The location was is top, so are the staffs. Friendly staffs good bar and restaurant. They always help with taxis

The rooms are cold

I liked having the single bed in the room next to the window. The room was very clean, and I had friendly roommates who were respectful of boundaries. The hostel owner was very friendly, and did not hesitate to extend my stay a night when I needed it.

I hope the hostel someday accepts card payments in advance. This IS a cash only property; be prepared to pay in cash even if you booked online with a card.

Female dorm located at the top floor, so be ready to carry your luggage up. Also, there’s no bedside lamp, so when you’re back in the room late, you might have to work out things in dark.

Cleanliness could improve a little bit

Incredibly friendly and generous people throughout my stay. Very flexible with my travel dates, offered to store some of my things when I left the city and planned to return again to the same place!

Wonderful spot in a great location. The owner is very kind and helpful. I am a single female traveler and booked into the mixed dorm, but he saw that it was only boys in there and set me up in my room for both nights. Lovely spot highly recommend!

The only positive is being in a location close to everything.

- The bathroom is not cleaned daily- Getting to bed on the fourth floor is a difficult task without an elevator

Centrally located in Taksim and easy to find

Excellent location. Everything in Istanbul at your doorstep. The place is clean and tidy and the owner and his brother will make you feel at home and part of the family. Take all of his advice and recommendations and definitely reach out to him with any questions you have big or small, even just things like where to get bottled water for a reasonable price. I have stayed here twice now as has my sister and friends and we all love this place. Will definitely be back on any future trips to Istanbul. The pizza kitchen down stairs is also amazing and was the best pizza I had in Europe. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning too. Showers are great too.

I couldn’t rave more about this place. Ahmet and his brothers were so amazing and very helpful. I booked 2 nights and ended up spending 11 nights in total. The bed was comfortable, showers hot, and the pizza down stairs was absolutely delicious. The location in Taksim Square was perfect to get to the metro and around the rest of Istanbul

Great location and price! Friendly and helpful host. My second stay here. Super convenient for a stopover in the very heart of Istanbul! Night arrives, WiFi, stores your baggage as long as you need during the day. Great! Only 8 min to walk from the airport shuttle bus stop on Taksim Square.

Check out at 11 am, quite early. But it's the usual story.

A source of drinking water would have been great instead of having to buy it. But there's a cheap store very nearby.

The owner was very nice! He upgraded me to a room with less people and I ended up being alone… thank you!! The location is also great and the pizza downstairs is also tasty if you don’t feel like leaving the hostel one day. Location is great
