view from the balcony.

Noise from bars downstairs. Without ear plugs you won't sleep well. Breakfast was fine but would be nice to have different set every day.

The location was great for a first visit to Istanbul, as it was quite close to all the important sights and attractions. The staff were friendly, and both the room and bathroom were clean

We had a very hard time sleeping due to the loud noise coming from the nearby bars and clubs surrounding the hotel. In particular, there is a bar right next to the hotel that plays live music at high volume until late at night, which completely ruined our rest. Even with earplugs, it was difficult to sleep. Not ideal for light sleepers.

Great location very close to istiklal street and the Greek consulate. Very close to the taxim square. The stuff was very helpful thanks a lot Aziz!

Maybe for somebody will be very crowded because there are many bars on the small streets but in the other hand you have everything below you.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice to set us up for the day! Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Would like to have some coffee sachets in the room and there should be more toilet rolls (had to keep asking for some)The room was very noisy as above lots of bars- it didn't bother us as we were up until late, but maybe bring earplugs if you plan on a good night's rest.

The whole stay at the Kamil Bey Suites was excellent. The staff was very friendly and so so helpfull. We also booked a transfer from and to the airport and they were exceptional when it came to the organisation. The breakfast was rather simple but very good and enough to keep one hungry till lunch. The room was very spacious, very warm and the water pressure and temperature were perfect, even though we stayed on the fourth floor. The location of the hotel was also very good especially if one likes shopping since the main street is full of shops and the side streets were also full of little boutiques. Taksim Square was at a walking distance exactly like the Galata Tower. Everything was like it was supposed to be. Will come back the next time we are in Istanbul! The thing that impressed us the most is that the host messaged us after our transfer, to ask if everything was okay and we are very thankful for that and for how friendly the staff was.

Great location. Elevator. Overall good vibe.

It is on a busy but cute bar street and the single glass windows does nothing to keep the sound out. Bring earplugs or just stay out late.

    Location, decoration, employees were smiley

They asked us extra money in cash for the sofa bed that we have already reserved and mentioned twice prior arrival. The linen were not clean enough.

location is great a couple of minutes from istiklal rooms were very clean and exactly like the photosstaff was very nice and helpful specially mitch helped us a lot

the only downside is the noise from the bars and cafes but that was settled with the ear plugs provided in the room

I liked the friendly atmosphere of the owner and the stuff. The Location was good. I liked the view of the Agia Sophia Monument from my window.

what I didn't like was first of all the music from the bars below the hotel.definitely needs good soundproofing in the rooms. The beds were quite small anyone over 1.80cm will have difficulty sleeping in these beds like I had I'm 200cm.

The location is very convenient to great restaurants, shopping, and metro and buses. The decoration and layout of the room was very nice and I liked the shower pressure. Appreciated having hot water and fridge in the room too. They were very helpful when it came to arranging cabs and storing our luggage too.

If you don't have good earplugs, do not stay here! The hotel is surrounded by very loud bars that have music that goes pretty late at night. Especially on the weekends, but it's every night. I'm not sure why they haven't done more sound proofing? The breakfast was pretty disappointing compared to other Turkish breakfasts offered at other hotels. The ceiling in the shower was getting moldy and peeling which was unfortunate because it's otherwise a very nice bathroom.
