The place is located in a very nice area surrounded by so many restaurants and shops Very near to the fairy and the metro and the bus stops … a supermarket just infront of the hotel The room is lovely and super clean The breakfast is nice Lovely staff

The bathroom could have more lighting and the toilet struggled to flush. If you come in the winter, note that the heating is provided by the air conditioning unit.

The staff is absolutely amazing, which I normally don’t put much thought into, but they really go above and beyond in every way. Rooms clean and modern with streaming smart TVs, very good breakfast that they bring to you. Nice little cafe in front. Situated on a smaller side alley which is part of a larger promenade full of shops and cafés. Small supermarket directly across and a nice parking garage right behind it. Great value for the money. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I prolonged my stay here when I was supposed to change neighborhoods in Istanbul. Very happy with this place

Nothing really

The location is splendid, quiet yet in the midst of street life on the Anatolian side of Istanbul close to the Kadikoy ferry terminal; terrific staff and friendly atmosphere; beautiful breakfast and good pizzas; spacious rooms nicely furnished. If we needed anything, we only had to ask; they made us feel really at home. We loved taking the ferry into the historic centre every day and coming back to Kadikoy to eat in local restaurants each evening.

Nothing. Just bear in mind that it's not primarily a chain luxury hotel for tourists but a one-off tourist-friendly neighbourhood hotel, and all the better for that. Ask for a room at the front with a street view if you want to feel part of the local scene. Oh, and watch for scooters on the street, as they won't watch for you!

Perfect location, close to everything we needed, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was very welcoming, always smiling and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, creating a pleasant atmosphere to relax after a long day

The sound insulation could be improved, we could easily hear noise from the neighboring rooms, which sometimes made it difficult to rest

We really enjoyed my stay at Dugi Hotel. The location in Kadıköy is excellent — close to cafes, restaurants, and public transport. The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything looked new and well maintained. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location walkable to shops, restaurants, nightlife. More of a local feel than other parts of Istanbul. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Exactly what we needed for our short one night stay.

* New hotel with modern facilities centrally located on a quiet street in Kadikoy * Just a few minutes walk away from nightlife and lively entertainment streets and attractions and transportation (ferry and metro and bus). I was staying in a superior room on the 4th floor facing the parking lot behind and very quiet at night.* Great and spotless high speed internet connection, very high speed and great enough to watch Youtube / NetFlix on TV inside the room.* Nice and very earthy Turkish breakfast served daily with some variety, couldn't have ask a better spread to start my day.* Very kind and attentive hotel staff (reception kudos to Mustafa & Mehmet, the cafe et restaurant ladies and the cleaning lady)

* Nothing major but few things that could have made my stay more delightful* Fixtures in the bathroom needed some maintenance, (seat of the toilet bowl to be screwed, shower rod to be fixed properly).* Would have been nice to have free and on-demand turkish coffee available in the lobby area.* Also 2 small bottles of drink water per day were barely enough to quench your thirst especially during the summer heatwave in July 2025. I had to buy a 5 liters water bottle to make tea and drink inside the room.

The shower was a bit broken. It still worked, but it kept falling apart when I tried to move the shower head so I had to sort of crouch to use it. Front desk staff said they'd send someone to repair it so it might be fixed by now.Not possible to fully block out the sun with the curtains.Room gets very hot. A/C takes a while to cool it down and shuts off when you're not in the room (good from a sustainability perspective but maybe a stronger A/C would make this more comfortable).No reading light by the bed, which means you can't read in bed without having super bright lights in the whole room (that you then have to get out of bed to turn off).

Everything was great - staff speaks english very well and is super friendly and supportive, the building is well renovated, the room looked very well, TV has internet access and you can watch youtube, the room is big (which is not often in Istanbul), a great coffee shop downstairs where the breakfast is served and also you can buy food and drinks within the day (even with delivery to you room for free). Location is always good, you can walk to the seaside, metro is close, train station Sogutlucesme is close. Many good restaurants nearby.

No complains, staying here for the second time already, really like the hotel.

The room was very nice and spacious. There were a lot of shelves and drawers for our stuff. They provided all you need for coffee or tea in the room. The service was very good and friendly. The location was just near good restaurants and a lot of shops, close to port where you can go easily to the European side.

There was no view from our room.The clean and maintenance level was not perfect but satisfied.

Housekeeping could have been a bit better, overall the cleanliness was good but the bathroom was not always as clean as I expected.

Dugi Hotel is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to explore Asian side of Istanbul, but have an opportunity to see the whole city. We liked the location, the comfortable room, a lot of storage space and for the most the people working there. We had a great please staying there.

SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF!!! The hotel is located in Kodikoy, so you need to take a ferry to go sightseeing, but the area is very cozy and not touristy. The room is big, the bed is comfortable. The curtains are black outs. You can make coffee or tea in the room and there is complementary water.There is though a slight smell of sewerage in the bathroom and the ventilation in the bathroom is rather loud
