İstanbul Efes Hotel

Staffs were really kind and helpful. But the only problem was the WiFi of the Hotel.

Low speed WiFi but overall the hotel was super!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, close to both the tram and metro stations. the hotel was very clean. The staff were excellent—despite our early arrival, they kindly provided us with access to the room an hour in advance. Overall, the service was amazing, and we truly appreciated the hospitality.

The room did not have a proper closet, so we had to keep all our clothes in the luggage. The open wardrobe without a door was not very convenient. There was also no sofa or table (only had a small one but it was broken), which made it difficult to sit comfortably in the room. Additionally, the kettle for tea was only available in the lobby. It would be perfect if these amenities could be provided in the room for future stays.

It was terrible. The road was under construction. We had to walk with our luggage along the construction area. It was difficult to find the place.

The visit and the stay were very bad.

The rooms were untidy and the bathroom was dirty. It was clear that the windows hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The service was poor – I asked for breakfast to take away, but they refused, claiming it wasn’t possible. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I do not recommend this hotel.

direct tram ro city center, quite area, friendly staff, stores and kebab shops nearby

The hotel was decent away from the touristic busy area yet close to tram line 1 which takes you to the most attractions in Istanbul. It was also close to the underground. There was a lot of grocery shops and local eateries at decent prices nearby. Also it was not difficult to park the car nearby.

Internet connection was not fast.There was no kettle, coffee or tea in the room.There was no fridge in the room.Cleaning was not good and was not on a daily basis although we always hung the sign on the door.Breakfast trays were not refilled after 10.10 even though the breakfast finishes at 10.30 so if you go to have breakfast after 10.00 you might not find warm food like eggs or burek.Breakfast was decent, but I would appreciate more varaities.

Staff on reception was unavailable helpful and friendly. Did help with any crazy questions with smile and sincere care. Thank you ??

As per my understanding not clean enough floor and towels

It was clean and nice, most of the staff was kind and helpful, smiling and making me feel welcome. Close to "Topkapi kebap" with very welcome people and nice food. It was Close to the tram and bus making it easy to get around.

One of the younger men of the staff was bitter and angry, almost didn't say a word and it felt uncomfortable to ask questions or even ask for coffee making me feel judged. Breakfast could be a bit more choices.

The hotel is nice , clean rooms , nice staff , good speaking english.Good location , many options for using the public transport.

The actual size of the room and bed size was far too small compared to what I saw in the website

The location was good for buses, metro and tram. All very close. And a nice reminiscent part of the city wall is just behind the hotel, which I found nice. Receptionist very courteous, helped me get the luggage up to the room, and even brought me to a local restaurant to get some food when I arrived.

Negatives are 1) the windows don't seem to be soundproof, the first call in the morning (6:30) from a local mosque sounds like it's in your room. 2) if you don't leave the 'please clean' sign on the door, they won't even look at your room, so I wasn't getting water replaced, for example. 3) the breakfast was a down. It is a simple hotel, so you wouldn't expect THE BEST breakfast, but still would expect it to be a little better (including some fruits would already make a difference).

3 days without internet. No solution, no help

We stayed at Istanbul Efes Hotel for 15 days. We are more than satisfied with our stay. The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and available for anything you need. The breakfast is excellent! Cleanliness was very important to us because we were staying with baby and they exceeded our expectations. Clean, very nice and comfortable hotel with great location. All recommendations for Istanbul Efes Hotel! We will definitley stay here again in future.

Staff were super nice. First, my room was placed next to the elevator so they gave me a different room that was good and quiet. Also, they allowed me to leave my bags all day after I checked out and were kind to me when I was waiting in the lobby before heading to the airport. Only note is that breakfast variation is limited, so for a long trip you will eventually get bored of the food options. Aside from this, location was perfect, there are a few local supermarkets, restaurants, and stores under the hotel.

Located in a quite neighborhood, this hotel was one of the most comfortable place I ever stayed in Istanbul. Of all the great aspects of the hotel, I need to emphasize how hospitable and helpful the front desk staff Seydi was during my 4 nights stay here. He helped me check in early and offered some coffee and even half of his cake. People like Seydi make Istanbul special in addition to the rich history and exciting attractions and experiences Istanbul offers. The bed was so comfortable that I was finally able to rest well after a packed trip. Their breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. Plus, the hotel was beyond a good value for money.

Extremely modern, with beautiful artwork. Comfortable bed, with very nice breakfast. Marble floors in the common areas. Looks beautiful. Very helpful staff, and friendly as well.

No complaints from me. I plan to stay here again.
