Dekalb Hotel

I travelled to Istanbul for plastic surgery and everyone in the hotel was so kind and helpful. I was offered assistance and even got food delivered to my room throughout recovery since I was unable to pick up my orders at the hotel entrance. Mustafa, Nagehan, and Kerem were always so helpful and kind! They spoke well English and even Kerem was able to speak Spanish with me and helped me when I was having issues with my hotel card. I would definitely recommend and come back here again!?

Great location in Kadikoy, directly across from the ferries to the main tourist areas of the city. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and nightlife in this neighborhood.

There is a nightclub on the street behind the hotel that has live music on Friday and Saturday nights. If your room is on the back of the hotel, the music is very loud and the band plays until 1:00 am. Suggest requesting a room away from the back for these two nights.

Room was spacious and the hotel is close to public transportation such as metro and ferry.

The cleaning crew threw away my stuff although they were obviously not trash, and when I asked the receptionists about them, they denied throwing them away, instead of providing any help.

Amazing hotel! It was above our expectations and it was literally just perfect! Perfect location, staff, very very comfortable beds and the location was great. It was walking distance to everything we wanted- the market- the metro. The staff was super friendly and they upgraded our rooms to sea view which made our stay beyond memorable. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Location, furniture, service and their team.

The hotel is located near the ferry station and train station which makes is really accessible.

The TV and the TV remote control pocket were dusty which makes me assume the cleaning is not done properly.

Perfect location in Asian side of Istanbul. Short ferry rides to many European sites. Hotel is surrounded by narrow streets with bars and restaurants with excellent choices. Walk alongside the water to Moda for tea. Rooms are tastefully and comfortably appointed. All the staff are welcoming and helpful in all your needs. Shoutout to the cleaning staff for excellent job,Will be coming back for sure

The Dekalb hotel is in the ideal location - close to the ferries and near an amazing choice of restaurants and bars. The rooms were immaculate and spacious with fantastic bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Istanbul.

Sleepless nights

Overpriced boutique hotel surrounded by bars and restaurants. Blasting music all night until 3am. Aggressive employees, lousy hotel management. First night when I went down to the lobby to complain about the noise level, I was threatened verbally and almost attacked physically. Sent an email to request the hotel management to review lobby surveillance. I was offered a free room upgrade, a complimentary breakfast and room service, but not an apology for the incident and commitment to address the problem. They called their aggressive behaviors a misunderstanding due to my sensitivity to noise. I declined to be bought silently so other travelers will not be fooled to make a bad decision like me to ruin their experience with Istanbul.

Great hotel, with wonderful staff and facilities. Close to everything, the port, the bazaar, all things Moda. My room was great, internet fast, tastefully appointed, great AC, nice view, great breakfast. I highly recommend. everyone here was wonderful to me. I stayed 8 days recovering from surgery and it was a welcome respite.

Nothing related to the hotel. The area is a bit busy on the weekends. Bring good earplugs. Otherwise it was perfect.

Close to the metro and ferry terminals in Kadikoy.

This excellent boutique hotel offers a very comfortable location. It is conveniently located near numerous restaurants and the ferry to the European side of Istanbul. It's an ideal spot for travelers using Sabiha Gökçen Airport who need to travel frequently between the Asian and European sides of Istanbul.I would like to express my gratitude to Nagehon, Baris, and Mustafa.
