Ada Hotel Istanbul

The front desk guy was really nice. He gave me a lot of information, and was very helpful. h brought tea to my room, and the breakfast was also very nice. The place is really nice, I will book here again.

I got the basement room, and I wish I had gotten a higher floor.

Ada hotel is small but very clean and well decorated. Rooms have all the amenities one can expect. Staff is very friendly and breakfast have lot of choices to cater all tastes. Highly recommend this hotel. Location is close to historic attractions.

Cleanliness and location

Basically in Istanbul, you rarely will find something like a classic hotel, specially in Sultanahmed area, which most hotels are just 3 or 4 story old buildings, turned to a hotel. Never get the pictures seriously !! But the service is good.

Excellent location and breakfast. View from terrace is astounding

Those are my main criteria, and this property meets all of them. 3rd floor annex apartment, cute building, quiet street, about 3-5-minute uphill walk to main hotel. I would stay here again. Amenities I wish were here:•Tissues•Washcloth•Dish towel•Conditioner•Cooking utensils other than the 1 spatula and 1 wooden spoon•Maintenance issues reported day 1 (safe doesn’t work, toilet seat loose, kitchen faucet handle needs repair). Safe fixed 2 days later. Other items not fixed during 6-day stay.

The apartment was clean as a whistle, light and airy. Everything we needed was provided, including drinkable water. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially Merve. The breakfast ? was AMAZING!!

The bed was quite hard. It needs a foam pad to make it more comfortable. Also, the toilet seat is VERY wide. A kid would fall in! It was uncomfortable. Finally, the apartment is at the bottom of the hill from the hotel, a very STEEP walk.

Good location. Great helpful staff. We were meeting with friends and they got a room on the same floor, which was awesome and considerate of the staff. Bed was comfortable and cleaning was available every day after noon. Great breakfast.

Nothing not to like :)

Close to the Blue Mosque and other major sites but set back enough to be very quiet - there is early call to prayer right outside the window but that is part of the magic of Istanbul. If you want a more local vibe for dinner, turn right out of the hotel and go down the hill to Kampaki. Much cheaper. Breakfast with a view was amazing.

Very central location which was great as we could walk to the key attractions.

We found the bed quite hard. It would have benefited from a soft underlay or mattress topper.

Amazing location. 2 min from blue mosque in a calm lane. Little hilly though but good work out after kebabs daily. ?Very good staff. Reception guys are very helpful. Met the owner too. Nice old gentleman. Very good for families.

Breakfast could have been more better. But it nothing to complain about.

We stayed tonight at the apartment side. The apartment is a spacious, clean and very comfortable. The host was very accommodating that we arrived early in the morning, but we are able to check in. The view at breakfast first place was magnificent. The location is perfect to walk to anywhere in the old town.

The size and having a kitchen were great.

The master bed had a very small blanket that we found impossible to share. The bed was very comfortable.

The location es excellent, breakfast is great with a beautiful view. The breakfast staff is so kind and nice. The staff from the front desk are so helpful. Special Thank you to Safe and Bugra, they help me a lot. I am so happy that I stay in Ada Hotel. I highly recommended. Definitely if i come back to Istanbul I will stay here again. I like everything about the hotel. Love it!

Breakfast is modest, I prefer to have breakfast out side with fresh Simit and Borek

well organized, wide and clean room with well made furniture

The room was clean and well decorated. The staff was excellent. Handled questions and concerns without hesitation. Talked with the owner during a marvelous breakfast on the top level that overlooked the river. She spoke English and chatted with us for quite awhile, wanting to know how we were doing, where we from and was very proud of her facility. We could walk to the major both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia as well as the bazaars. I would return to this hotel when coming back to Istanbul.

The bed was a bit harder than I prefer, but for the night we were there it was fine.

I booked the family room. The room is big and my family (the 7 of us) always gather in the room if we are not going out.

The bed creaks when you move. The mattress sank due to wear and tear over the years. Surprisingly everyone managed to get a good night sleep despite the condition of the bed and mattresses. So, this is not a big issue.
