I felt a bit canalization smell in the bathroom, but it didn’t bother much.

Perfect location, walking distance to all the major sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, etc.) The room was spacious and clean with updated furnishings, and I had an amazing view of the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque and Sea of Marmara. I felt very safe here staying as a solo female traveler and appreciated the recommendations from the front desk. They also arranged my transportation to and from the airport, which was a huge help as I arrived very late. The view from the roof is beautiful and it was very nice to grab a quick breakfast before heading out for a busy day of touring around the city.

If you book transportation through the hotel, be sure to have cash (euros) to reimburse them with! I did not have euros and had to stop at an ATM the next day. The staff were gracious about this.

Just about everything, excellent location near the major old city attractions and many restaurants plus a nearby mini market. It was very clean and quiet, good hot water and WiFi. The first morning the shower head was broken but during the day they replaced it without me even having to ask. Very reasonable price for the location.

The air con remote was sometimes a little tricky to use, maybe because batteries in it were getting low.

It was clean

Not like the pictures at all. Room was very small. No iron, tissue paper and toilet paper in the room at arrival. No tissue paper in room. The breakfast was bad. It was leftovers from previous days. I stayed there for 6 nights and they kept serving the leftover of the same cake everyday. Less options and variety. Balcony is much smaller than what you see in pictures with only two umbrellas so basically you can't sit there because of the sun.

Good location, only about 5 minutes walk to Grand Bazzar and Blue Mosque. And very nice staffs. They offered us a cruise program which was wonderful place and attractions. Thank you.

View, comfort, breakfast

Very clean and nice hotel.The location is strategic,near to the main attractions and tram station also many restaurant nearby so easy to buy foodThe owner,Okan is so friendly and feel so homey.He loves children so much?

- I like the amazing view in the top last floor where we having our breakfast.- Reception team members are nice people and keen to help you.

- You can hear your neighbors rooms people voice very easily.- smoking smells everywhere.- Bathroom doesn’t have Large towel for shower and doesn’t have foot bath room sandel for use.

The place is convenience, short distance to tourist area, staffs are very friendly and helpful, and love the place.

I like everything about the property. The staff at the reception was so nice. He started messaging us even before we came. I forgot to ask his name but he was so kind to give me nice room with nice view as was requested. He also sent a private birthday message to my husband. It really touched our hearts. The night shift staff was also good. We will definately come back! The rooftop view was incredible. Food was okay. The location is close to everything. Tram, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, food, mini markets. We had wonderful experience staying here. Thank you!

Location

The elevator was not working, the hot water in the toilets were not available, there was no complementary drinking water or tissues provided by the hotel. Had a very bad experience along with family. I need my payment back as I will never recommend this hotel to anyone

Location and the night shift front desk

Not as advertised. Rooms very small. Not a clean place. Some staff very rude (day shift). Not comfortable. Too old and everything run down. Only kitchen staff were nice and caring.

We really liked the location of the hotel and the walking distance to the palace and Hagia Sophia. The staff was kind and attentive. The beautiful views and breakfasts on the terrace were very nice. Thank you. We hope to come back and get a room with a balcony.

Location was excellent, very close to Sultanahmet Square and many of the main tourist attractions as well as one of the main tram lines. Easy to get to from the airport via Havaist bus and then tram. The rooftop of the hotel had a beautiful view and was such a lovely place to start the day with a delicious breakfast. Overall great value for money and friendly, helpful staff. My friend had medication that needed to be refrigerated and they were most accommodating with organising that for us.

As other reviews said, there was a bit of an odour in the bathroom from the plumbing but honestly the smell was unnoticeable after 5mins with the air con on so really wasn’t an issue.

Breakfast is really poor. More variety would be nice. Images are nothing like the really thing - it's only one dining room and there is maybe 20% of the food on the images in the reality. Forget about muffins, omelette, pudding. Room was clean, shower not so much. There were stains on the ceiling in the bathroom from leaking water. The air condition in one room got broken and it flood our suitcase that was under. The stuff didn't even really apologize.
